Andrew and the entire team here is amazing! I had multiple symptoms to address- lower back pain, glute weakness, and ankle/foot pain. I love that you have an option to do an hour session- which is ideal to focus on multiple areas. They don't take insurance but can help with sending you super bills to submit to insurance if you have out of network benefits. There are also options to for payment plans or to spread out payments. It can get pricey, but it is an investment to your health and well-being, which is worth every penny! They have a holistic approach and target the treatment to individual needs. In my experience most places that take traditional insurance do not have the same philosophy and can only focus on one target area. I am overweight and never felt shamed or told to lose weight at anytime. I have not always had the same experience with other providers, so it was refreshing. Andrew got to the root cause of my symptoms and provided me with stretches and exercises to help alleviate pain and improve my workout goals. I am able to squat lower and lift heavier than I ever have before. My endurance for walking and day to day activities has improved greatly as well. I recently got an amazing Black Friday deal which included a massage, stretch session, and personal training. Alex's prenatal massage was amazingly relaxing. It felt good to get a stretch in with Sam, although I feel like this would have been more effective if I wasn't pregnant (a bit hard to maneuver to various positions). Finally, I had physical therapy and personal training sessions with Lauren who does pelvic floor PT. While the physical therapy was pricey (and I wish I could afford additional appts!), both of these sessions really helped with my pelvic pain! She helped with providing exercises to do at home which I hope will continue to improve my prenatal pelvic issues. Plus, her dog Gio is the cutest and gives free kisses. I had kind of a weird experience here. I spent a lot of time on their onboarding process, which had a very heavy sales pitch feel - they asked me probably in a dozen different ways to envision what my life would be like if I successfully completed PT. Only after investing a couple hours of my life did I finally discover that their sessions cost way more than I expected and they don't take insurance. (They offer help filing out of network claims, but my out of network deductible is astronomical.) I told the PT I needed to discuss with my husband before committing to spend upwards of $1,000 and she kept using sales techniques while I was texting him (asking questions like "what are his objections?") I'm sure they are great PTs but the hard sell left me feeling pretty uncomfortable. read more

Based on my experience with Jamie Bovay at KinetikChain, I would highly recommend him. I was in constant knee pain for several months and had been seeing another chiropractor/physical therapist whom I felt was throwing darts at my knee issue. Each week the diagnosis was something new and I was extremely frustrated. After speaking with Jamie, I decided to make the trek to see him. At the first visit, Jamie provided a lot of information about what was going on and started to develop a plan, including benchmarks to measure improvements over the weeks. He was reassuring and transparent about everything he was doing, including the dry needling. Each visit Jamie measured my progress and pushed me to try new things. My knee pain subsided and my leg strengthen. With the knowledge I gained from Jamie, I am confident about continuing to push and challenge myself in the gym and on the mountains. In fact, I recently completed a 108 floor stair climbing event with no knee pain, cutting 2 minutes off my previous time. I believe this is totally due to my work with Jamie.
