I was there for a sonogram and told her when I made my appointment no one said I should arrive 1/2 hour early! Makes no sense to me. My appointment is for 2:30, I arrive on time and I am told there are 4 people ahead of me and you want me there 1/2 hour earlier than my appointment?? The waiting room at this location is packed with mostly elderly people with a few nuts thrown in! I couldn't wait to get my test done and leave. One man is on his cell phone speaker yelling his conversation in the waiting room as if he's home. What is wrong with people?!? I notice a sign "shut cell phones" but clearly no one who works there says anything. As far as the test itself goes, it was quick and the girl who performed my sonogram was professional & polite.

The only thing I…read morethink that could use a little bit of improvement is the seating area as it is very small and there were a lot of people sitting there which made me a little uncomfortable given that Covid is still running rampant, but the people that performed my, necessary tests were nice. I wish I would've gotten their names. Other than that I would use this facility again in the future if necessary, but I would definitely wear a mask.

I arrived super early since this was my first visit to St. Joseph's Hospital - South. I'm more familiar with the St. Joe's Women's Hospital in Tampa. Fortunately, it was easy to find on Big Bend. There's plenty of parking since the outpatient facility is a building that is separate from the hospital. I walked in and noticed that the labs are to the left while imaging is to the right. I was greeted immediately, signed in, and then took a seat in the waiting area. They called my name and I stepped up to the registration area. It was all very simple. I gave them the script from the doctor. They asked me a couple of questions and then I was taken to a separate waiting area for mammography. The waiting area is comfortable and clean. I didn't have to wait too long for the technician to come out. She gave me a warm cape to change into, and then showed me how to use the dressing room lockers to lock up my personal items. Every single staff member was friendly and professional. It's one of the staff qualities I've seen in all BayCare facilities. They all seem to be happy and friendly. It's almost as if it's a requirement for employment. I love that! Anyway, it was all very efficient. My technician was so awesome! I wish I could remember her name. She was so thorough, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Well, as comfortable as a mammogram can be. LOL! She made me laugh, and made me feel so at ease. I would totally request her again if I could. I wouldn't hesitate to schedule another appointment here in the future. The entire process was flawless.

I had also considered switching from Women's Care of Tampa once I got my insurance again because they were closer to my new home. When I arrived, the way the facility was set up reminded me of the DMV. Once I figured out which waiting room I was supposed to wait in, the wait was relatively short. The bathroom that I was sent to to provide a urine sample seemed to be under construction. It was full of sealed cups for urine samples, but I was given an unsealed Dixie cup to leave my sample in. Then I was called back to find out the results of my pregnancy test and was told I wasn't pregnant. The practitioner actually asked me why I thought I was pregnant and looked at me crazy for being there. Needless to say I felt embarrassed that I could've ever thought I was pregnant and that I'd wasted their time. Fast forward to 4 months later, I went to Women's Care and got an ultrasound because my co-workers kept congratulating me on my pregnancy. Come to find out, I was in fact 6 months pregnant and not failing at my exercise routine after all. I was very confused as to why Suncoast Community Health Center couldn't determine that I was 2 months pregnant 4 months ago. I was also extremely disappointed with the shame that they made me feel for having the audacity to believe that I could be pregnant, especially when I was. I have never reviewed a healthcare facility before, but I wanted to let women know if you need to determine if you are pregnant or need healthcare in general, you should look somewhere else.

The operation was scheduled quickly and the healing process, although a bit tender, was just as Dr. Amshel had warned me about. He is a very good surgeon and I trust him. I had a problem that I was embarrassed about and he put me at ease, and for that I am grateful. I know that I am always going to have the potential for recurrence, but this time I won't wait so long to go and get it taken care of by Dr. Amshel.

I went to this…read morenew place when I got to Florida and they told me the Veneseal (which is glue in your vein to close it) had not taken hold and the vein had opened up. I had ultrasounds and sonograms with them and then we did the laser surgery on 3 of my 4 veins. I just had the 4th one done. I have been feeling so much better. They work with your insurance company to get approval. They have done sclerotherapy and treatment for spider veins, as well. I highly recommend them.

There is not message on their website as to why this is all happening. No message on voice mail to assure clients. When service and communication might happen. Just nothing. Service previous was fine but this lack of communication/customer service is alarming.
