i want to start this review off with positives the heart monitor girl in the office by the front…read moredoor is absolutely the sweetest! she's been nothing but kind and helpful! and doctor muhammad kahn is extremely smart and makes every decision with lots of research and seeks wisdom and gets second opinions and actually gave helpful advice and took my concerns seriously!! doctor asif or asid kahn however told me thing i could have googled took months soon months to get back to me even while calling the office. he ordered no tests to be done besides a monitor while yes that's is important that is not the only thing wrong with my heart. he referred me to the wrong specialist at ucsf. he referred me to an arrhythmia specialist when i clearly do not have an arrhythmia. with in five minutes of looking at my chart dr muhammad kahn was able to tell me exactly what was wrong, and have been helping refer me and has been on top of everything!

I take my husband there to get his INR checked as he is on Warfarin. The people that work there are…read moretotally fantastic, professional, and seem to be good at their job. The office building is huge with lots of open space and lots of floor space and very attractive. They have a popcorn machine and always offer popcorn. There's a drive up window that they use to poke your finger to get a blood sample and tell you your INR and give any instruction needed for how much Wafarin to take. They also take care of any prescribing and refills of his warfarin. My husband was in Home Health care for a while and the nurse checked his INR and called the HEART clinic for instructions. They are also really understanding and patient with us paying our fees. I only gave the company three stars because of their price's. In my opinion, their fees are way too high. I know they have expenses, but they might be able to charge less if they spent less. Who knows how much they pay for that big office. They don't need that huge place. We haven't been there a huge amount of times but we've never seen another client in there but us. Our insurance doesn't pay for all the fees. we have a co pay. We found out it is actually cheaper for us to buy Eliquis from a Canadian pharmacy than to keep getting the INR checked. Anyway. I am absolutely happy with the quality of care we have gotten from everyone at the HEART clinic. I give them top marks, 5 stars for that. I also give them 5 stars and many thanks for how patient and understand they are when it comes to paying the bill. I've had no pressure from them and they even let me pay as little as $10. I just think they could cut their fees by cutting some of their expense and the 3 stars is because their fee's drag the rating down.

She was extremely dismissive, rude, and made me physically uncomfortable to even be locked in the room with her. I explained that I was starting to plan to become pregnant and expressed interest in birthing centers vs a hospital. Her response was to start talking about dead babies. She then went on to explain how hospitals are better and essentially gave the typical Drs degrading talk when someone is interested in something "alternative." I also didn't like that another person was in the room with us writing things down. My first experience with Wiley we were alone. I didn't see why another person needed to be in there while I'm in a vulnerable exposing position. I would NEVER go back there. I'd rather drive down to Sacramento for a yearly checkup than ever enter that negative space again.

He was the Dr on call when my husband had the big heart attack. That was how we got him to begin with. Dr Pick does know his stuff. He is especially knowledgeable in electrical workings of the heart. He is talking of retiring which is disappointing. As a person we ( husband and I) both like him. He is personable and I feel he does care, My husband isn't just a number. I feel he is our friend. He has had problems last year with his staff not getting paperwork submitted. He has some new staff now that has done a better job lately. Hopefully they stay. The only complaints I have heard are about the staff not him.

We feel as though we as patients are being taken seriously, and that it matters how we feel about treatments and medications, we have never had this feeling before. Doctor Liwanpo is young and extremely well informed , she welcomes questions and encourages collaboration.
