Cheapest shop you can find in city centre. I was looking for 377 watch battery, which costs €1 on eBay. They even sell an assortment of random items like zippo lighters. I'm giving them 4 stars for the great job they did engraving my knives. For about 5 euro each, I had 1/2 dozen knives perfectly engraved in a nice scripture (you can pick from a large assortment of fonts). Major points for doing the engraving while I waited (took less than 20 minutes). I researched a few jewelers and they all wanted 1 to 2 days to do the same type engraving.

I took a dress to be shortened a bit. When I went to collect it I asked the man if I could try it,…read morehe was hesitant and said he took all the measurements and everything is okay. I was a bit sad and he finally asked me to wait a few minutes so that he can tidy up the room. I couldn't wait since I was in a hurry and told him I will try it at home. When I arrived home, I tried the dress on and it was not proportional on the sides, the other side was high and the other side was low, at the back too and the stich was not properly done. I took the dress back and told the man that the alteration is not done properly. When I put on the dress he couldn't identify even a single problem. He kept saying "I can't see any problem with this dress. This dress is okay", insisting. I showed him where the problem was. Still insisting he said "Is just the material because is a stretch, I don't see anything wrong with this dress". omg I asked him to take his time and pay attention a little bit. At this stage now he was able to tell where the problem was and I left the dress. I went back for collection the following day, I collected the dress hoping everything is sorted. To my disappointment when I tried it on I was almost crying, it was now worse to the point that the front part was now funny looking. Poor little thing I should have tried it before leaving the shop. My flat mate told me to go back and ask for my money back, unfortunately that's not my nature no mater how disappointed I am. If you own one of your nice piece of clothing and you need it to be altered I do not recommend this place even if you need a last minute fix. Recently, I had all my duvets and pillows dry cleaned. I went in, asked for prices, and they offered to pick up and return everything to my house, the same day! This was beyond what I expected and very appreciated as it was really heavy and bulky. That evening, right on time, they delivered. Some items had been somewhat damaged in the cleaning process which I didn't notice until after they left. I call right away, and they came back immediately (by this time it was around 9pm, well after they closed). We went through item by item and I showed them what happened. They took everything back, and the next day they came back with everything absolutely perfect. The service and attentiveness was above and beyond. Especially since there was a problem, I was very happy with the professionalism and speed which with they resolved the issue.

So I did. And I paid in advance, €28. When I went to collect them the two days later, it was a different man working there. He couldn't find them initially. It turned out they hadn't been repaired at all. The man told me to go off for about 20 minutes or so and he would repair them in the meantime. I decided to wait instead. He started to work on them and, while he was working on them, another customer came in for a heel repair. He stopped working on my boots and did the other customer's shoes straight away. He then finished the work on my boots. Being let down and then delayed like this was very disappointing and I will not return to this cobbler for any further repairs.
