He comes into the room, almost like he's on speed, and tries to get you out of the room AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. He asks you questions almost as if it were an interrogation and literally presses you on every answer that you provide. I overheard him belittling a patient in the other room while I was waiting!! PSA, if you're Paincare of San Diego, maybe you should upgrade your insulation! He really doesn't give a hoot about you and is only focused on getting you in-and-out. Really hated this experience and would not recommend. My review is not a testament, look at all of the other reviews. Sure, there MAY be some qualified physicians at this "facility", but DANNY SONG IS NOT ONE OF THEM.

Scripps.Torrey Pines as my vision was being affected by the top and bottom eyelids which were blocking my field of vision. I had surgery on 11/21/17. After the swelling went down I and others noticed that my eyes looked the same as pre-surgery. I had an appointment with another Dr. @ SCRIPPS Torrey Pines to check for cataracts a few months ago. He informed me that the cataracts were not ready for removal. He did tell me that my upper eyelids were drooping and recommended that I should go back to the surgeon who did the surgery. I said that there was no way I would go back to him he then recommended Dr. Bobby Korn, an Ocular facial plastic surgeon but he as at UCSD IN LA JOLLA. I saw Dr. Korn in July of 2019 and got a surgery date of 10/15/15/19. That was last week. I had the surgery with no complications and was driving the following day. I saw Dr. Korn for post-op visit and everything looked great. There are no bruise marks as he cut away the excess skin on the outside of the eyelids. They are gradually fading into the fold of the eyelids and will eventually fade. I thank Dr. Korn and his excellent staff for the wonderful job they did and I highly recommend him for anyone needing that type of surgery.

After waiting more than two months for an appointment with Dr. Heather Gochnauer, I was refused…read morecare because I arrived 15 minutes late due to a misunderstanding about the appointment time. The receptionist confirmed that Dr. Gochnauer was still available and communicating through the office chat when she declined to see me. I specifically asked the receptionist whether refusing to see me was intended as a punishment for being late, and she answered, "Yes." The receptionist also confirmed that I was the last appointment of the day and that there were no other patients scheduled afterward. I was told I now have to wait until November 24 to be seen, creating roughly a four-month delay for what should be a brief skin-cancer screening. I find it deeply concerning that a patient would be denied care under these circumstances when the provider was available, no one else was waiting, and the screening itself would have taken only a few minutes. I believe this treatment may have been influenced by discrimination based on my ethnicity, and I intend to file a formal complaint. This is not the first time I have experienced discriminatory treatment at UC San Diego. In a prior situation, a UCSD physician deliberately gave me inaccurate information that my insurance was not accepted in La Jolla. My concern is that complaints are often dismissed without a meaningful investigation, including with statements such as, "There is no evidence that the doctor made these statements." Patients deserve timely care, professionalism, reasonable discretion, and a meaningful process for addressing serious concerns.

I have tried many different strategies to combat the pain but nothing worked. I tried acupuncture, massage chairs, having my friend massage me, foam rolling and relaxation techniques. Massages work only for a couple hours before the pain would come back. I became very skeptical of any pain relief strategies because the pain would always resurface within a few hours. I was lucky to have found Ron through my work. I have seen him for about 2-3 months, for a half hour session 2-3 times a month. After my first 30 minute session with him, the pain miraculously dissolved. I anticipated the pain and tension to resurface after a few hours (just as it always does after a massage) but that did not happen. I felt great for days and weeks. The difference is that the sessions with Ron are very interactive, unlike a typical massage session. He is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, he teaches you how to manage the pain on your own by showing you some simple strategies to work your muscle knots and tightness away at home. Our thirty minute session is very interesting but highly effective. It's different but in a good way. Every time I come back from a short session, I feel a greater range of motions for days and weeks. I am very lucky to have been able to experience the range of techniques Ron has shown me. He is very kind and charismatic. I look forward to working with him more to combat my muscle pain and learn more strategies. I highly suggest seeing Ron as opposed to typical massages if you want long lasting pain relief!!

I finally got the appointment after calling the office about a dozen times over many months. I finally got the epidural, and at the pointless follow up appointment somebody other than Dr Kim came in the room and rudely barked a bunch of questions at me and then left the room without making eye contact or introducing himself, or telling me that I'm free to go, that was the whole appointment. I still don't know who he was or what the point of the follow-up was, I never saw Dr Kim again. They sent me the wrong bill 6 months ago and I tried contacting their biller many times to speak to them about the bill. I can't get ahold of them on the phone, and I get zero responses to emails. They continue to send me the wrong bill every couple of months, and every time I try to contact them with no response. Finally after 6 months and many attempts at contacting them, I got a response saying: We're working on it and every time you contact us you get bumped to the back of the line so stop contacting us. But they keep sending me the wrong bill! The procedure occurred nearly a year ago and this is still not resolved.
