Dr. Zhu is EXTREMELY unprofessional & left early while I was driving an hour away. I was stuck in traffic so I arrived about 15 minutes late, but by the time I arrived I was informed she had left... I have been coming to this practice for the past 6 years due to my great rapport with a former dentist, Dr. Pinto. Despite the astronomical wait times of an hour or more even with being the first appointment in the morning at 8 AM or 9 AM, I was willing to wait because she had excellent bedside manner on top of the fact that she was kind and professional and did excellent work. During my last visit last fall 2024, there were new receptionists, and they were just as friendly and sweet as the former ones. However, most recently, they hired staff that is poorly trained and unprofessional in front of patients as well. In my last check up appointment in August, Dr. Zhu, and the receptionist were actually arguing in front of me. I have never seen this behavior in any setting, and definitely not at this location. Yes, sometimes receptionists in general can have poor attitudes, but this was not the case eve at this location until now. After no one returned my call to schedule, I told myself I would not return. However, I tried to give the benefit of the doubt. Now, I will not be returning, and I will be reporting that to the Better Business Bureau because the infractions by the office lately are of great concern and a big disappointment from the excellence at this site was when the other dentists and staff were here. read more

Beware of lies. Had work done, they confirmed to me that the insurance would cover 80% and I paid 20% prior to the procedure. The insurance never approved the work and they are trying to stick me with the rest of the bill after the work was done. They will say anything to get you to do the work and collect the money then come at you on the back end for more money. Now we are in collections and it is reported on my credit report. At this point, just wait out the clock but all of this could have been avoided with honesty and truth up front and not lies and manipulation. Been coming here for 5 years now, I like them but I also don't like the wait times. Try to get an early appointment if you can. Also the dentist's switch out all the time so there is consistency with your dentist. Thankfully I have like ever one I have seen. I had a root canal, post, and crown done 4 years ago. About 2 months ago started getting pain in this tooth, immediately went back and they told me there's inflammation, and that I need a root canal "retreat", which they don't do. They sent me to their affiliated endodontist. He told me the root canal was done too short, and only on 2 out of 3 nerves. I have pictures before and after his treatment that clearly show a huge difference. Had to pay him over $400, after my insurance already covered 80%. He ended up cracking the crown, but said it was leaking anyway and I needed a better one. I went back to Dr. Dental and told them they should not charge me, or at least give me a solid discount on doing another post and crown, as this was cascaded from the insufficiently done root canal. I was told I have to come back in 2 weeks just to talk to Dr. Pinto who did the root canal. Fine, I waited 2 more weeks. They called me few days before, and also few hours before the same day I was due to come in, to remind me about the visit. I came on time and ended up waiting 45 minutes, and there were still people ahead of me. All I needed at this point is a 5 min. conversation with Dr. Pinto, but apparently, waiting 2 weeks wasn't enough, they purposely made me come in and expected me to wait few more hours just to talk to her. The office staff was always nice and accommodating in the past, but the office manager lady who was there was very unpleasant, and I know she was trying to discourage me as much as she could. She said 2 weeks earlier she's not a doctor, so I need to talk to Dr. Pinto, but then later few times she claimed Dr. Pinto did everything correctly. So now she claims to have the dental expertise she said she did not have earlier. Yet I have pictures that show very clearly how poorly the first root canal was done. Terrible place that does not owe up to their faults. I will never visit them again. If you expect your root canal to last more than 4 years, RUN AWAY FROM THEM!! read more

I am BEYOND UPSET! Mr. KIM not calling him Doctor cause in my opinion is unprofessional wrote a prescription that they would send to my pharmacy and after calling twice and being assured they would send it before closing time FORGOT! That Bullshit and bad business practice. No Excuse to not have anyone send over the prescription or Better yet give me the prescription and I can take it over there... I will NEVER go back here again. Good thing about Dentists is there like Barbers shops. Now time to go find another one that actually cares for patients. read more

Was here on wednesday morning for a filling, Dr. Kim was amazing!! Nice calm and compassionate, plus spectacular bedside manner, told me 'you're doing awesome' when he was giving me numb shots and drilling into my tooth, it maybe a small thing but it means so much and is so important to us patients because im sure we are all terrified of dentists at some point and it gives us a boost in confidance and courage in withstanding the procedure to the end, please continue doing that Sir in your career, warned me ahead of time about the additional pain of the second numbing needle which was extremely helpful as i mentally prepped, overall a fantastic doctor and great staff. Let's start off by saying I hate going to the dentist like many of you. However it is a necessity. I wanted a dentist that was affordable and get an appointment without sitting in the waiting room all day. I believe I found that office. The receptionist are very pleasant and the dentist was excellent. She knew I was uncomfortable being there in the first place so she did her best to make the visit as pleaseant as possible. Total scam! I went there cause of their promotion. They told me that i needed 4 cavities to fill. That was kind a suspicious at first, so i decided to get a second opinion from two different highly respected dentists in the area. It turned out that i didn't need any cavities at all, my teeth were fine. Surprise! They were gonna drill healthy teeth and put fillings. American greed at its finest! Dental care in this country is the biggest scam and rip off of all times. I try to go out of the country for the care and pay a tiny fraction of what these "gangsters" charge here. This place is a scam !(if your a new patient beware) I was a new patient only went there once for a cleaning about 7 months Ago and they told me I had 9 cavities and that they can do it in 5 different appointments and that it would be 1,700 dollars .. o but they were going to be nice and put me on a payment plan for 200 dollars a month ... thanks . I went to my old dentist that I stopped going to after I was no longer under my moms insurance and he told me i did not have any cavities. Dr.dental was going to ruin the integrity of my natural teeth but they were also going to charge me for it and make me take off work which I would also be losing money by doing. I can't tell you how angry I was when I found out . I'm sure this place is going to tell me they have no record of me coming in lol . My file probably went threw the shredder by now. I have been going to this place for almost 3 years recently new stafff came in. Place turn horrible, my gums were hurting because my tooth was shaved to close to the gums for preparation for a temporary crown. I refuse to have the crown put on same day because I was in so much pain. They wanted to avoid a liability by forcefully making me sign a paper or get the temporary crown, when I related again about pain to the doctor and the office manage all they were consern was about me signing the paper. Not me as a patient. They didn't offer to medications to ease the pain or nothing to this effect they were just concern with their pockets and liability. The office manager went as far as threaten me Into trying to have me sign paper or get the crown. People please know your rights. No one can force you to get a crown on your teeth, sign a paper or do anything you don't feel contable with. Bad customer service from both Dentist Bae Ginna, and her office manager Yermi Alcántara.
