I went to this facility because all other Urgent Cares were closed at 9pm on a Saturday. They were nice enough & was in & out in a good timeframe. But they misinformed me that they could not use a local on my laceration because it was on my finger & the capillaries are too small. So with stitches off the table, I opted for glue. I found it odd that they didn't try to push the sides of the cut together. So as the glue wore off, I had a large open gash. I used steri-strips (left over from a previous surgery) to close the wound. Today at another dr appt, I asked my surgeon about using a local on fingers & he said that is ridicules & he noted that they absolutely should have stitched it. It is gonna be a bad scar. Luckily its just on my finger. Altho my first response to them was positive, as the wound heals, I'm seeing a bad outcome now. read more

Took forever. They weren't even busy. They shouldn't give the option to choose a time slot for an appt if they can't even come close to honoring it. Waited well over an hour in an exam room and not once did someone come in and say we'll be with you shortly. Long story short- eventually left Drakos without being seen and went to Wellnow and was in and out in about 35 minutes. Plus they have a real slushie machine and pac-man game in the waiting room which my sick child def enjoyed read more

We had a poor experience yesterday. We waited 2 hours. When I asked how long I was told we were next 45 min in. When I asked again an hour later I was told they do not have many providers on and didn't know. I understand not having staff, but the 3 nurses were sitting around laughing and eating. Someone could have provided some communication to us out of courtesy, rather than leaving us in a room. They were not the most pleasant. read more

Had such a good experience at this very recently opened pediatric urgent care center. They're located in a corner office building that a sign on the building but not in the listing out front. Once you enter the building, the office is directly through the door and to the left. They have lots of parking and free wifi. Pro-tip, if you have the option, a pediatric-focused urgent care business is ALWAYS better than adult urgent care, particularly for stitches and radiology. Children are not small adults. And if you need urgent care in the area of Syracuse, this is a great option. Bonus, the Kinney pharmacy is 4 minutes away and you can pick up prescriptions and medical supplies easily. There are a few Kinneys, so make sure you know which one to use! Right off the bat, booking online is really convenient. But if you have to wait to be seen, it's clean and cozy in the waiting room, with a bubbler, a TV playing nature shows, and lots of activities for kids. I didn't wait long, but only one person was ahead of me. You can fill out all of the forms online and they mostly auto fill, which is helpful. The staff from front desk to the paramedic doing intake/vitals, to the NP were fantastic. Great bedside manner! All the equipment is top-notch, likely because they're new, and it's super clean. I appreciated that they offered those flavor ice popsicles and adorable popsicle holders you can take home to make the experience positive for the sick kiddos. They have an on-site PCR that provides highly reliable COVID and strep results in about 30 mins, as well as the usual rapids. Can't speak to experience with broken bones or lacerations at this site, but they are equipped for all of it and do have on-site radiology. While they're currently not able to bill insurance directly, that should change soon and they provide all the paperwork so you can submit the emergency claim to your insurance yourself - very classy! And if you're paying out of pocket, the baseline cost is $98 and testing costs more. All testing options were clearly communicated in advance and there was zero sense of upcharging or anything like that. It was fairly priced expert medical care in a clean facility. We went to the adult drakos on 31, and I have to say we are so impressed. My husband was very sick, and the emergency room was a 7 to 9 hour wait. They gave him an IV for dehydration and they took care of him so well we were in and out within a few hours. I'm not sure how the pediatric part is, but I will say the adult urgent care was way better than I've experienced in years. Thank you Drakos! read more

Just took my sister there as she felt something pop in a knee she had replaced 2yrs ago. Her pain was bad, trouble walking, etc. Figured she could get an xray there quicker. Yeah NO. After a difficult walk down the hallway, with a walker, we were told it would be a 3 1/2 to 4hr wait! There was only one person in the waiting room. She couldn't sit in those low chairs for that amount of time. I asked them to call an ambulance as her pain was rapidly increasing and she could no longer walk, and the guy behind the desk said NO ! That they don't call because she's not a patient yet so they don't want liability?!? Huh?? Then I asked for a wheelchair to get her to the car so I could call from the parking lot. And he said NO! I kid you not. Same lame explanation as before. So if someone had a heart attack on the premises they're not going call an ambulance?? So I called from the hallway, her in a chair in the hallway and waited for the ambulance, which took her to the hospital. Don't run in there for any emergency help, there's nothing "urgent" about them. Update, she ended up with water on the knee, one night in hospital and a week of recovery. This place is a joke, all they had to do was xray her knee. read more

If I could, I would give them no stars. They are a horrible medical facility and I doubt they have qualified medical staff working there. I went in, provided my insurance card, which they claimed they accept, then they declined accept it. I just got a bill from them for $400 for horrible service. I went in for a sinus infection, they did not give me any medication. Ran a covid, flu, and rsv rapid test, I didn't get my results for an entire week. I called and they wouldn't even give them to me over the phone, and I was the patient. My husband took my son in for an ear infection. Their "doctor" and I question that title, told my husband our son had a heart defect...strange his real doctor never caught it and he's almost 5. Then they refused to give myself, my husband, or my son's doctor his medical records. We had to threaten them with a law suit to get his records. We took my son to his doctor, who again, did not find a heart defect in my son. My recommendation, don't go there! They are horrible, not friendly, and I really question their medical background and their ability to to conduct their job with efficacy. read more
