He put in beautiful dry-beds and rock gardens at areas that used to get flooded. He convinced me to put in a underground dry-well to keep my yard from flooding, and more important to keep my basement from flooding. My entire time living on Long Island, I have always seen the Mike and Marco's trucks and signs. Their reputation is outstanding, but I always heard they were so expensive (BIG MISCONCEPTION). RECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Landscaping sketches should accurately reflect the size of the plants/trees…read morethat will be planted, 2) If there are issues with the work after completion and the payment has already been made, Mr. Daniele should address the issues in a timely fashion, not three seasons later, 3) Making the customer happy should always be a priority. I did my research on about three to four different landscape designers and while Mr. Daniele was one of the more expensive ones, I decided to go with him because his reviews were good and he provided a sketch of the end product and we were very pleased with the plan. The beginning of the process was smooth. Mr. Daniele was responsive and seemed knowledgeable and experienced with landscaping. The concerns started to come about the day he arrived with the plants. Some of the plants were not in the best condition, but he assured us they would bloom again before the end of the season, in which they did. But, also it was evident he was attempting to make the most profit by purchasing smaller plants (or much younger) than what was shown in the sketch. After completing his work, I noticed one of the trees was not planted straight, another tree planted is not the one that was listed in the contract, and 10 of the plants are either dying or dead. The job cost $3,400 so I expected to be completely satisfied. I reached out to Mr. Daniel and he mentioned the plants were dying due to lack of water. This is false as one of the dying plants is a few inches away from a sprinkler and all sprinkler heads were adjusted to provide adequate water for the plants. He then said he would replace the plants, but I would have to wait until spring of 2020 (as per a policy that was not noted in the contract). I do not believe it is fair to pay a few thousands of dollars for a landscaping project and have to wait almost a year for it to be properly completed. Also, Mr. Daniele would not mention anything about the slanted tree or the tree that was quoted in the contract but not delivered. I am guessing we would have to wait until the spring for those as well. Overall, I am dissatisfied with the outcome of the project and regret not going with another company.

Let me also say that when Mike Masone sat with us to plan out space and told me that the entire job would take under a week to complete, my first thought was "Yeah, right!! I'll be happy to have it done by the fall." This project entailed not only paving the yard with built in lighting, but also ripping out about 12 large trees, running a gas line, redoing my sprinklers in the back and front, replacing a very large area of grass, adding 13 bushes plus flowers, lining one side of the yard with small trees, enclosing the area under the stairs, paving the entire side of my house with concrete (after removing all the rocks), replacing a patch of missing stone on my house and building a stone BBQ area.....DONE IN 5 DAYS!!!!!! It's important for me to add that I am extremely fussy. This job was completed to PERFECTION. The gorgeous finished project was equally matched by the fabulous customer service. This entire team is prompt, patient, professional and these men literally work like machines!!! Mike went above and beyond in his attention to this job, answering every one of my questions and searching out the exact color and variety of every plant I wanted. The finished product is 100 times more beautiful than I could have even imagined.
