I politely asked them to not block my mail box with their trailer. (I tell them this every time) The Worker responds by moving it and jumping the curb, gouging my lawn with the trailer tire. I called the manager/boss and he refused to fix it with new sod and said all he would do is seed the damaged area. So now I have this 15' long brown streak across the front of my lawn. Once again I reached out to the company to assess the tree so we could take measures to get it healthy. Appointment was made with Connor to meet me there. When I called the day of the appointment to confirm he cancelled. I tried to reschedule but I never heard from them again. Would never use this company again.

I hired D'Anna Landscaping to tackle several problem areas in my backyard. The space had multiple…read morelevels that required retaining walls, along with heavy overgrowth--vines, saplings, and stubborn weeds in hard-to-reach spots. They installed the retaining walls, cleared out all the debris, and put down barriers and crushed rock. They also removed a long row of hedges and poured concrete that matched my existing decking perfectly. Given the tight spaces around my pool and all the flower beds, my yard was extremely difficult to navigate. Despite the challenges, they went above and beyond. At one point, I thought I had a pool issue, and even though it wasn't his responsibility, he came by in the evening, dug out the lines, and tried to troubleshoot the problem. I can't thank him enough for the peace of mind that gave me. I'll admit--I was nervous going into such a big job with a company I'd never used before. Large projects can be disruptive, but he was absolutely wonderful throughout. He held my hand every step of the way, communicated clearly, took time to explain every detail, and genuinely eased my concerns. On top of that, the crew cleaned up daily and left my property spotless. If you're looking for a landscaping company you can trust--one that gives you confidence and peace of mind--I honestly couldn't recommend D'Anna more highly. They're a true gem."

I was skeptical at first bc I've had nothing but awful experiences with landscapers in the past but Nick has renewed my faith! Good Lord, Amen! I also want to add that this is mine and my husband's first home, in a high end, very 'judgy' part of Long Island. So there's a lot of expectation and everything involving the home makes us nervous bc we don't want to break/screw up anything up. That being said, from day 1 Nick (the founder/owner) took me by the hand, walked me through/spoon fed me everything for this very extensive process/project. I wanted to rip up my entire front and backyard down to the bones, build it back up and do it all before Labor Day. Today they finished! (9/3/26) and I only first emailed Nick about 3 weeks ago! I'm still in shock! And I didn't just do landscaping, I did front and back patios too! I emailed Nick, within 30 seconds I had a reply saying that he wanted to look at the property. This was after I explained my ridiculous request/situation! So Clearly he does not scare easily! But from the moment he arrived onsite, he has been nothing short of kind, respectful, honest, transparent, helpful, accommodating, life saver, mentor to new homeowners, a wealth of information and knowledge! I could go on and on but you need to experience it for yourself! I thought genuinely good customer service died but NOPE NOT WITH D'ANNA!! They are 1000% in service for the customer! And even with all the knowledge, expertise etc that Nick comes with, you will NEVER see/experience an ounce of arrogance! HUMBLE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT and for someone his age and that has his skill set, he's got every reason to walk around thinking who the hell he is, BUT HE DOESNT! And I bring up the age thing for a reason, he is on the younger side and I was probably THE MOST HAPPY about that!!! There is nothing more frustrating (especially being on the younger side myself) having an "old timer" in the industry for years, acting like the all mighty blah blah ignoring my plan and then telling me what THEY think should be done. UGH! NO! Give me someone younger, open minded, who will actually LISTEN to me! Nick gave me full autonomy during this process. He let me express my wildest dreams, while still letting me know what is realistic, how certain things should be done, offered his opinion/suggestions but would never try to push anything on me! He never ever ever once acted like a salesman! If anything he did his best to keep me within my budget LOL. My husband appreciated that! But it's hard especially once you see their work! I was adding on things right up until the last day and bless Nick, not only did he not want to kill me but he was more than happy to do it all! But the best feeling in the world was once everything was done (around like 4pm so everyone was out walking around/coming home from work) the amount of COMPLIMENTS WE GOT!!! THEY DIDNT EVEN GET TO PULL THEIR TRUCKS AWAY FROM THE CURB BEFORE THE COMPLIMENTS STARTED ROLLING IN!! They put on a show for us and my whole block and EVERYONE was all to excited to see the finale! And boyyyy did the people let us know how happy they were for us (and their increased property value!). It was a very refreshing experience seeing a team show up at 730am, prep the site, start by 8am and end by 5pm. Everyday. Until the job was done. AND THESE GUYS PUT IN WORK!! OMG!! Communication = A+ you will be informed/updated about EVERYTHING and if you have questions, the response time is impeccable! Rain, shine, didn't matter these guys hustled! Every guy on this team was the utmost respectful to the point where, I was doing a walk around with Nick on the final day and the second I entered the backyard, all men stopped work and just stood at attention. They made me feel like I was the most important person in the world! A little ego inflating lol but I was just blown away by that. I could go on and on but if you're wondering if you should hire them, let this review be your sign and DO IT!
