These guys came through in a pinch. I had a clogged drain affecting both my washer and garbage disposal and they offered Saturday morning service with 3 days notice. The communication leading up to the service appointment was excellent. The technician was on time and professional. He offered me three different services: a basic snake service for $379, a deep dive service for under $800 and their most advanced service for under $1000. I opted for the cheapest. He explained the procedure and showed me where the problem was, cleaned the drains, cleaned up whatever mess was made, and he was in and out in about 30 minutes. Highly recommended. read more

For your average homeowner with a no experience with drain cleaners Drain Masters will be a pleasant experience, albeit expensive. I had a simple clog which I explained to the technician. They charged 39.00 to tell me I had a simple clog and then quoted 330.00 to clear it (and tried to up sell a camera inspection). The "rougher" drain guys in town charge 120-150/hour. If you are going to use drain guys often, as landlords do, find one of these guys (AK Rooter, Curry's, Arctic Sewer & Drain) or have you own snake handy. I do have a snake and went over that evening and cleared the drain myself in 15 minutes. Why didn't I go in the first place? For 120.00 was not worth my time to do it myself, for 330.00 it was. Again, too be fair, if you are a homeowner with a rare blockage Drain Masters is a good call. The receptionist was very friendly and the tech was very professional, just too pro for me :-) I would imagine you would be happy with their service. read more

Jeffery was the technician that did our repairs, he is a very friendly guy and showed me exactly what was wrong and what needed to be done. Jeffery also informed me that the tank of the toilet was slightly cracked at the top quite a bit above the waterline. I appreciated his honestly about the location of it not being a serious problem but to consider getting it fixed. While I'm sure the company has had some success I'd say to avoid them if possible. I had a drain issue and they sent out a young and somewhat inexperienced guy. He was nice but clearly new to this work. He was on the phone (to his work?) a lot. Worked with the snake to unclog but had no luck. Believed the problem was severe but charged a fair bit of money anyway. They sent out another couple of guys (for free) who ran a camera into the hole and believed the entire pipe had collapsed despite not seeing it. Quoted me $3,700 to come in and tear out the old one. When I asked what the charge would be if they found that it wasn't that big of a problem they told me it was the fee regardless. Needless to say I called a different company and they fixed it for far less. Avoid!!!! read more

These guys/gals are flipping amazing, have used them before and they proved why they have a max rating tonight. Had a drain clog issue and called them up, was advised of an extra fee for the after hours call out and had no problem with it. I was advised that someone would be by in an hour and the gentleman called and said he could be here early and showed up thirty minutes earlier than planned -- totally badass. I had already pulled my toilet trying to clear the drain myself with no luck, the gentleman came up, looked at my drain, brought his power drain snake in and had the drain cleared in less than 10 minutes. I did not realize Drainmasters were not professional plumbers. We were not getting water to our toilets. My husband called this company to come out and take a look. I stayed home and told them that my husband had changed the valve and the hose. I failed to tell them he had also changed the angle stop. The person they sent out changed all the same parts my husband had already done and wanted to charge us over $700. My husband came home and was talking to the person that did the work, only to find out he was not even a licensed plumber. The person stated he was only the vacuum truck driver and their plumber was on vacation. My husband was livid. My husband is not a confrontational person, yet he called the supervisor. All they could do was to reduce the price to $500. $500 for work my husband had already done. Needless to say, we had real plumbers come to our house and fixed the problem within an hour for less than $300. Drainmasters is a rip off and don't even send certified licensed plumbers. Would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Avoid. They charge $59 to come out and access the problem then present you with a number of severely overpriced options. No discussion of what they felt needed to be done to address the problem, just choices that you need to make for them to perform. For my issue I had a clogged drain and they presented options from snaking the drain for slightly over $300 to a camera and water jet for north of $600. Call a real plumber, that's what I did. I called him at 10am hoping I may be able to schedule something next week, because I have had no luck in getting a plumber, and living in a trailer makes it even more difficult. Cody and Cord, our technicians on this job, we're both competent and courteous throughout. They got right to work and were happy to keep us informed every step of the way. They even advised us as to when certain aspects of the work would be done so we could observe what the camera was recording inside the pipes. The job took 4 days and involved jackhammering up a floor, but when they were done, they ensured that the job site was thoroughly cleaned up and order restored. We discovered that our sewer lines are cast iron and almost 50 years old. Drain Masters came out and inspected the entire sewer line from the house to where it connects to the city sewer line. They let us watch as the technician ran the camera down the line and pointed out where existing issues were and spots that were likely to become issues in the future. They explained in detail what we were seeing, how issues happened, and what could/would happen if the issues were left as-is. The two gentlemen that did this inspection, Henry and Gerald, were very professional, considerate, and knowledgeable. They were very patient in explaining things to me and made sure I understood what I was seeing. Once we agreed to have them line the pipes to restore them, they got us on the schedule quickly. The crew that came in to do the work, Roger and Ian, made sure that I was kept informed of the progress, didn't mind that my dog kept laying down right in their path - his way of getting more attention :-) - and were focused on making sure the job was done right rather than just getting it done. Called Drain masters he brought the correct equipment and a camera after 1 1/2 hours cleared the clog and then cleaned the pipe out. We got a copy of the video also.
