Subject: Deep Gratitude for the Extraordinary Care and Excellence at St. Francis Hospital…read more To the Leadership, Medical Staff, and Team at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center, While no human organization is perfect, the care, professionalism, and atmosphere I experienced during my two-day stay this August touched true excellence. From the moment I stepped into the Emergency Room at 3:00 AM to my discharge two days later at 3:00 PM, I was continuously struck by the seamless coordination, dedication, and genuine warmth of every single person I encountered. I want to express my sincere appreciation to the executive leadership and management team. High standards begin at the top, and it is clear you have cultivated a culture of respect, humility, and foresight where staff members are well-supported, valued, and empowered to excel before they even have to ask. To the physicians and nursing staff, your technical knowledge, clear communication, and calm, polite demeanor brought immense comfort. You responded to every single call with the speed, skill, and reliability of a true miracle worker. At the same time, the environmental services and food operations teams performed every task with dignity and care, from room cleanliness to lunch service, bringing a cheerful presence and meticulous attention to detail that did not go unnoticed. What impressed me most was not just the efficiency, but the heart behind it. Every staff member moved with purpose, a smile, and deep respect for the patients in their care. You do not just perform jobs; you fulfill a higher calling. Thank you for your tireless dedication, your humility, and your unwavering commitment to human dignity. I encourage you all to continue setting these high goals and leading by example. Wishing the entire St. Francis family continued health, success, and well-deserved recognition. With deepest respect and gratitude, Rauf Butt

Boost Health And Wellness - They call this the red light therapy room but I'm pretty sure it's a multi-color light therapy, which is even better for you.

Boost Wellness Review: Roslyn, New York…read more As someone who used to frequent public contrast therapy spots back in Arizona, stepping into Boost Wellness in Roslyn felt like an entirely different league. My wife and mother-in-law gifted me sessions here for my birthday, and after seeing the setup, I immediately traded my initial package in for a monthly subscription. It's easily one of the best ways to spend a weekend. What sets this place apart immediately is the privacy and the quality of the equipment. Back in Arizona, cold plunging meant piling into shared, public tubs and cycling through communal saunas where everyone is on display. At Boost, you get your own private rooms. My go-to routine is the contrast therapy: * Round One: 20 minutes in the private infrared sauna, which comes loaded with bluetooth speakers so you can sync your phone and play a podcast or music, followed by 3 minutes in the cold plunge. * Round Two: 10 more minutes in the sauna, followed by another 3 minutes in the plunge while stretching out to get the blood flowing. While they do offer a cryo option, I much prefer their actual cold water plunge tubs. Afterwards, I head over for a 10-minute session in the red light therapy room. Unlike older setups I've used where the light panels are fixed far away, their multi-light therapy panels are on wheels. You can roll them right up close to get full-body exposure, and the room has a nice built-in breeze so you don't overheat. They also have top-tier compression therapy chairs that double as actual massage chairs--brand new, pristine, and incredibly comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the manager got me set up smoothly on a credit-based system. Contrast therapy runs you two credits since it covers both hot and cold cycles, and the monthly membership gives me 12 credits to play with--perfect for hitting three solid therapies once a weekend. At over 50, I'm doing this to stay strong, mobile, and young for as long as possible. Whether you're already dialed into the science popularized by Wim Hof or just starting to look into the longevity and recovery benefits of cold water and infrared therapy, Boost Wellness is unmatched. The facility is spotless, state-of-the-art, and worth every visit. Highly recommend.

There is an excellent range of wellness and recovery services, including contrast therapy, infrared sauna, full-body red light therapy, cold plunge, and cryotherapy. The infrared sauna is a particular favorite, and cryotherapy has become increasingly appreciated with each visit. Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is still on the list to try. What truly sets the Roslyn location apart is the staff. Everyone is kind, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely interested in making each visit a positive one. It is rare to find such a broad range of high-quality services offered in one place with this level of cleanliness, care, and professionalism. Highly recommend Boost Roslyn for anyone looking to support recovery, wellness, and overall well-being.

Took my 12 year old to this doctor, the doctor seemed at first to be very confident and…read moreknowledgeable...but of the 5 sessions we had with him, both he and his office were surprised at our (scheduled) arrival at his office..We were seen each time...... but others were either cancelled last minute or made to unexpectedly wait the entire length of our session to be seen.....I was kinda surprised since his fee was kinda expensive $600 first hour and $285 for 20 mins sessions....and he took no insurance...so I expected a business professional....after about 3 months of treatment ...a negative result with the medicine or dosage that Doctor prescribed occurred with my child...a phone call was made to him (he stated this is a problem he had seen before) and an appointment was given 1 week later.....I assigned No blame, medication is tricky..... at this appointment the doctor refused to discuss his treatment plans at any reasonable length.... or the reasons behind the negative results or future plans for treatment, he just cut off all medications and we were to follow his directions (well, we always had)...I agreed to follow all instructions, that is why I was paying him, but....when I nicely...and calmly...pressed to find out any plan or options for the future, the doctor became arrogant and inpatient, as if "how dare I question him"...I apologized and explained I assign no blame and my question were not a sign of my resistance recommendations...I just want and needed information ti insure my child's safety... he suggested If "I" was not satisfied I should go else where...well I explained I was confused by his reaction and that my satisfaction was not the issue, but I needed an explanation or plans for treatment....and additionally I wanted him to confer with the Physiologist my son was seeing.......the doctor got argumentative and stated "The other doctor will do his job and he would do his, there was no reason for their conferral" and I that had increased my sons medication, well I did, as we had previously discussed would be required in next session a few days later....AND spoke to him about it... the next day on the phone, he agreed completely with my assessment, stated the new increase would take about a week to take effect and then....few days later even increased the medication officially to this level permanently and told me to keep old medication so we could "tweet" the dose if necessary...The conferral was eventually agreed to when he was challenged on it, but his mindset was upsetting... In 46 years I have never had any such issues, with any other doctors..I am not sure if the doctor felt he had made an error and was at civil risk (which he was not) or his personality did not allow him to explain to a mere mortal, what he was thinking or maybe his cat died earlier in the day...I have NO idea..BUT I informed him, that previously I had been satisfied, but apparently he was not.....and for this reason I removed my child from his practice...I DO NOT RECOMMENDED HIM..SAD to say..He recommend 5 times during my respectful business like...attempt for information that ..I take my previously suicidal child, who was having MAJOR safety and impulse issues due to his prescribed treatment and... go elsewhere, because of his pride !!!..I had such high hopes and desire for desperately need help !!

I went there on my own no ambulance because of a gallbladder attack. I was triaged and received in quickly. I was promply given pain meds which I was thankful for due to the extreme pain. I was then given a sono within a few hours, then a few hours later a CT scan. All is well and good the nurses are awesome (a little loud in the early am when people are trying to sleep but its an ER sleep is a luxury not usually granted) and then the wait begins. waiting for an MRI for hours and hours only to be told maybe today. I went in around 930pm by 1130 had my sono 230 had my CT then at 1030 AM still in the hallway by the bathroom I decided to check out because even though I was admitted I was not getting a room anytime soon. I cant be left in a hallway like a bag of used linens. Great hospital maybe, my experience not so much and only due to lack of beds and I guess 1 MRI for the whole place. Does have great staff and doctors I think the place just needs another 600 beds at least.
