I went to Valley Urgent Care for a thumb injury that required stitches. While I was seen quickly due to it being rather empty, the overall quality of care was disappointing and felt unprofessional. After the practitioner finished stitching my thumb, 9 stitches for $330, a total of $460. The medical attendant assigned to clean the wound did not do a thorough job leaving blood all over my hand and thick curdled blood near my wound. I was also told that stitch removal would cost $30. I was only informed to keep water away from my hand by the practitioner and was supplied with gauze and bandages from the attendant that was supposed to clean my wound. The only other info i got was when i was asked. For example i asked if its okay to use Neosporin when changing my bandage. Nothing was said to me about needing to do anything else. For the next 10 days until my revisit i slowly cleaned closer to my wound. Ten days later, I returned as instructed by the doctor to have the stitches removed. This time, a different practitioner (she was great) treated me and questioned why non-absorbable stitches had been used in the first place, suggesting that absorbable stitches could have avoided the need for a return visit altogether. The practitioner also noticed that my wound did not heal correctly because it was not properly cleaned. And a lot of the time during the visit i was waiting for my wound to soak so it could be cleaned because the skin hardened. Since I don't have insurance, my return visit cost $130. Having to spend another $130 for something that could have been avoided is rather disappointing. There is obvious inconsistencies in their pricing, since the fee for stitch removal changed from the intial price disclosed. I told the front desk that this is pretty messed up that I have to pay full price for something that i could have avoided, not only was my time wasted but also my money. I guess as a way to say sorry they waived the $10 stitch removal fee (Yay!). Unfortunately, that fee waiver didn't change my overall experience. The inconsistent pricing, questionable treatment decisions, and lack of professionalism left me feeling disappointed. Based on my experience, I would hesitate to return or recommend Valley Urgent Care to others. read more

Money sucking scum bags. I came here for TB test to volunteer at school. I called to let them know I was going to be coming to check my arm for test results. Showed up and they tell me I'm too late by 20 min and want me to pay for another test. F them Why tf did you tell me to head over? TWENTY MINUTES. Update: school nurse called them to tell them they can check up to 96 hours and 20 minutes late of the 72 hour mark shouldn't make a difference. Felt like the doctor was rushing and instead of explaining her diagnosis to me she made me search about an explanation on youtube instead, staff during check in were also gossiping loudly about a customer that called them, only the nurse that checked my bp seemed professional with patients. Overall just felt like i paid $130 to search something on my phone instead of an actual doctor consultation. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST -- might as well work at the DMV with that type of attitude. It was my first time coming to this clinic with my husband, and the young lady with brown hair wearing glasses gave him attitude the moment we walked in. Instead of welcoming him, she made no eye contact, kept staring at her computer screen, and loudly asked, "WHAT ARE YOU HERE FOR?"--in front of everyone in the waiting room. First of all, that is no way to speak to a patient, especially a new one. How can you expect patients to return with that kind of attitude? I understand everyone has bad days, but as a front desk representative, it is your job to greet and welcome patients--especially those who may already feel uncomfortable discussing their health concerns in public. As a receptionist, you are the first point of contact and set the tone for the entire office. After that, we sat down to wait. Instead of calling us up to receive face masks, she simply held them up in the air and waved for us to come get them while remaining seated, without even addressing us directly. I also noticed, while waiting, that the girl with brown hair seemed very selective about which patients she greeted and which ones she gave attitude towards. What really upset and disappointed me was hearing the young lady with black hair, also wearing glasses, speaking badly about another female nurse who works with them to her coworker (the same brown-haired receptionist). **She had a stitch FUNKO POP ON HER DESK JUST TO BE SPECIFIC. It is extremely unprofessional to talk negatively about another employee in front of patients. It makes me wonder if they speak that same way about patients while they are in the exam rooms. read more

My daughter had strep throat and brought her to this urgent care. They are very well organized, the lady at the front desk was kind and helpful. They took care of us in a timely manner, the nurse was effective too and the doctor explained everything in detail, and he was very friendly with my 9 year old. Overall a very good experience with this facility and the staff. The office was clean, and there is a parking lot in the back of the building. read more

They follow the healthcare guidelines. Front desk and nurses are sub par. Front desk may require additional training on professionalism. They lack eye contact and speaking with empathy. Once checked in and they have your payment, next phase with the nurses and providers are a lot better. read more

In the last year, I have been here two times. Each time. I've had an awesome experience. The wait is not long. The front desk, Mai, is really nice. The nurse, Alfredo, that did my tests, was so nice as well. The doctor I saw today, Dr. Eshaghian, is really nice and explained everything well. He is patient and answered all my questions. ive been here once before so get a weird skin rash checked out. thought id go here again to get a refill on trazadone which ive been prescribed as a sleeping aid. I got a call saying they cant prescribe this medication because its an "antidepressant". I was prescribed this by an NP half a year ago. My DOG gets this during the 4th of july to help calm her down during fireworks. I replied asking "so if i came in with sleeping issues, this dr, or whatever he is- cant or wont prescribe me trazadone? Front desk is clueless and just repeatedly said "we cant prescribe that medicine here". this place is beyond useless if they cant even prescribe something like trazadone but will gladly inject you with the covid jab lmao. read more

