She captured our family of four so nicely and was able to get our two kids (ages 1 and 4 at the time) to actually smile, look at the camera, and stay in some adorable poses, while still capturing the essence of their personalities. She is very detail oriented and quickly corrected any poor postures or anything out of place. She really helped me to narrow down the prints I ended up purchasing. There were so many great ones that it was hard to choose! The quality of the prints and the canvas was spectacular and will be treasured by our family for years to come. We did a second family session with her just this September with our kids (now 2 and 5) and once again had such a great experience. We had to reschedule a couple of times due to my kids being sick, and I really appreciate her responsiveness, understanding, and flexibility. The photo session was so much fun! She is such a joy to work with. It started by Kathleen telling the parents they needed to stand behind her. This was more than a reasonable request so we all moved so she could take the photo. Then of course preschoolers are hectic, especially 2 year olds and they began acting out. They had already all taken individual pictures by now. Kids were crying some covering their faces or had their hands in their ears. My daughter also began covering her face and acting out. I let her do it a few mins and then intervened and asked my daughter to please take her hands off her face or no park and Kathleen proceeds to snap at me , you need to be quiet!! So I hush then another parent is shaking her keys at the kids to get their attention and she snaps stop!! She proceeded to snap rudely at several other parents who were trying to assist in getting the kids to behave. We were all standing behind her with our mouths open bc none of us could believe she was behaving this way!!! You're in a 2 year old preschool class!!!!!! She then begins saying the kid in the bow get your hands off your face!!! The kid with his hands in his ears knock it off. Just awful!! To take the cake she then told the children they needed to be quiet?!!!!! First they are 2 secondly why do they need to be quiet it isn't a video it's a 2 year old pre preschool picture!!!! If I was the teacher I simply would've asked this woman to leave. I don't even want to give her my money because she made me sick. Anyone who can be rude to children shouldn't be in this profession. I hope the preschool will not invite Ms. Ahern to return because she is not cut out to work with children or people in general until she can learn to treat people with respect even two year olds!! Perhaps Ms. Ahern wasn't present in kindergarten when they taught the golden rule, " treat others as we wish to be treated!"

We are beyond pleased that we booked Sarah to photograph our courthouse wedding ceremony! From the…read morevery beginning, she was communicative and made the entire process so easy. Before the wedding, we had a video call to get to know each other and discuss the timeline, and Sarah had us complete a short questionnaire to make sure all our requested group photo combinations were covered. It was also important to us that our dog be included, and we were happy to learn she has plenty of experience photographing animals. What impressed us most was how prepared she was. A few days before the wedding, Sarah visited the courthouse around the same time we planned to take outdoor photos so she could evaluate the lighting and scout the best backdrops. On the wedding day, Sarah made great use of every moment, capturing details like my bouquet and our rings during downtime. She beautifully documented both the ceremony and our outdoor portraits. Since we're not used to being in front of the camera, her prompts helped us look natural and relaxed. Sarah also did an amazing job photographing our dog and recreating inspiration photos I had saved on Pinterest. She delivered both previews and our full gallery promptly. It is evident through Sarah's photos that she is amazing at capturing joy and happiness. We really enjoyed working with her, and she made us feel so at ease while being photographed. As they will be with you all day, it's important to have someone capture your wedding who is relaxed and fun, and Sarah was that and more. Sarah's photos are incredibly beautiful, capturing all of the color that we had on our wedding day. She knew the best lighting, angles, and poses that made us look so good! Working with Rob Seeley Photography was a great experience. We first met to talk about what type…read moreof photography we would want for our engagement photos. You could tell that he was listening carefully to who we were and what we liked. He suggested a beautiful winery location in Livermore which we were in agreement with. Rob took care of all the arrangements. We also let Rob know that we wanted our dog in some of the photos. He was pleased to work with our dog and after further discussion we found out he was a dog owner as well. That became very obvious when he was working with us and our dog because he knew how to get the dog's attention for the photos. Our dog loved him! The great thing about working with Rob was that you could tell he knew photography very well and wanted to make our photos the best that he could make them. He took his time looking at the location beforehand so when we arrived he knew exactly where to place us for the very best photos. He was also very open to listening to our opinions and having fun with some photos. After the photos were taken we didn't have to wait long for the photos to be delivered to us. They turned out great and we were able to use some of them for our Christmas Card this year. We were so pleased with the photography we received from Rob Seeley Photography.
