My man ordered the shrimp mofongo and really enjoyed it, while my brother-in-law was very happy with his snapper fish. For my entree, I chose the Mofongo Relleno de Pollo, a mashed plantain mofongo topped with chicken, and it was delicious. The portion was decent and packed with flavor. For dessert I tried the guava flan. While the flavor was nice, the texture was a bit too tough for my liking. It's a…read moresmall place with outdoor seating, connected to a go kart course, but the food is fresh and excellent. I had an arepa de pernil, and it was absolutely delicious. The arepa was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the pernil was very flavorful but not overly salty, and the lemonade was perfect (tasty with just the right amount of sweetness and tang). I would absolutely recommend the place to anyone driving by. The owner/chef is Venezuelan, and the place has been around for 3 years. They have a selection of vegan arepas as well, so it is vegetarian/vegan friendly.
