Why would someone overly sedated with horse tranquilizers need restraints??!!! He did not receive proper hygiene, hydration or mouthcare which resulted in bed sores and severe dehydration!!! I also noticed bruising on arms and inner thighs which have been documented & photographed for legal purposes!! After enduring my husband's treatment or better words, lack of appropriate care, I demanded him be discharged and transferred to Accute Rehab-SAC immediately! Very professional and clean - yeah, I know that's to be expected at a hospital, but you know there's a big difference between levels of 'professional' and 'clean', and I'd say this hospital definitely ranks best out of the 6-10 I've been encountered in my life. My surgeon said he can't do as many surgeries in a day at this hospital compared to the other one in town. At the other one, patients are pushed through a lot faster -which he likes - but he understood that from the patient's perspective it's probably better not to be ran through as quickly. Personally, I LIKE to know I'm not on a conveyor belt for surgery, but being cared for in the best way. I'd choose them again. Kudos to everyone who is patient facing at Mercy Medical!

Another stellar job today. My deaf brother was seen at the ER about three weeks ago and was…read morereleased with bronchitis. They double checked that he had no pericardial effusion with the CT scan, and after antibiotics, he still had a lingering cough three weeks later, so we went back in. Professional, competent, kind, thorough... intake staff, nurses, and "Dr. Tom." Were able to rest easy knowing things are not getting worse with the multiple tests. And he came home with a set of medications that are going to help ease his pain, which is the best thing we can do right now for sure. This is probably our third or fourth visit to the hospital over the last five months. And this performance by the staff has been consistent. Making these testimonials easy to write. What baffles me are the extremely negative comments others have left about the staff. I know my three or four experiences are anecdotal, but I've had different staff and different doctors every single time, and geez, just a great group of people from our perspective.

My EKG and initial troponin were negative, and from that point forward I was invisible. I sat in the waiting room for four hours. No monitoring. No IV. No serial troponin draws. No cardiology consult. No one came to check on me. No one told me what was happening or how long I would wait. I was a cardiac patient with eight stents and active chest pain, sitting in a plastic chair next to everyone else. After four hours with zero treatment or communication, I left. The next day I went to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance. Within hours I was in the cath lab. They found a 99% calcified occlusion of my right coronary artery -- so severe that a balloon couldn't open it. The vessel cracked during the procedure. They had to use a cutting balloon and place a stent to save the artery. My troponin was zero. That means my heart muscle was starving but hadn't died yet. I caught it just in time. If that last 1% had closed while I was sitting in your waiting room with no monitor and no IV -- I would have had a massive heart attack in a plastic chair with no one watching. I understand you are understaffed. I understand the ER is busy. But a patient with eight stents and active chest pain is not someone you park in a lobby and forget about. If you don't have the capacity to triage a high-risk cardiac patient appropriately, you tell them. You facilitate a transfer. You do something other than nothing. Four hours of nothing nearly cost me my life.

We drove to three different urgent cares (all closed) before calling Hilltop and making sure they were open. They told us to fill out an online form and that a nurse could help him triage from the car (because we were from out of town they didn't want us to enter). However, when we arrived, they changed their tune, saying they "may not" be able to see him and that they would have to decide. After begging a rude receptionist over the phone who ignored my friend's pain and made his urgent need for help about her ("I'm sorry sir I do t know who you spoke to before but you don't need to take it out on me!") Someone came out and told us to take pictures of the burn and email them, and they *may* be able to see him in 2 hours. Keep in mind he has a bad burn and is in need of immediate treatment. We decided to leave and seek help at a pharmacy instead. Who knew you could get better help for free from the staff at CVS inside Target than the people at a an urgent care clinic... The website says the 5 physicians started this clinic to help patients with minor emergencies. Looks like they strayed from the path. We were treated like second class citizens here. If your care needs are urgent, I urge you to reconsider seeking help from Hilltop.

Also, I would like to say that Prestige urgent care is awesome. Anytime I've called the receptionist at the front desk have always answered my questions or if I had a question for my doctor, they gave the message to the doctor and got back to me just like they said they would. They were under the impression that they needed to see him in order to obtain a referral to a specialist. During the appointment, my friend began explaining her mother's medical history and the reason for the visit. Unfortunately, Dr. Mohammad immediately became argumentative and repeatedly stated that her mother needed a specialist. My friend calmly explained that she understood this and that obtaining a referral was the reason they were there. Despite this clarification, he continued interrupting and raising his voice rather than listening to the concerns being presented. As the conversation became increasingly frustrating, my friend raised her voice in an attempt to explain the situation once again. She was then asked to leave the exam room, despite being her mother's primary caregiver, advocate, and support person. As she was leaving, she was reportedly told that she was no longer allowed in the building. The nursing staff were kind, professional, and compassionate when she later explained what had happened. However, she was unable to speak with a supervisor regarding the incident. Working with elderly patients, especially those with dementia and complex medical conditions, requires patience, empathy, and effective communication. In this case, those qualities were noticeably absent. Rather than taking the time to listen and understand the situation, the doctor appeared rushed, dismissive, and unwilling to engage in a productive conversation. Patients who cannot advocate for themselves depend on family members to do so, and that role should be respected rather than discouraged
