I am saddened to post this review... Dr Sams office seemed to go downhill ever since there has been staff changes with the front office. When we first started going to his office when we moved to this area... the front desk was amazing, made our family of 5 feel welcomed, reminded us during the initial appointment that it is very important for us to be on time and not cancel appointments last minute since it is a large block for 5 patients. We have always been early, never canceled last minute, and if we needed to reschedule our appointment... I made sure to give a notice in advance (weeks in advance) so they can fill our block and we don't leave them high and dry. They even called me to reschedule once and made it quite the ordeal to reschedule. It's been a bad experience scheduling our appointments ever since the new girl up front took over. Because of those reasons we will be going elsewhere. It's sad because we loved our hygienists, assistants, and dr Sam. But if we can't comfortably schedule appointments for our family when we have never missed or canceled appointments last minute... we won't be continuing our dental care here. It feels that the office schedulers convenience is most important, not the patients convenience to get our family in for business annual cleanings. read more

Today i went to Dr Sams office. i was a mess. i needed a dental implant i had broken fixed. Dr Sam was so busy and had no openings .but he took the time to help me, he could see i was so distraught. he didnt have too but he did. it was my own fault my tooth got broken but it didnt help my anxiety and well being. He and one of his assistants, Angie,love that girl helped me. she was the assistant when i got the dental implants and knows how i am. Dr.Sam was so kind and didnt make me feel that i was a burden but made me feel like a valued patient of his. I hope that if you need a dentist you will give them a call for they are the very best. Worst technician ever works, there name Alliscia/Allisson(?). She up sales night guards to the tune of more than 300 then slams it on your bill, with you being unaware of the charge. She lies and says she bills, then she says billing is done elsewhere. She overcharges your insurance right off the bat, by not submitting a plan to the dental insurance upfront, so you know what true charges are. This woman has absolutely no empathy, and should be terminated or taught extensively on how to get along with paying customers. Also on the mouth guards, she says "she" will not guarantee any work, crowns, etc, unless you buy night guard, even though it interferes with CPAP machines, and other forms of care related to CPAPs and TMJ. Let's see I came in to get a tooth capped. They grounded down the wrong tooth. Then my wife' s kidneys shut down due to sepsis. They said that her being SICU in Wilson N Jones was not a good reason to reschedule my appointment. I wish that I could give them no stars. read more

It has taken me two weeks to write this unemotional review. I had an appointment for cavity repair and an hour later, a deep clean treatment of my gums. I arrived on time. I waited an hour and 15 minutes for Dr. Sam to show up in my procedure room. I will admit, I confronted him on his lateness, my wait time and anxiety about my procedure with no update about his lateness while waiting. He gave me multiple shots to numb my area and then left for another 45 minutes. Upon his return, I complained that I was not yet completely numb. He gave me an additional 2 shots and left again for over 15 minutes. After his return, the cavity repair procedure began. It was difficult for me due to having arthritis in my neck and the position I needed to be in. At the end, I had been there for this procedure for almost 3 hours and was very uncomfortable and sore. I stated that I did not feel I could then undergo the periodontal deep clean and asked to reschedule ( I was now 2 hours past that appointment due to the wait time for the cavity). It was then that Dr. Sam told me, "I still have to pay for my hygienist. Or would you like to?" I was so floored by his lack of compassion, unprofessional comment about payment and dismissal of my current physical state as told to him by me. My lateness for this procedure was not my fault. It was his tardiness and subsequent delay in numbing. I of course agreed to the next treatment. The hygienist was empathetic and compassionate. I was crying at this point and made it clear I was upset and physically hurting. She vowed to work quickly and did but needed to give me several liticane injections for sensitivity. She was a professional. I will not be returning. read more
