I found myself in Lubbock, Texas for the weekend for a celebration of life. I was checking the Internet for places I could get a massage. This one struck me as important because I went on their website and I looked at Robin's résumé. Extremely impressive! I have never met this woman! I don't know anything about her personally or her business...but like I said, I was extremely impressed with the résumé. I had a 90 minute massage and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. I'm a 58-year-old woman and I get a massage every two weeks in Los Angeles. The type of massage I had from Robin was $150. Well worth it! Upon booking, I advised that I'd been to my chiropractor for the first time in nearly a year and was obnoxiously sore. Donna got me in sooner than my original appointment *AND* I was able to get a 90 minute massage instead of the 30 I previously booked. 10/10 recommend :) read more

I'm assuming this buisness almost got snowed under after COVID and had been there twice before when they were on 82nd street. They were excellent both times then. However, now it was terrible service. The owner only accepts cash. My bank card had not been mailed to me yet and I told her I had cash app and Apple ipay or a check. She refused this as payment. I went ahead and booked due to my fibromyalgia pain, but due to 10-12hr work days was unable to get the cash ahead of time. I called her several times, even they day before and morning before. She was very rude to me over phone telling me that banks were open at 7am. I explained my bank was not. I did try multiple ways to get the cash before the appointment, even called her and told her I could get it when my bank teller finally opened, however I would be late, and if she would still give me the 30min massage. She says "no". She said that she can only do that allowed time frame and it would be the same price....... Well, after finally getting her Cash and finding the place.. I only had 10 minutes left. I tried talking to her and getting out of it as she was going to charge me $50 for a 10 minute massage! I was very tense and upset. She did not offer any other offer or even try rescheduling with me to keep a good customer. She had had taken my cc number on the day I made appointment which I forgot about. Sooo I knew she would try and bill my cc if I just walked out and left. Soo, I went ahead and did the ONLY 10 minute massage for $50!!... She was very good for the only 10 minutes, but she was rude and is conducting a bad business. I'm never going here again! read more

I had a massage booked for my birthday after being 6 weeks postpartum. My baby became fussy and unfortunately I was unable to keep my appointment. I called to reschedule and the owner told me I will be charged $80 regardless. I explained that I am a long time customer and wish to simply reschedule, she said sure but we will still charge you for this a appointment plus your reschedule. I'm not sure who is running this establishment but that is a terrible way to conduct business and I will NEVER be back! read more

I received a gift cert. for Valentines Day '21. The gift certificates expire apparently so I tried to book an appointment before the expiration date. I called 4 times throughout the week, but no one answered. The phone system apparently doesn't take messages either, it just hangs up after a prerecorded message. So I emailed them on their website, but got no response. Finally I was able to get thru on the date of the gift certificate expiration date. I explained my struggles in connecting with them and was essentially told that's just tough luck because their arbitrary expiration date on the gift certificate is set in stone. read more

If I could give this a negative review, I would. DO NOT use this company! M husband gifted me with a professional massage that cost $79. It was received during the pandemic of 2020 and the company was shut down. When they reopened, I did not feel comfortable going because I did not want a stranger touching me during to the fact that I have underlying health conditions. Once I was full vaccinated, I called the company on 4/22/2021 at 2:45 to request an appointment. I was told that the would not be accepting my gift certificate because it had expired. I did not know that I only had two months to have my gift certificate honored and when I was told that over the phone, I told them that I only missed it by one week. It expired on 4/13/2021 (without my knowledge). How was I supposed to know I only had two months? I never received a phone call from this company and if the are going to make up a new policy, I should have been informed. However, they were more than willing to take my husband's money and we did not get what we paid for. read more

NEVER book with them. They didnt call me until the morning of a surprise appointment for me (it was a birthday gift). But because I didnt know about it they took the money without offering ANYTHING. They dont call to confirm appointments beforehand (meaning a day or so before) to make sure they can just take your money. I've worked at a massage therapy place and rub me the right way is an absolute JOKE. dont waste your time on the phone with these people (they wont help you, just argue that you are wrong....so much for customer service) and dont waste your money. read more

