What is unique and most effective about Dr. Milowe's practice is his truly wholistic approach. He treats mental illness from a physical, psychological, and spiritual perspectives. He listens and works with the strengths and resources his patients bring to the relationship, as well as offering a broad range of alternative treatments. Dr. Milowe's integration of western and eastern health practices and knowledge and use of natural/homeopathic is forward thinking and incredibly effective for a wide range of issues and clientele. He shows great respect for his patience and the complex nature of human behavior and mental illness. His entire office is extremely responsive to the needs of the patients and is a great advocate for patients rights. Dr. Milowe is a model for modern patient care.

Within a day or so of a serious reaction from too high a dosage of a prescription by Dr Milowe, & he was not avail to return my call. "Mrs Triage RN" Would Not or couldn't do 1-thing! Nothing to help me!! In trying to tell Dr Milowe at my next appt, what had happened and that I had to go to NSMC. That was when he told me that his wife (who I thought, was his Med Asst/wife), was actually his "Triage R.N. and she's completely involved with Patient Care, too! If I don't like that business, I don't have to continue." But, I reluctantly stayed. Knowing now that HE can/did share our confidential appts; like, more than mere meds to send off and/or Insurance to verify, etc.?! I didn't ever talk about deeper or personal feelings after that! I felt Humiliated, even! Hey, you know? It's not a big deal, her being his wife, BUT YES, I do have a huge problem not being Told about her busy-ness in my MHC together & tag-team with MY Dr. of Psychiatrist!
