Mind you, I wasn't moving a muscle because at this point I was already terrified of him and his temper. When he saw that silent tear come down my cheek he flew into a rage. After, he turned to the kid in the chair next to me, who was also a classmate of mine at the time, and said, "can you believe what a little baby she's being? I bet you'll behave like a big boy." Just sick and creepy. My parents confronted him and he yelled at them that I was "being a baby and nothing hurt so it wasn't appropriate for me to cry". Thankfully my mom insisted on being in the room for future appointments and we eventually left because he couldn't control his vitriol. If you hate kids, you can choose not to treat them? This guy loves money too much to take that option, I guess. My siblings and I all have had to get corrective surgery due to his poor treatments, and he once tried to bully my parents into putting my sister in braces for 2+ years (and thousands of dollars) to fix a slightly misaligned tooth in the back of her mouth, which could neither be seen, nor had any negative impact on her, otherwise. I had buried this trauma, until I saw he sponsored a little league team in my new town, having moved an hour away from his original office, I was shocked that he still has a license, let alone has been able to expand. Truly terrifying. He should not be around children.

If you look at their website, they give a bio on everyone from reception to hygienists to Dr. Suditu himself. So cool! I actually look forward to seeing the staff and Theresa, the dental assistant, is particularly great to talk to. She makes you feel immediately comfortable as if you're about to share a bottle of wine rather than get dental work done. Finally, a note on painless dentistry. Dr. Suditu is particularly careful to explain exactly what is going on from anesthesia (he expertly administers the shot so that you barely feel it) to the procedure itself. They have two locations: one in Highland NY and one in Poughkeepsie, NY. Both offices have similar hours, they are closed on Wednesdays and close around 2 PM on Fridays. Thursday is the day that they stay open late, until 7 PM. The staff is very friendly and personable. The dentists are very accommodating. For example, in order to get numb, I need a higher dosage than most people. At first Dr. Lina did not believe me, but she quickly understood and gave me an appropriate dosage. They also will tell you ahead of time if what you require is outside their scope, and they can give you referrals when possible. They listen to your concerns and double check everything to make sure your teeth and gum are healthy. They also send reminders for cleanings and check-ups in the mail and via text. Overall, I am very impressed with this office and would recommend them.
