She didn't brag about what big names she had worked with or try to impress us by going over the top with her accomplishments - she was honest and straight to the point about her style of planning and what we could expect. We knew very quickly that she was the one with whom we wanted to work. From the beginning, Charity made us feel at ease and confident about our wedding. She answered emails in a very timely fashion with detail and encouragement. We actually ended up increasing our package with her to the next tier up. She was able to work with our budget when we decided to upgrade which was very considerate and kind. We really appreciated that! We also really appreciated her strong connections within the New England wedding planning community. She clearly has worked hard at networking and building strong and positive relationships with other vendors. Charity utilizes a great planning platform that was easy to use and fully integrated with her planning style. We were able to use it to help organize our own thoughts and notes while providing insight for her as well. It was useful for us every single time we worked on the wedding! Throughout the entire process charity brought a sense of confidence, strong professionalism, joy, and energy. When we met her for site visits she was incredibly professional and diligent and prepared. She made sure to follow-up on things that needed to be addressed and always made sure to close the loop on things left open. When our wedding weekend finally arrived, we had talked through different circumstances with her in case of emergency -- how we would want things handled if certain things arose or things went sideways. It was really helpful to have talked about those things with her beforehand so we were all on the same page. The morning of our wedding we did have some unexpected things come up and Charity handled them with grace and confidence. She was flexible and adaptable. She didn't make us feel bad or guilty when things went sideways. During the wedding itself, she went above and beyond. She was on top of everything and made us feel so calm. She had a smile on her face and was helpful answering our questions about timing. The entire day went smoothly because of her! Overall we could not be happier that we chose to work with Charity (and she chose to work with us!). She was kind, organized, professional, a great communicator, and detail-oriented. She made our wedding day everything we wanted and MORE!! She truly did help us "delight and surprise" on our big day.

Their team showed up on time, knew exactly what to do at all times (they had written up a "gameplan" beforehand) and executed everything flawlessly throughout the day. Our wedding had a lot of moving pieces, and we couldn't have possibly pulled it off without them. On top of that, every member of the Strange Events team was friend, courteous, and a breeze to work with. We are forever grateful!

We had a terrible experience with this company at our event. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but it was a disaster. She had no idea what she was doing, was nowhere to be found most of the time and when she was she was on her phone. She was not assertive nor organized. She even asked if I wanted to walk down the aisle...what? We also used Strange Events for bar tending and were reassured they knew what exactly to do for everything we wanted when in fact they did not. They used glass and plastic together-when plastic was supposed to be rolled out late night-they even told me they ran out of glasses (we found 12 slates of unopened glassware the next day!) I was horrified when I saw a guest with a solo cup! I understand things happen and I have tried to give grace but the fact that no one reached out to me after my email to the owner about my concerns showed the lack of professionalism. I finally received an email over a month and a half later which was so rude, very defensive and blamed me. It took no responsibility as an owner for my perspective (and that of my bridal party) for how the coordinator was- it also failed to mention any of the bartending issues. It was petty, passive aggressive and disrespectful- it said false things such as I was late for the walk through, when in fact the coordinator was late- it made light of "that not every petal will be perfect or every sign will be out" when in fact everything was detailed from my end so they should have been because that is in fact the job of a coordinator. I am appalled by the response, the lack of professionalism and just how rude someone could be towards another person especially in a service industry. Would not recommend to any of my friends getting married in the future.

I had a very poor experience with this firm and strongly encourage others to seek out other firms…read more I felt that there was a strong bias against men and men's rights in family matters. This seemed to be a culture engrained in the attorneys and staff at the firm. It felt to me like we were immersed in the 1980's in terms of their views on divorce, custody, and parental rights. Legal matters are stressful and difficult enough to deal with. You shouldn't have to feel like you are enduring additional persecution and biases from your own representation. The other major issue I had with the firm was their billing. It really felt as though they had no interest in solving my case quickly and sought to draw things out as much as possible. In fact, the judge in my case cited in his ruling that the attorney's fees for the other side were excessive (my fees from Andrucki and King were even more than hers but my fees weren't put in front of the judge for his comment- so, draw your own conclusions). The discovery process was a disaster with having to provide the same documents repeatedly and be billed for their review. I was actually called by Ms. Andrucki and asked to email a document that I had already provided and was in my file. When questioned about this and her billing me to call to request this, she told me it "was actually cheaper for me to have her call me and ask me to resend it then to pay her for her time to search through my file to find it." Again, I would seek representation elsewhere.
