I am a disabled liver transplant recipient with copd that lives out of state. I hired this company (Dragonfire Excavation) to clear some land put in a foundation and septic tank and leaching field, the land was cleared with Debree left behind and was told from the son (Doug) they were going to chip it up and never did. Built me a slab foundation that was uneven and used cinder blocks to build a foundation. When done the slab and foundation was not squared was out of square by 4 inches and the cap where the anchor bolts go in was an inch thick that didn't hold the sill plate in place cinder blocks were full of dirt (not cement). Doug and his father took my money to build a foundation that was unbuildable and took money for a septic tank and never (stole my money). Dragonfire Excavation told me that they used the money for the extra work they did that they never told me about said it was $27,000.00 and never delivered the septic tank after telling me it was on its way knowing they were never going to install it or fixed the foundation. I'm very disappointed with this company. It started off well. They cleared our land, then we also had them do our foundation. It was a disaster. We cant even build a house on it. Shame on us for having trust in these guys. Anytime they needed money it was sent Asap. They then promised a septic as they were getting licensed. Well that never happened. Come to find out they were not certified. They took our money and used it somewhere else without. our knowledge. I'm so disappointed in this company. The communication with the company is horrible. Well no communication at all. Long story short there was a lot of false promises. I have a foundation that is unbuildable. This is a horrible feeling when you think you can trust someone. Promised so much delivered so little. Paid them to clear a small lot and put in a driveway plus fill and prepare the land for a cement pad. Quoted 1 price then changed the price half way through the job. On top of that, the driveway they built washed out two days later and now is just an exposed culvert. As far as fill they did one very thin layer of just dirt that washed out as well. At the end we didn't even get the land ready for the pad as they told us they couldn't complete the work promised for the price quoted after numerous visits to the site and guarantees from them all would be completed. $3700 wasted as nothing they did was completed and what they did complete was subpar at best. Also they came 2 months after the scheduled start date. Never do business with this company. They do not complete the work or complete the work in an acceptable manner and will not return phone calls when complaints are made. ​ read more
