This is my go to since it's so convenient and down the street from where I live. The lab wait is never that long so I suggest you come here if you don't want to wait for a while. It's really clean and modern. They have internal medicine here an ophthalmology. They don't have urgent care here, but it's good to come here to get the things that they do have for care. Good Pharmacy and Phlebotomists!! I recommend this Kaiser for sure even though my primary care is not at this location. -Marshay D,

I had made an appointment due to severe chronic muscle pain throughout my body. His condescending attitude and terrible bed side manner along with his misdiagnosis of depression and he actually stated it was because i did not want a covid vaccination! After that visit i decided to leave that doctor and went to Woodland Hills Kaiser where wonderful doctors correctly diagnosed my condition and really helped me and listened to my concerns.

I was in and out in less than an hour. Seems many are there for drug tests. I was there due to strep. I didn't feel like the doctor was very attentive - kinda matter of fact and brief. I had to ask him for a prescription- he didn't want to give me meds. I was literally in so much discomfort...he said it wasn't strep- Ran the test- I have had strep before and knew that was a wrong diagnosis. I took the meds I asked for and I was fine- not really any thanks to this place. Basically I was grateful that he gave me a prescription because he didn't do much else.

There was maybe 2 other people ahead of me. Waited about a hour before I got called in to a room. Waited close to 2 hours while in the room for a total wait of 3 hours. I expected it to be slow based off reviews and I was okay with that. Finally, an Asian doctor finally came in and was so rude to me. She threatened me that if I didn't do as she said she would fail my physical. She literally would give me a second to react. She made me feel so stupid and would tell me incorrect things when little did she know I knew what she was doing since I'm in the healthcare profession too. 2nd time: Needed a TB test done but could only go after work and they were the only option. Everything was fine till I needed to get the test read. The staff looked at my arm and questioned if I have a positive test. I told her it's always a little red but there's never any bump or issues. She got a second opinion and I got cleared, no biggie. The problem began when she couldn't find my paperwork to clear me. Are you kidding? You would think reading a TB test would be quick, but no, I had to waste my night here waiting. She tried to tell me she would send the results to my job, which was a cop out to get me off her hands in the mean time. Ended up waiting 45+ minutes for her to "look". She came off as if it was a honor for her to look for my paperwork to clear me. BS place, will never be back.

I've spent enough time in hospitals over the years to know that kindness can sometimes feel like a limited resource. Walking into West Hills Hospital, I honestly expected good medical care. What I didn't expect was to meet one of the most compassionate, respectful, and genuinely invested medical teams I've ever encountered. Dr. Namavar, the nurses, the social workers--every single person we met treated not only our family, but our loved one struggling with addiction, with a level of dignity and respect that frankly brought us to tears. Addiction carries so much stigma, yet not once did anyone make him feel like "just another addict." They saw a human being. That matters more than words can express. Our family had a very specific plan to safely transition him from the hospital directly into a rehabilitation facility. Every concern we had was heard. Every request was taken seriously. The team coordinated with the rehabilitation center, communicated with us every step of the way, and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Instead of making us feel like difficult family members, they made us feel like partners in his care. Then there was Dr. Namavar. I've met a lot of physicians. I've never met one quite like him. He sat down--not because he had to, but because he wanted to--and shared his own personal experiences with loss and drug overdoses. He wasn't reading from a script or giving a lecture. He was connecting with another human being. You could actually see the walls come down in the room. It was one of the most genuine moments I've ever witnessed between a physician and a patient. To the nurses: thank you for treating us like family. To the social workers: thank you for fighting just as hard for the next step as you did for the one we were in. To Dr. Namavar: thank you for reminding us that medicine is as much about the heart as it is about science. And finally... this is probably the weirdest compliment I've ever written, but if life ever decides to throw another medical emergency my way, I sincerely hope it has the courtesy to happen somewhere near West Hills Hospital. That's how much confidence you've given me. You didn't just care for a patient. You cared for an entire family. Thank you for giving us hope when we needed it most.

Venue 4 stars: They share a 3 story building with Facey Medical, a bunch of smaller medical offices and a pharmacy. UCLA Health occupies the entire 3rd floor, which is accessed by elevators. Staff 4 stars: Professional, friendly, efficient and helpful. Services 2 stars: They used to be a full-service one stop destination for a routine medical visit. However, as of recently they have permanently shut down their on-site lab, and now you have to go to a different UCLA location for lab work such as blood count, etc. This essentially doubles your effort for the same outcome! I'd like to quote my fellow Yelper Francis L on this: "It's like if your bagel shop said, we don't carry cream cheese any more, you are gonna have to drive an hour to our sister store to get the cream cheese." :D I am still at a loss why they did this... The lab was always very busy whenever I was there. Appointments 2 stars: Some physicians, usually the better rated ones ;), do not accept new patients. Also, getting a routine appointment can take months. The physician however will usually try to accommodate if you are an existing patient and have an urgent need. They also do Tele-Health. Billing 4 stars: They accept Medicare/Medi-Cal and most PPO insurance plans. The Bottom Line 3 stars: Would have been a 4, but the lack of an on site lab brings it down a notch. Still the most convenient option for me.

My total was about $150 (the office visit is $75 and the influenza + covid test was an additional $70) but the tests were rapid tests you can get at CVS but hey, they don't take insurance so I don't mind that too much. ALSO keep in mind they do not take ANY insurance, I didn't know that before I came in, I just thought they had a flat fee for folks who don't have any. What I did mind was when I called back today, I needed an accommodation letter or note for my job so they have documentation that allows me to work from home and whoever answered was quite rude (a male that wasn't the receiptionist woman I had seen before and also wasn't Dr. Gluzman). The itemized receipt was also... interesting & I'm just hoping my HSA doesn't put a hold on my account because of it. What's also interesting was some of the political commentary on Biden & queer folks that seemed unnecessary (I'm a lesbian so it probably bothered me more than it would others but I'm also good at ignoring stuff like this lol) but other than that they were kind and got me in & out. Unfortunately I did test positive for COVID but at least this Dr. even thought to test me for that, the last urgent care doctor didn't even think to do that.

What impressed me the most was that they did not rush the process despite the high patient volume. They made sure I received the proper evaluation and testing, while also explaining everything clearly so that I could fully understand what was happening and feel confident about the care I was receiving. Nurse Michael Scott, though he did not introduce himself, overheard the conversation and provided his insight. Did I get the information that I needed, yes. If this was a gas station that would be totally acceptable. I am a mother who is concerned for the well-being of her son, scared, deprived of sleep because our regular pediatrician is closed on the weekend. What I expected was the basic, kindness and warmth most doctors give, especially when a child is involved Instead, Nurse Scott was rude, short & condescending. If I knew how to correctly diagnose my son I would not be seeking help from professionals. What might seem to be basic information to you Nurse Scott may not be for the general public- so the snub attitude was unnecessary. Thankfully my son was out of earshot when you started to talk about anal sex and how that could likely be a reason for what I thought was going on with my 4 year old son. Lastly, it's about 9am Sunday June 28th 2026, you all have been open for an hour now. I hope by now you have warmed up and the next patients that come in do not have the same experience that I had. I pray that whatever you saw in us that was undeserving of an introduction of a doctor, understanding, empathy & patience changes.