Donna, the owner needs "People Skills". When having a conversation with a customer who replies with "Um", "Um", and she was pretty sassy on the phone, like if I was inconveniencing her throughout the conversation I was having with her.... I tried to book an appointment for my husband and I tried to explain to Donna that I was having issues with my email and I finally had seen my husband's Birthday email, which obviously it passed last week and I tried explaining to her what the issue was and I wanted to see if we could use it. She wouldn't budge and commenced to tell me that the email was sent last month, I told her yes I understand this and this is why I was calling since her email finally popped up. She wouldn't budge, but hey I guess business is going so great that she doesn't need repeat customers to come back to her facility. If you don't care how a business owner speaks to you, then this is the place for you. read more

Donna was amazing! She was so helpful and her main focus was making sure that I was as comfortable as possible throughout the massage. After the massage, I was no longer in pain which was so nice! I had a good experience with a deep tissue and sports massage. I recently had arthroscopic surgery on my hip and I have a lot of associated stiffness and tightness. My massage therapist was knowledgable and definitely helped. I'm going to visit for a second time soon. read more

Recently moved to Lubbock and I've tried a couple of the places in town. I heard about this place threw a Co worker, and decided to give it a try. I have lots of trouble with my sciatic nerve, when i got there the therapist "Tammy" asked me what i was in for. I always want a relaxing experience of coarse but i let her know about my nerve as well, and how much trouble i have with it. I've told therapist this before and never really felt like anything they did helped me out. But after Tammy took care of me i did not feel any of the same problems I had when i walked in! It was awesome i usually have to stretch multiple times a day. Needless to say i have been back to Rub Me The Right way multiple times to see Tammy. I would highly recommend that if you are in pain or just need to get away from it all and relax. Go see Tammy and she will take care of you. read more

This is one of the best massage places in Lubbock, I have been coming here for a long time. The massage therapists here are so knowledgeable of the Muscular System and are very professional. I have always felt comfortable here, they have always treated me with respect and understanding. The massage tables here are very sturdy, not those cheap folding tables you usually see at other massage places. The massage therapist are constantly asking if the temperature and pressure they are using are okay. I was most impressed with their draping technique, which ensures areas of your body you don't want seen are covered. I would recommend anyone that needs a massage to try this place before you go anywhere else, this is a great place to come to if you are getting your first massage too. read more

Would NOT go back.....My husband gave me some gift certificates last Christmas, and I recently scheduled my last massage (hot stone, cost $75). Normally I get off work at 1:30 pm (I'm a nurse at a prison), so making a 4:00 appt would give me plenty of time to get ready. On this particular day, we had numerous problems with our offenders. I didn't even REMEMBER my appt with all the drama going on, so needless to say, I didn't call to cancel my appt. I left work at 7pm that day. Yes, I know this was my fault, but the no-show "fee" was the entire amount of my gift certificate - $75. Other massage therapists list no-show fees between $20-$25 on their websites. ***********OUTRAGEOUS and COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE***************** Not only have they lost my business, but I will NEVER again refer friends and family to them. read more

I have been using RMTRW for about 12 years. The manager has been my therapist for the last ten. The massages are great! I usually have a massage every week if possible. They are very professional and friendly. I have a lot of nerve damage in my neck and shoulders from sports and I periodically have trouble with sciatic pain. My massage of choice is deep tissue and RMTRW literally keeps me moving pain free. I would highly recommend them to anyone that suffers from nerve pain. They are very knowledgeable and give me advice on stretches to help with the pain. A++++++++++ read more

When I signed up online, booked a massage and paid for it I did read about the cancellation policy. It said you must call before an hour before your massage to cancel. Well I had an emergency come up and could not make the appointment. My appointment was for 12:30 and I called at 11:45. I missed the window by 15 minutes and the lady I talked to would not reschedule it at all. Not even maybe a % off next time I book an appointment. All she told me was I have to pay the full price again. I have been going there for 3 years and they lost a customer. Not only did they lose me they will lose me recommending their place again.
