I needed to get a screen replaced on my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE after a drop accident that shattered the screen. I talked to a lot of cell places around and visited a few of them. I remembered this shop in my local Walmart and talked with them. They are very knowledgeable and knew the phone. Since it is an older phone they had to order the screen/bezel assemble. Initial price quote was higher than others. I mentioned that a shop in Dallas was about $50 less and they priced matched. Took 2 days to get the screen/bezel. Came over on a Saturday to get the screen replaced and took 1 hour and 20 mins to complete the repair. Phone works great and looks like new again. We brought our mac on Wednesday morning to get an estimate for fixing an issue with the screen, they claimed they need to keep it till next day in order to locate the problem and quote us, we called on thursday to check status and they quoted us same pricing like Apple store so we decided just to take the mac to apple, we told the technician we will come pick the mac on friday morning, They open at 11am so we arrived at 12pm and surprisingly they claimed our mac is not at the store! "Simple screen repair gone horribly wrong" Prior to my visit this past week, I had gone to this location three times over the past 5 years or so, with no problems. However, while I was waiting this time, a customer told me to check my phone out before I leave. I assuaged her saying I have never had any problems before. As soon as I left, my screen started shutting off. The gentleman working didn't close shop and attempted to fix the problem. The next day, I couldn't speak on my phone unless it was on speaker. I go and get that problem fixed. Later that day my camera on my screen will not work. The bottom line is, if your screen is cracked on any of your devices, DO NOT GO TO DRPHONEFIX AT WALMART ON COIT AND GEORGE BUSH IN PLANO!! YOUR DEVICE IS BETTER OFF CRACKED!!!!!! I had no problems with my phone, other than the screen, until I visited DRPHONEFIX. You will have far more problems and they will attempt to say your phone was damaged. Then I proved that my phone was completely fine, other than my screen, prior to my visit. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It must be new ownership because the manager, GOPDI is rude and inept at his job, nor does he do anything well but deflect. INCOMPETENT/MISMANAGED or DEFRAUDING/SCAMMING? Took my phone in for a screen replacement. They ordered the wrong part & then tried to blame it on me. Thankfully, their documentation and my receipt showed it was their error. They called me twice on the way home to ask for the right model number, which I already gave them and they already had. They told me, no, the correct number was incorrect after we'd just confirmed 10 minutes ago at the store that it was right. Maybe this is a tactic used on less savvy people to intimidate them and make them feel like it's their fault. I again confirm what we all know. They ordered the wrong part. Two hours later they tell me the cost of the job is going up a significant amount as the other part is more expensive. A quick search reveals they can be ordered for a similar price and not the excess they were wanting to charge. Were they unwilling to eat the cost of their own mistake and pass it on to me? Who knows. I tell them no. I'm returning for a refund. I'll let it go. The individual at the front stalls for 5 minutes with no one else in the shop texting on her phone (to I assume the boss) before helping me and telling me the refund was processed and will show up on my card. I say great. I'd like a receipt for proof of it. They can't print a copy. I tell them to take a picture with their phone. The individual then calls on their coworker and explains the situation. The coworker quickly looks at it and says they cant print a receipt for my card because I actually wasn't issued a refund. Did the employee lie to me to defraud me, or is the company so poorly run that refunds aren't an option on credit cards and they can't be honest with their customers? Upon further inspection, they discover the refund button was disabled for my order. They asked me to return later when the boss was out of his meetings. I refused to leave until I got my money back so they eventually give me cash. USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK. I do not blame the lady or gentleman they have working there. The store is at best incompetent, unprofessional, and disorganized with a broken system for processing orders and a lack attention to detail that their employees have to suffer through. At worst, they lied and tried to defraud me instead of being responsible and honest. If all of this was innocent and just a series of unfortunate events, why wasn't I given an honest assessment? Terrible Service. The staff was rude, did not fix my son's phone properly, we told him to check everything wrong with the phone and they told us it was going to cost $100 to have it all fixed. Today we went to pick it up and the screen was blackened in the corner, the owner said that it was because the motherboard was broken in the corners. We questioned him as of why he didn't tell us that before and why didn't fix it, his answer was "It still has the same value in market if you trade it" "I'll pay $20 for it". Are you kidding me? I saw an ad from FB Market Place of iPhone 6 repair for $40 + free glass screen protector when call to make an appointment. I made an appointment but then ran late due to kid got out of class late. I notified and the shop was ok with me being late. Met technician named Kris upon arrival. He took a few a few of my info down and proceeded with the repair. Even tho I was told it'd take 20 minutes but it took less. The only thing was the shop ran out of the clear screen protector. Kris offered the privacy one or come back the next day but I declined. I wish there was a way to give zero stars as a rating. I am a bit disappointed to be leaving this review as I replaced a cracked screen with them once and was very satisfied with the service. However, I recently took in the same phone (an iphone 6s) to have the screen repaired but when it was finished the home button no longer worked when the phone was locked and the touchid didn't work either. This wouldn't have been that much of an issue as I understand that mistakes happen, but when I went in to have the problem rectified I had to speak with Shaun, the owner of the store, and ended up arguing with him for over two hours. He had his technician replace the screen again, but even after that the problem wasn't resolved. He then wouldn't admit that the damage occurred while the phone was in their care. What was possibly most frustrating was that he kept leaving to talk to new customers or make/answer a phone call rather than giving me his full attention. What should have taken thirty minutes ended up taking nearly three hours. After he said he couldn't do anything other than replace the home button (which wasn't guaranteed to fix the problem and would certainly mean the touch id wouldn't work anymore) I asked him for a refund of the initial repair, seeing as how the phone operated just fine before the repair and now, after the repair, wasn't operating correctly. He stated that it was impossible to give a refund as it was against company policy, even though he is the owner. After more arguing, he finally relented to give a refund after another customer walked into the store (so now he can give a refund?). However, then he claimed he didn't know how to give a refund through his point of sale system, so he spent another 15 minutes looking around on his computer and calling tech support to figure out how to give a refund before telling me that he would no longer serve me at his store (no worries there). Overall, it was a terrible experience and a terrible way to give customer service. I can't believe that Shaun apparently owns 47 stores (or so he told me). I wouldn't recommend that anyone take any of their devices to this store as not only can they not repair a phone correctly, they also can't admit a mistake. Again, I wish I could give this place zero stars. Almost three hours wasted and the phone still doesn't work properly. I haven't seen the refund show on my credit card yet either, so we will see about that. read more

I ask to replace the keyboard on the laptop. They replace a so-called keyboard purchased from ebay with very ugly scratched on it. They do not check the brand new keyboard before replacing to my laptop. I told them to handle this ugly keyboard. They said they will contact the store on ebay and promised me the store will replace a new one. They promised to call me later. Two weeks later, I haven't received any call from Dr. Phone Fix & Repair. Since I already paid them in full, they never care about you. Two weeks later, I called them again to ask the status. They just said the ebay store said they cannot do anything for it. Are you kidding? If the keyboard is indeed ordered from ebay store with some reputation, it should not do that. I really doubt whether the staff has indeed contact ebay store. Or whether the staff just use a old keyboard with ugly scratch to replace my original keyboard, and ask me 65 dollars to purchase a ugly old keyboard. I am seriously doubt this store does some manipulation on the positive reviews posted, because I chose this store to trust this store due to the positive reviews from Google Review. Updates: I ask the staff to send the ebay store link and found the price is just 13 dollars. But he previously told me the keyboard is 45 dollars, and then ask 20 dollars for replacement fee.
