    Despite having sustained numerous sports injuries over the past 30+ years, I'd never had positive…read moreexperiences with physical therapy -- save one -- up until coming to Physical Therapy of the Rockies to see Dr. Amanda Dunn following a less common foot surgery with a recovery that was hampered by multiple healing setbacks before starting physical therapy. I arrived with little to no range of motion, and a jaded outlook as my attempts at avoiding surgery at a different PT clinic had epically failed and left me worse off. When I called to make my first appointment, I relayed my concerns -- and unlike the other clinics I called, I wasn't dismissed, but rather scheduled with the clinic director with more extensive experience and advanced certifications. To say that I've been pleased with the progress made entirely possible due to the hands-on treatment, customized therapy sessions, communication about at-home exercises, pain management and an understanding of the non-linear progress that is postoperative healing, is an understatement. Any hands-on doctor/patient care requires a healthy dose of trust; trust that is earned. Dr. Dunn and Physical Therapy of the Rockies have earned my trust. I don't plan on going anywhere else for my physical therapy care going forward.

Sooo refreshing their people, place and processes they have keep things humming, efficient and amazingly effective. They are head and shoulders above Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and am super impressed with the doctors and therapists there. Don't waste your time with SNFs--which are a waste of time and awful experience (bad food, light weight/non-existent therapy, poorly managed). If you are thinking of trying out this place, feel free to message me for more details, but they are the crème de la crème from what I have experienced thus far.

Man, I fly up and down the stairs right now thanks to the technique learned. Shhh, don't tell my therapist, but I do now take two steps at a time going down the stairs. From the medical staff to the therapists, the team was A+++. There seems to be a culture of service at the company that carries through everyone. I'm missing all of these people asking me how everything is going and if I need anything at home. I may even have to admit I enjoyed the 7:00 am therapy sessions (I'm not a morning person). Only observation was that as a diabetic the food was a tiny bit challenging. The team however was always ready to replace a dish if needed.

Both women are incredibly talented therapists who put their patients at ease by ensuring their clients feel safe, seen, and heard at all times throughout the course of your treatment. They genuinely care about improving your quality of life, and it's clearly apparent their field of work is their passion, not just another paycheck. The exercises and explanations provided thus far have helped a tremendous amount and have reinstated a sense of confidence in what my body and mind are capable of achieving. I feel so fortunate to have a found a clinic that's not only located close to home but also has free, ample parking available near the entrance. Even the front desk personnel are pleasant, helpful and efficient, when it comes to scheduling and billing services. Strongly recommend this clinic and its staff for all of your health needs!

Peak PT is just an unbelievable knowlegeable and compassionate group. This review pertains to the Hale Parkway location. I again had shoulder pain 4 weeks after a cortisone shot rendered me pain free. Dr. Parker, my orthopedic, gave me the option of one more cortisone shot and then surgery-- or PT. When I started, I was barely swimming 50 m freestyle as my shoulder could not withstand impingement after my surgery of 8 years ago. A combination of 20 min massages by Steve, combined with some needling (Jennifer) and cupping plus creative bands and balance workouts crafted by Beth, Aaron, Connor, and Taylor, all of whom devised exercises to not only strengthen my shoulder but also to work on balance. Not only have I increased my swimming from barely 1000 m to 2000 m+; I can also now just hop up onto the starter blocks -- no wobble just solid footing--strong starts (gone the fear of DQ from perhaps falling in!). I worked with this group for 4 months - twice a week - the result was just outstanding. Not only was the PT effective, but so much fun -- I really miss PT --how many reviews state that! Back to swimming - just a dream to be back swimming freestyle and butterfly pain free! Monique, the receptionist, is also just a delight -- so on top of things -- with her smile and friendly reminders! Heartfelt thanks to my PT team. rkkjr
