My first visit for back pain was a diagnostic meeting that we couldn't finish because the pain was so severe. Courtney called off the session. After a few weeks of steroid treatments I came back in better shape and completed several weeks of therapy with constant concern for my pain level and excellent results. The knee replacement therapy requires painful knee manipulation which Courtney did professionally, along with strengthening and flexibility exercises. Again, the treatments were very effective. I also had a good home therapy plan both times which also helped. This is the place to go.

Even while she emphasized that I would not get the results I wanted if I did not do my exercises. This is what I tell my friends: If you ever need physical therapy DO the exercises. They work! My time at therapy was a great learning experience. The atmosphere was comfortable and professional. I learned quite a bit about how my body is meant to function physically. Observing other therapists added to my experience. They cared for and interacted well with patients. Thank you, Madden & Gilbert for helping me in my time in need. My life is easier now. I received care prior to surgery to strengthen my legs and core and post therapy care after my knee replacement. Jared works with you and if a certain exercise seems to cause pain or discomfort, he offers another exercise that accomplishes the same thing. Jared is extremely knowledgeable about the body and how the muscled and tendons work which helped me understand why I am doing a certain exercise. After the initial consultation,…read moreI returned to the office to review my options and see what the recommend treatment plan was. The total cost was $7200.00 for treatment (out of pocket insurance does not cover any cost) and I had to decide on the spot, that day if I wanted the services or not. When asked if I could have time to think about it first, I was told no. I was promised that 6 months of therapy was like 7 years of psychiatric therapy. Out of desperation I elected to take the therapy offered. Over the next 3 months of weekly appointments, I was given over 25 different supplements; some I only took for two or three weeks. I laid on a table and had different little bottles placed on my chest. After 10 minutes, I was given a list of what supplements to take and then put on a machine that swayed me from side to side. Only four actual appointments addressed the different traumas I had experienced throughout my life, and I was asked to put my hands in weird positions, then asked to embrace the moment of trauma, not how to release it, feel better, stop obsessing over it or strategies to decrease my depression/PTSD. I put my trust in the doctor, and it was an absolute failure. I called the office and told them I was not coming in anymore, expressed my reasons why and was refunded $1900. I do not recommend this practice. It was a waste of time and money.

I walked out of the first well known therapy center after showing up for my first appointment and being told they wouldn't treat Me without a mask on. I was having A good amount of pain and did not want to make myself any more uncomfortable by wearing a face mask. I drove right over to Fyzical after learning i would not Be forced to wear a face mask in their establishment. Staff was welcoming and beyond accomadating with a personalized plan to get rid of my pain. my therapist, Melissa P, really listened to what was going on and with her treatment and my work at home on exercises she gave me, I was pain free in about 2 months. I am now back at the fitness classes i Always enjoyed and never thought I'd be able to participate in again. This place gave me my lifestyle back and I can't thank them enough!!!
