When it comes to his ability to manage the care of patients, I learned the hard way that he truly doesn't understand what he's doing. My estradiol levels were elevated slightly above the high end of the normal range. He decides to prescribe Anastrozole, an estrogen blocker or aromatase inhibitor, at a dosage of 3mgs per week and tapering off to 1mg per week. he truly was guessing on dosage because retrospectively that dosing was way too high. Dr. Bronner didn't run any bloodwork for over a year, despite my repeated requests, and when bloodwork was actually done, my estradiol was at a non-detectable level. Low Estradiol levels caused my fascia to dry up considerably and 9 fascial adhesions formed along my anterior fascial chain and I couldn't walk without severe pain for over 2 years. Dr. Bronner never took responsibility for this major f**k up and even tried to cover his tracks with some AI generated papers in an effort to mitigate the risk of being sued. I would be very very cautious about putting your trust in Bronner Handwerger. As I went searching for a new physician, I found consensus amongst Bronner's peers that he is considered a hack. BE CAREFUL!!!!!

I was referred to Nourish by a friend. I browsed their web site and read over the 'Providers and…read moreStaff' bios to try and decide which doctor I wanted to see based on my needs. Honestly, it was a bit of a shot in the dark. Prices of visits vary depending on who you see. I called to make an appointment, and was disappointed to find out it was about 3 months before I could get in. I was called and offered an earlier appointment when someone else cancelled, but I couldn't make it, so I stuck with my original appointment time. The front desk staff were always pleasant when I interacted with them. You have the option to visit in person or through an on-line virtual video visit. For my first visit, I decided to go in-person as I wanted to make a connection with the doctor and for her to really "see me". The office is very clean, modern and upscale, although not 'cold and clinical'. The decor colors are welcoming and serene. There is a waiting room and then you're called back to your doctor's office and you walk through a common area with a large table. There's a small restroom and a phlebotomist's room. I left after my first visit (which was about an hour) with my head spinning slightly as I felt like I had some 'homework' to do before my next visit. This included downloading an app, through which to order supplements and ordering said supplements. Organizing getting bloodwork (which, after some research turned out to be less expensive through a 3rd party lab, not through the Nourish phlebotomist), ordering a prescription through a compound pharmacy and purchasing and utilizing a continual glucose monitor through another retail outlet. While wearing the monitor, I had to enter any food consumed and any exercise activity into the glucose monitor app. Communication with your Nourish doctor is done through a 'patient portal'. Any messages I sent were usually answered within a couple of days. I also called the front desk a few times with questions. For my second visit, I chose the convenience of meeting virtually on-line to save the commute time. This visit was about 40 minutes, done through the portal. The doctor I chose was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant, but not particularly warm and bubbly. She didn't smile much. Not a lot of pleasantries like , 'How was your summer?' or 'How was the drive here?' or whatever, just strictly down to business. That's OK, but I like a little bit more of a friendlier/interactive bedside manner. Between two visits, some bloodwork (outside my provider network), several supplements, a compound pharmacy prescription and mail delivery, plus purchasing a glucose monitor, (also out of my provider network), I spent just over $1,100. After my second visit, it kind of occurred to me that the operation relies a little heavily on the recommendation of supplements which you order through a portal they suggest -- obviously they make a commission. (I was told by the front desk to 'Not order through Amazon'!) I didn't feel like the first set of supplements had done much, so I decided not to order the second set that was suggested. I felt I was given very minimal nutritional advice. I'm glad I gave Nourish and naturopathy a try and I was pleased that I was tested/monitored for things that my regular medical provider wouldn't bother testing for, however, ultimately I didn't feel like it solved much for me. There is free on-site parking.

She is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely listens to both what I want from my care and what I know about my own body. What stands out most is her willingness to problem-solve with me rather than expecting me to endure discomfort. I have had hundreds of infusions and have experienced nerve pain from IVs repeatedly. Not one previous doctor or nurse had ever found a way to help with it. Dr. Rosas gave me hand warmers during my infusion, and it took away the nerve pain. After years of being expected to simply tolerate that pain, having someone notice it, care about it, and find a solution was incredibly meaningful. The treatment chair was also too short for me to lie comfortably, so she created a setup that better supported my body. This reflects how she approaches care overall: when something is not working, she listens, believes me, and looks for a solution. Because I have many medication allergies and sensitivities, she also works with a compounding pharmacy to create medication options that I can tolerate. I have already noticed significant improvement in only three weeks of working with her. She is especially patient and compassionate when I am overwhelmed or dysregulated. I do not feel pressured to hide what I am experiencing or push through an appointment in a way that is harmful to me. She makes accommodations with kindness and without making me feel difficult for needing them. I also deeply appreciate that Dr. Rosas wears a mask and that the office is clean. Those details make accessing care feel much safer and more comfortable for me. Dr. Payam Zand has also been very kind and welcoming, and my overall experience with the practice has been extremely positive. Dr. Rosas combines medical knowledge with patience, creativity, compassion, and genuine respect for the person receiving care. She does not just provide treatment; she works to make treatment accessible, tolerable, and individualized. I am incredibly grateful for her care and highly recommend her.

I've also had customized IV nutrients to enhance the recovery since I've experienced immune exhaustion due to internal inflammation. They are truly amazing doctors who CARE for their patients and 'walk the talk' with the patient during the investigation, treatment, follow-ups, and recovery phases.

IVs were the last thing on my mind and they were in no rush for me to use the credits as I did not receive any type of reminder call from them. I called a week and a half ago letting them know that I'll be in town and would like a refund for the credit that I have. A receptionist confirmed that I did, indeed, have a credit and that it was for an IV package. She talked to the manager and told me that, not only can they not provide me a refund, but I can come in to redeem the credit for only one IV session since their prices went up. I was upset by this because it's not like I was asking for a refund for a service I was unhappy with, but for a credit that I clearly cannot use since my move. I explained to her that I had paid cash for the promotion that didn't come with any stipulations. I didn't sign anything and the person who sold it to me didn't tell me about any rules that came along with the promotion. The receptionist danced around the best she could, explaining to me that "most people usually use the service within a year" and offered me a vitamin B shot instead, which is worth less than an IV session...I declined and asked to speak to the manager, but, of course, she told me that they were unavailable. I asked that the manager please call me back later that day to discuss this matter further and left my number. I still, to this day, have not heard back from anyone. To me, this is pretty piss poor service and unprofessional. They basically are ignoring me so that they don't have to pay me the $380 back. It's not like it's $20. This is a big chunk of money that they've held on to and collected interest on. Debating whether or not a small claims court is worth it, but definitely spreading the word so that customers don't get bamboozled like I did.
