Dr Brisman knows his stuff. He is very knowledgeable. His staff is kind. He did an extraction a cleaning and a filing .all went well

Dad is 100 years old and in Care One a Rehab Ctr for a short stay. Dr entered the room asked if he could exam his teeth. I told him he had full set of dentures less than a year old. He looked at the dentures and charges $250. I'd rate this behavior less than 1 star if possible. read more

This place has an avg. of 3/5 stars, what a lie. It should be 1/5. This man has no sense of responsibility or care for his patients. Please do not go here and make the same mistake I made. Save yourself the trip and also the receptionist was just as aloof as the dentist. He was in such rush and how is my teeth cleaning a total of only 5 mins max. Again such a joke! Dr. Brisman is the most caring and accommodating dentist I've had. He will always do his best to get you in when you need. He even kept the office open one night for an emergency with my husband. Knowing we had an hour drive, he and his staff waited until 830 pm for us to arrive. Not once did anyone make us feel unwelcome or like the inconvenience that we were. The whole office was nothing short of kind and friendly. You can appreciate how sincerely invested he is in his work, meticulous and quick to not miss a beat. Staying very aware of every step of care in a patient. And he's bound to have great music playing. read more

0 stars and would not recommend I had an appt today even paid my babysitter to come so I can go to the dentist and unfortunately my daughter threw up in the car as we were driving to her sitter house. I call the dentist , explain myself. I am mad myself I cannot go to the dentist !and I call to reschedule and the rep on the line kindly re booked me for a later day than hung up. She calls me back 3 min later " dr Aaron doesn't want to reschedule you , for calling an hour before your appt to cancel" really dr aaron??? You sound like a "GREAT"person , thank you so much for understanding that my baby daughter who's 1 threw up all over herself in the car out of know where! Very rude and very unprofessional (I am aware calling last min is not ideal) but neither is my situation. I don't want to go see him now anyway after I know he is a unsympathetic uncaring dentist I wouldn't want to put myself into his care and use him as my dentist rude much??? read more

I've been going to him for years and whether it's a cleaning or even a root canal like today, he does a great job and takes pride in his work. This guy is a butcher! If you care for your teeth, mouth, gum do not put a foot in his office. First of all he is extremely unprofessional. I felt very uncomfortable there the way he was talking to his staff and bad talking about customers to them. I went in for a cleaning and he was done in 3 minutes. After that I told him about a molar that was bothering me and he recommended to pull it out..... Holy cow! He has no idea what he's doing!!! He broke my molar in a million pieces ripping my gum all the way up my pallet and was left with no gum to stick up. Basically he left me with my bone sticking out and strings hanging cause he couldn't stick it. What a horrible experience ! The pain is indescribable. Now I'm going to a Professional who is trying to fix what this butcher has done to me and it's taking a lot of time and money to rebuild my gum. I truly hope they take your license away cause you are not qualified to be a dentist. read more

The worse cleaning I have ever had in my life. I come from a family of dentists and this was like going to a butcher. The cleaning took like 10 minutes, he just used the scalpel. My tongue even got hurt in the process. The my husband went in and he had tears in his face from the aggressive way the dentist did this cleaning. He came out with a chunk of his gums hanging on his molar. Let's just say NEVER AGAIN! read more

Zero stars . My wife did not have a good experience with Aaron Brisman. He was very rude and unprofessional we do not recommend

I made an appointment with Dr. Aaron on Jan 27, 2020 to check the back side of my right gum pain around my wisdom tooth. Once I walked into office, the assistant directed me into one of the patient rooms. Dr. Aaron walked in and out of the patient room, chatting and talking to others, after 10 mins he finally sat down and take a look at my teeth. After the check, Dr. Aaron performed teeth cleaning. The entire teeth cleaning process took less than 2 minutes and he was chatting with his assistant while performing the cleaning work. Dr. Aaron did not clean every single of my teeth. Dr. Aaron suggested that he can either refer me to an oral surgeon or he can remove the wisdom teeth. Since the office already took the x-rays of my teeth, I thought it might be convenient to have Dr. Aaron to remove my wisdom tooth. Dr. Aaron sat me down in another patient room. He started to inject anesthesia in my mouth, while doing that, he was chatting with an intern. Dr. Aaron did not paid attention on the amount of anesthesia that was being injected into my mouth. During the wisdom tooth removal process, I felt the pain and had to stop Dr. Aaron and asked for more anesthesia. This is absolutely a wrongfully administered anesthesia. Before the wisdom tooth removal process, Dr. Aaron requested his assistant to take another x-ray on the left side of my mouth. But it was the right side that was infected. This is absolutely reckless and negligence. This is unacceptable. Dr. Aaron do not pay attention at all, failure to provide proper order. I am not a dentist but I looked at the x-ray of my wisdom tooth, it seemed to me that my wisdom tooth wasn't covered in bone, the use of drill was not necessary. Instead, Dr. Aaron started with drilling to remove my wisdom teeth. The wisdom tooth broke half due to the improper extraction. Dr. Aaron continues to drill more and this caused more future harm. read more

Life changing!!! What can I say? I as many do have severe dental anxiety. Putting off the need for restorative care as most do. Dr. Brisman and his staff made me feel comfortable right from the start. One stop shopping for sure. After my x-rays he actually asked me what I wanted out of my visit. First time ever that any past dentist that I went to wanted to hear my needs. I had several procedures and an extraction all in one visit. WOW could you believe that he didn't send me out to an oral surgeon???? He is so old school and even does his own cleanings. I didn't feel any pain at all. Thank you Doctor for taking your time on a very anxious patient. Oh and the quirky jokes and singing were an added bonus. LOL I am actually looking forward to my next visit in 2 weeks. Dr. Aaron Brisman is extremely professional with a great personality and he has an outstanding and friendly staff. The office is very clean, sanitation is definitely top priority. He and his staff make sure that I am comfortable during all procedures I've ever had. I came to him with a mouth full of work. Before him, I'd been bouncing for years from one dentist to another. Dr Brisman pulled my tooth and he so quick and painless, I didn't know the tooth was out!

Dr. Brisman treated my son and I cannot say enough about him. My son cracked his front tooth and Dr. Brisman was the only dentist out of 5 we called that would get him in the same day. After fixing his front tooth, he saw that my son had a LOT of work needed and he stayed late to start the work. I've used another dentist in Elmwood Park but will be going to him for my dental needs from now on after seeing how well he treated my son. read more

yeah no. went here 3 years ago and he was rude, and snarky. Recently went back (dont know why honestly) and 2 min in he made a sarcastic remark (cause i didn't know which tooth was the problem) and even the nurse said "wow, yeah hes sassy sometimes". he didn't explain anything he was about to do yet had a needle in his hand when i asked what he was doing he said "waiting for you to look up" ok...... rude. maybe if you explain the procedure i would have known what was happening. he then gives me options on a types of anesthesia, and when i pick my option he goes, well you could pay $$$ and get it somewhere else. sarcastic asshole. im in pain so why give me options you dont have. then he leaves the room, and the nurse starts to signal me out, we walked down the hall where he was in a room with another patient and she ask if he as anything else for me he tells the nurse "good luck on her finding somewhere to do that, she could drive 2 hours for it elsewhere" nurse surprised by his rudeness goes "well she's right here" and he doesn't say anything else (cause he didnt know i was still standing there). rude. horrible. so sassy. maybe if i was given the proper explanation i would have understood. I've heard from my neighbor not to go cause of his rudeness, but i just wanted to not be in pain. sigh read more
