I was never contacted about this cancellation, which left me stranded and frustrated. As a result, I had to reschedule for several weeks later. From the very beginning, the lack of communication was evident and set the tone for what was to come. When I finally did have my appointment, I went in with a specific concern: a tooth that was causing me a lot of pain. Instead of focusing on the issue at hand, I was immediately told I needed a root canal and crown. Although this seemed like a reasonable recommendation, they also insisted that I needed my wisdom teeth removed, even though I had not expressed any concerns about them and they were not the source of my pain. Instead of following standard dental protocols--where a general dentist would refer a patient to an endodontist for a root canal and an oral surgeon for wisdom teeth extraction--they insisted they could handle everything in-house. This is a major red flag. A dentist should know when it's appropriate to refer a patient to a specialist, especially when the patient is dealing with issues that require expert care. Endodontists are specially trained to perform root canals, and oral surgeons are experts in wisdom teeth extractions. Despite this, they pushed forward with the idea that they could handle everything. I trusted their judgment, but in hindsight, I should have sought a second opinion. After waiting an entire month for this appointment, I called twice to confirm that I only wanted the root canal and crown for the tooth causing me pain, specifically requesting not to have the wisdom teeth removed at that time. They assured me multiple times that my wishes were noted and that I would receive the treatment I had agreed to. But when the day came, I was abruptly informed that they did not accept my dental insurance and that I would need to have my wisdom teeth extracted elsewhere. The worst part? They didn't even acknowledge that the original reason I was there--the painful tooth needing a root canal--was still unresolved! It felt like they were more concerned with pushing extra treatments than actually addressing the reason I had sought care in the first place. Furthermore, my primary and secondary health insurance policies clearly state that necessary wisdom teeth extractions are covered. When I attempted to clarify this with the receptionist, she snapped at me as if she knew more about my insurance policies than I did--despite the fact that I had spent hours on the phone over the past month verifying exactly what was covered, under which policy, and what treatment was included. It's one thing to mismanage basic communication; it's another to completely disregard professional boundaries, patient care, and the ethical responsibility to make appropriate referrals. I've since reached out to several other dental offices in the area, and every single one has been shocked by the way Dr. Levi's office operates. The poor communication, lack of understanding of insurance policies, and refusal to refer me to the proper specialists has been nothing short of appalling. This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a medical provider. I strongly urge anyone considering this office to seek care elsewhere. This place is completely unfit for providing any kind of quality dental treatment. Avoid it at all costs.

The dentist in charge blamed me for her hygienist's inability to understand the fear and pain I was experiencing. The hygienist was speaking in a loud demeaning voice, which I later found out was the practice of this office, so that all other people, employees and patients, in the office heard what was going on in my visit. I explained that I wasn't numb but did not allow additional anesthesia due to the absolutely painful injections I'd already received. The 4 injections numbed my face, including my nose, cheek next to my nose, and my eye, but left my gums and tongue completely NOT numb. I told the hygienist I wasn't numb. This is when I felt the hygienist began a chastising tone with me, speaking very loudly. I called to speak to the dentist. She told me that I came to the office expecting a bad visit and that is what I got, a horrible experience. I actually prayed that all would go well, that I would be numb, and all would be fine. But that was not my experience. It's been more than 24 hours, and I'm still experiencing debilitating pain. And for my prize, I was given mouthwash that will stain my teeth, according to the paperwork, and an electric toothbrush. I would have rather had an experienced hygienist that was properly trained in calming the anxious patient.

As soon as you enter the doors of the office there is a coat rack and then as you enter the waiting area you are greeted by a mantle, sofa and chairs. There's a bowl of apples waiting for you and the tv is on. It feels like being at home. I really enjoy the technicians there especially Bree, she does a wonderful job making my teeth feel clean and healthy. Kneib Dentistry is above the learning curve as they use texting to confirm appointments and to send appointment reminders, I really wish more businesses would do this. All-in-all this is a great place to get your teeth taken care of.

So I planned to go back to my regular dentist for a second opinion. When I went back to her office for my next Invisalign, they put me in a chair and proceeded to try to "treat" my cavities. I said, you don't take my insurance, I'm here for Invisalign but was startled they tried to do that when I clearly told them I wasn't interested. By the way... 12 years later, still no cavities. My actual dentist laughed at the fact she said I had cavities. She also berated at least 2 staff members and embarrassed them in front of me to the point I felt ashamed for not stepping in and standing up for them.
