We had our grandma with us for the family session (who's 80+ years old and walks slow), but Lyka was so patient and waited for her to move from one place to the next. I had Nancy do photo session with my daughter Alexa, she was 3 months old then. The session started in early morning, Nancy wanted to make sure that we caught good light that will compliment my daughter and she really paid a lot of attention to the background, the pictures have this amazing morning freshness. Working with babies is the hardest because they simply don't know how to pose and they are not patient but Nancy was good in directing her. We got to the session and it turned out that Alexa got hungry so we had to feed her but Nancy was was super patient and was setting up the background, picking up the blankets that will look best against Alexa's skin color. I absolutely love the ultramarine blue that she picked for her. She made all of us feel very comfortable. Even though the session was for my daughter she decided to take coupe shots of me and my husband, she even included our dog in few shots. It turned out to be the best photo session that we had, not only Alexa got great shots but me and my husband as well. As we all know kids grow so fast and Nancy was able to capture very precious moments that will stay with us forever! Alexa looks very sweet and playful on the pictures. She was super easy to find in Sutton heights park and as she promised, there was loads of parking right by. Kimberly could not have been better with our 6 month old, bringing out all the stops to ensure we had a smiley baby in our holiday card. KC was hired as my wedding photographer - showed up way early to scope out the venue, so that was definitely 1 less thing i had to think about on my special day.. she took many portrait shots with family and friends and a whole bunch of more artistic shots - my dress, my shoes, the vineyard... my wedding photos were 'dreamy'-like, i wouldn't have wanted anyone else to do them. Fast forward a year and I needed some maternity shots. (was big as a house and avoided most photo ops because everything was uncomfortable and i felt blah). KC made sure to remind me way ahead of time of which week we'd do maternity photos and then came and help make suggestions of makeup and hair styles that would a) work with what i have at home b) work with what effort i didn't want to put in - even help me set the curls, etc. I'm so glad to have those photos to remember the process by! When KC found out i set my date for the hospital, she checked in to see when I'd given birth to set up the newborn session! talk about follow-through (as one can imagine, my head didn't have too much space for non labor-related details). She came all the way to my house and set up the nursery room to be super comfortable for the baby. Being a new mom i was super concerned with how the baby will do but KC worked her magic! She pulled all the tricks she had to made sure the baby was happily content and just let her take whatever photos she wanted! During the hour-long session the baby didn't fuss or wake up at all - amazing! She brought in props and pillows to set the stage, and the result didn't disappoint.. my parents were in awe over the photos, and we're absolutely delighted (so delighted that we plan to make 2 versions of birth announcement cards with the photos!) Throughout the years I've used KC's photo services for all my special occasions, her great eye for taste has not change but refined over the years. We don't have paintings in our house, rather the only 'artist' we hang on our walls here are all the beautiful photos KC took of our life, our milestones. I had met Pamela and could just tell she was a good person - you know how you just know sometimes. My wife is pregnant and we had gone back and forth between wanting to do maternity photos and not. We decided just a few days before my wife left for Japan that we wanted to do them so I contacted Pamela. Pamela was great - her rates were really reasonable and she totally accommodated our very short and last minute time frame. She didn't rush us during our appointment and didn't charge us extra for going over our 1 hour time limit just slightly. Best of all, we got a CD with all of the photos in high res, no watermarks, just a few days after our shoots. I don't know about you but it seemed crazy to pay someone a few hundred dollars just to take the photos after which they blackmail you into buying photos from their overpriced provider unless you want to pay another $400 for the CD. Even though there are usually only a handful of REALLY good shots, I want all of them, and I want them in High res and royalty free - that's what we got with Pamela. The photos came out fantastic, the experience was wonderful and the price was very reasonable - what more can you ask for.
