Visiting from San Antonio, it was the only place I could get an appointment on short notice and would return 2 weeks post race for a deep tissue massage. He does use his feet and unexpectedly hopped on the back of my legs to provide some stretching. I agree it was a different experience but a good one for me. I think it's the different approach to massage that makes it unexpected. He seems to approach massage as a corrective therapy and not for relaxation. Ok with me!