I came in as this was close to my home having a cough. I had PPO insurance and was told at the front desk all I needed was to do a $35 copay which I paid. As I was waiting, the provider came in and assessed me where I was given a covid test and apparently another virus culture. I was negative for everything and all seemed fine. Fast forward two months and now I have a bill for $240 for a laboratory fee that wasn't covered by the visit. I called my insurance and they said that the provider is supposed to inform me of the charges if they send cultures out to a lab, but no one ever told me anything. I came in for a cough, and they should have told me prior whether or not I consented to something like this. I called their front desk and they gave me a number to call, to which I left a message with no response or follow-up. I would appreciate it next time to give me a heads up before I'm stuck with a bill that I am going to take installment payments to pay off. read more

Shady is an understatement they force you to take a covid test even though I did one at home before arriving. And you must leave your card on file for a charge up to $250 in case your insurance doesn't cover. Do not recommend! Run away from this place. This place is super shady! They wanted me to leave a credit card on file in case any other mysterious charges appear. Also, in this contract you sign for this auto authorization. It talks about a something about $250. They also make everyone wear a mask however they perform the Covid test inside the waiting room and then make the patient. Wait outside if they have any signs of Covid. read more

Been having a high fever for 3 days with intense body aches and sore throat. Even though the tests that were taken came back negative, the provider trusted his guts and treated me appropriately and I instantly felt better after I was given a shot for inflammation within 30mins to an hour and I was sent home with meds as well. Even my fiancé said I looked better and I was in much better spirits. The staff were also very caring and empathetic towards me. Thank you guys very much. read more

I just have to say, in my experience - THIS IS THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've come across in a while! There is HUMANS work here! They CARE, they won't rush you or brush you off. Needed to go to an urgent care since I was throwing up and had a headache that wouldn't go away. I got there at 8:10 and ended up leaving at 10:40, there was only one person there before me. Even had to leave the patient room to go find the nurse since she left me waiting for over 30 minutes. All I got was a covid and flu test. She prescribed me some meds so I show up to the pharmacy and they say there is not signature and it is invalid. Turns out the NP signed the wrong place on the paper! I am giving two stars only because the girl at the front was very nice and helped me out with some stuff. Don't go here if you have other options read more

Great location. Very clean, front desk people were really nice and helped me get everything situated being a new patient. They immediately tested me for Covid, negative thank goodness. I didn't have to wait long thankfully there were only 2 people ahead of me. When i got into the room, the nurse took my vitals went over my symptoms and medical history. The dr came and i feel he already knew what was wrong with me lol. It was sinusitis. He taught me how to drain my sinuses at home and requested i did it a few times throughout the day. He prescribed me antibiotics and a medication for my dry cough. I just feel relieved knowing I'm going to be better in a few days. Great facility and staff, i do recommend this place. Let me start off by saying that valley urgent care does have its drawbacks and I've had issues with them previously but one thing has been 100% in all my visits. Din is one of the guys at the front and there are three things he has that sets you up for a great experience. 1- He is extremely helpful 2- Tries his best to be accommodating 3- efficient Add them together and when I get in the room I am not stressed and I'm feeling good. We all know how it is to be at a Dr office. It's not like any of us want to be there but to have someone treat you so good right when you walk in... i think most businesses don't understand it's that first person you talk to or interact with that sets the tone for the entire rest of your time/visit. I came into this urgent care to have my left middle finger examined because it had swelled overnight and was seen by PA Rebecca Zaghi. She immediately prescribed me with broad spectrum antibiotics since we had no idea what type of infection it may result since I had came into contact with an ill patient at work the day before and apparently had some bacteria enter from an open cuticle! Front desk Clerks were great but the two that are suppose to test are no that bright ... i would let them near me with a cotton ball much less a swab. No wonder there was no wait. Getting appointment for COVID test was a bit tricky, but after that, actual test (less than 1 minute with no wait) and SUPER fast turn around. Took test around 7pm, received results before 11am the next day via email. PCR test good for travel, school, or wherever COVID test is required. read more

I came today around 4 PM because I was having horrible kidney pain. The wait was not too long about 20 minutes and I saw the PA Vanessa. She was very nice and answered all my questions. She gave me a prescription for antibiotics and told me they would follow up with me on Friday. Everyone is always so nice here, from the front office staff to the Dr's. They care more and spend a decent time Ruth you better than my primary care physician diss. This is why it's the only urgent care I go to. read more

this used to be my go too. took my son yesterday had major sinus issues and instead of feeling his sinuses areas told my son it's prob just common cold and to chug water and working out.. which he do until he puked! god second opinion and sure enough sinus infection which doctor would've know had he actually touched sons face know he's on sinus meds for chronic sinus and allergies issues. i will not be returning. not to mention they very ungently gave him a covid, flu and step test. and i mean roughly!!! avoid of actually sick. the old doctors were great, new not so much. rush though and don't care read more

This place is my life saver! When my son's or my primary Dr gives so many excuses that they can't see us (like we can schedule our sick days) this place takes us no problem! The drs are always incredible with my son and I always answer my questions and if they can't help us they send us to the right place. The nurses are always attentive and kind. I've been here before and when I called they told me I would be able to get testing done, went in and waited two hours to just get my blood drawn. Some of the staff is unaware of how to draw blood as well. In addition I called recently to make an appointment and told me to make it online which I did, come to the doctor office at 8AM to be told the doctor isn't in until 10AM. What's the point of having 8AM as a time slot when your doctor isn't even in two hours later. Very disappointed in this place if it's your last resort then go ahead. read more

Not only did I have a great consultation with Martha Morris who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Also Din Mendez was amazing and kind and so so helpful. He went above and beyond to help me. Despite registering online and receiving acknowledgement by email and voicemail they claimed they wouldn't take our insurance which is supposed to cover any urgent care. They then recommended a different urgent care miles away. read more
