I swore many years ago, I'd never end up in another rehab and yet it happened. Was so much worse the second time around shame-wise that I didn't think I'd make it through program. Thanks to hard-working staff including Doctors Greg and James, Theresa, Chuck, both Nicoles, Sue, Ashley, Caitlyn, Natasha and ALL the nursing crew, I was able to do it b/c they all loved me when I wasn't able to even look in mirror, let alone love myself again. I will never forget their determination/dedication to fight for me and all the other clients blessEd enough to make it to arkview. Side note: My first rehab I was sent somewhere that took me w/out any insurance so it was bare bones and relied on welfare/donations and food banks. This time I was blessed to have decent insurance that was accepted at arkview. The differences were astronomical from round the clock nursing staff(thank you for tending to me overnights Rose and Laura), professionally-run daily classes/seminars, unwavering supportive techs and even having a chef to prepare most meals. I have been to 5 rehabs in my lifetime and this is by far the worst rehab I have ever been to…read morebefore. The doctors are extremely neglectful. I came to him with an ear infection and he prescribed me allergy meds. I asked if it was infected or allergies he said "it looks gooey" . Like???! I'd consider that medical neglect cause that can easily spread to the brain. They lost my phone charger, the only one I have. And then when I said something they tried playing dumb. The food is disgusting. The place is dirty and has mold. When I went in my bedroom the night I got here there was mold on the trash can so they don't even clean the rooms before they move someone in it. They do not clean the showers. They made up copays for my medication and then try to swipe my card for the made up copays without consulting me. The financial advisor constantly harassed me to pay my copay and each time I told her I had no job money and was homeless before I came in, she'd just say "it's not a lot of money" and it is for someone who doesn't have any job or money! I had to have a higher up talk to her to get her to leave me alone. I was sexually harassed by a patient and when I reported it they did absolutely nothing about it. This place disgusts me and I am very angry and unhappy. I would rather shit in my hands and clap than ever step foot in this place again
