Clayview was able to get us right in and I must add they were extremely sympathetic and professional in the way everything was handled. It was a hard decision but they made it as easy as possible. When we got back home a few days later, we had a letter from them with our pet's paw print along with a sympathy card. We did not expect this kind of experience but it was very appreciated and thoughtful. We may never have the opportunity to use them again being from out of state, but I would highly recommend them for any kind of pet care you may need.

Now, there appears to only be one vet working there and he does things without making sure I know what is happening and what it is going to cost. I feel like my questions are a nuisance. They do quality care. Just go in with your eyes open that things may cost more than you expect.

He just decides what he wants to try with your pet, and doesn't give your pet back until he's done. I took my dog in multiple times because he couldn't walk, and the vet kept him (without calling me) for days. Eventually, he called me saying he was going to keep my dog for a week to give him acupuncture treatments, and when I got him back, he was no better whatsoever, and they wanted me to pay $1500 upfront and berated me for not having the money. I had NO IDEA how much this was going to cost, and I had no say in the matter, and we did not have the means to pay it. Two weeks later, we had no choice but to put our dog down because the vet's treatments wouldn't work, and they wouldn't let us come back because we owed them money.
