My shoulders, neck, and lower back were relieved by Dr. Banks. My hips are suffering from growing pains as I am nearly 5 months pregnant. He treated me gently and thoroughly. Not in the habit of reviewing medical providers, however today was good I felt compelled to post a 5 star review. Over did it at exercise which is par for me. The pain was so intense I immediately thought of chiropractic - this practice specifically. Today, I was fortunate enough to be seen, evaluated and treated by Dr. Andrew Smith. Or Dr. Andrew as he likes to be called. I have not been here in a while, had not seen - yet. What I can say is he is smart, thorough, compassionate, patient, great communicator and yes effective. Dr Lichter and his staff have got to be one of the best offices I have visited in a long time, where they make the patient feel very welcomed. The doctor shows much compassion as well as the staff and honestly gives you a true evaluation of what is to be expected from your visit on day one. That is rare! I believe I have found a diamond in the ruff...a gem. I visited other doctors and none gave me a "thorough " evaluation of my current condition. I've been a patient with Dr. Lichter since 1998 for chiropractic care. I've had a left shoulder injury for several months which wasn't healing quickly. I was having trouble raising my left hand over my head and driving with my left arm. There was moderate pain associated with the diminished range of motion. I had to restrict my workouts to a few exercises and very light weight. I was barely able to work out 3 days per week. The doctor told me about Soft Wave therapy as an option. After two sessions my range of motion was vastly increased, and my pain was nearly nonexistent. I was able to get back to the gym 6 days per week and resume a nearly typical workout schedule. I would highly recommend the Soft Wave as a possible alternative to surgery or physical therapy. read more

Dr. Lichter and his staff; Christine and Heather are such wonderful people! It feels like you're going to see family when you go in for your appointment. Dr. Lichter and the girls are very experienced very knowledgeable. They always make sure that I understand my progress, my treatments, and my exercises. They throughly explain everything so that I'm comfortable. I've had sever pain in my back, hip, and neck for a year. I've never had any injuries or been in any car accidents, kind of a freakish case with my lower back honestly. But the pain was So severe that I had to be hospitalized because I couldn't feel my legs. Dr. Lichter has given me a new life! I've been seeing him for about 6 weeks now and I'm so glad I found him! I never thought I could feel this great!! My pain is little to none on most days. I only have Dr. Lichter to thank. My experience with this Doctor and Front Desk Office Staff was less than favorable and professional. I contacted this office based on the positive reviews online when conducting my research. I was experiencing some unexplained back issues and made an appointment as a new patient. The front desk receptionist scheduled my appointment for 9:30am in the morning. She mentioned they open at this time, so I would be filing out paperwork for the first few minutes of my scheduled time, which I was fine with. At 9:40am I had completed the required paperwork and supplied my ID and Insurance Card. I was asked to be seated and would be called in a few minutes. Several other patients walked in, sat for a few minutes, and then were called to proceed to patient rooms. I sat there patiently hoping to be the next selected. However, no such luck. After about 30 minutes of waiting and watching others come in and out, I was finally called by a nurse. I proceeded to an exam room where i was asked a a series of questions, asked to change in patient clothing and wait for the Doctor. After about another 30 minutes of waiting for him, I went to the front desk and asked how long he would be. At this point I had waited over an hour and yet had not been seen by the Doctor. I waited a few minutes and decided to get dressed and leave. I felt this Doctor and Staff did not respect my time or me. I was there on time, clearly he did not feel he needed to honor his appointments. I am sure he would not have appreciated if I showed up over an hour later and disrupt his day. When he finally came into the room, I mentioned I had been waiting for over an hour and my appointment was 9:30am. His response, was that my appointment was not at 9:30am because they don't see patients this early. Really? So, I just showed up because i was bored? This was offensive and unprofessional on his part. A simple apology or explanation would have been appreciated. Clearly, either his front desk is incompetent or there is a lack of communication when they are scheduling appointments first thing in the morning for new patients, if the policy is not to do so. I made the decision to leave the office and not be treated by this Doctor. read more
