I purchased a voucher as a bday gift for my bf a few months ago. We waited for the weather to get a bit warmer before finally making the trip to Mohegan Sun. They travel around the country so be sure to check which dates are available for this location. Finding the location is tricky. It's literally sectioned off on the side of a highway. You can just take a shuttle bus from the resort if it's easier. He chose the Lamborghini driving experience. Originally, he was only scheduled for 5 laps but they kept changing his appointment. As a courtesy, they comped an extra 2 laps which was nice. We had to wait about 45 minutes before his turn. Overall, he loved it and I highly recommend this as gift for anyone who's into exotic cars. It makes visiting Mohegan Sun that much more exciting! read more

The overall experience was disappointing. I had my day rescheduled with only a weeks notice. Thankfully the next day available was the following day. The day of the event I received a text explaining that the car I chose was not available, so I had to settle for a GTR or Corvette. Once I arrived, there was very little direction and it was very unclear on where we had to check in. The women was very rude and was seriously lacking customer service skills. I feel like I was definitely judged and borderline scolded when I declined the insurance. I settled on the GTR, which was a disappointment. The car was so heat soaked it was severely underpowered. The instructor said it has to stay in automatic mode. No big deal, I figured it would still be fun. The tires broke loose extremely easy and were in terrible condition After the drive I realized they installed Sumitomo tires, literally the bottom of the barrel tires. Nissan never intended these tires to be on this car. Looking at the Ferrari, they put crusade tires on that one. Worse than sumitomo! I am shocked this is acceptable for an exotic driving experience. read more

I took two of my friends along with me to the driving experience in Yonkers yesterday and overall was very disappointed in the whole experience. Firstly the woman at the front desk was an absolute misery and was extremely rude to every customer. Instead of welcoming us and saying hello, she looked at us and said "can you see i'm busy". I even said to her slow down, you're being super rude! She spoiled the whole experience and should really not be in that role of any customer service role. The driving was fun, however no direction was given or excitement came from the guys with you in the car, it was very much a churn and go experience. 1) The cars are not looked after and super dirty inside and out 2) The experience is over in 2 minutes Overall not worth the $199 per person and OVERALL could be a much better experience and i would recommend it if the staff were friendly. Bought this "experience" on Groupon for Phoenix, AZ. Fine print did not disclose that there were only 2 dates available in 2017... in December! I called Groupon Customer service over a month ago to complain that it was short and not as advertised.( Was over in seconds) Groupon said they would look into it, but i never heard back. Ive done other versions of this type of thing with other companies and this was the shortest track ( really just cones set up in a puny parking lot) and least impressive driving event ive ever done. Cones set up in a tiny parking lot. Really?! Were at a race track and were stuck in a parking lot?! Couldn't even rev the car hardly before i had to brake the setup was so small. Avoid! It really was underwhelming. I thought it would be WAY cooler than it was. When we got there and there were no signs, no one to be found anywhere, I'm calling the company trying to figure out where to go. The # goes to a machine. We are freaking out thinking we were scammed. Finally walking around an empty track we found someone. When we get to the right place the girl at the table's initial response to us mentioning there should be signs was pretty rude. We see the "track" and I immediately wanted my money back, which wasn't an option of course. It was no more than a TINY autocross track... as someone who often Autocross races, it was a pretty poor one at that. You barely get up to any speed, what's the point of driving a supercar, if you can't test its limits AT ALL! I get insurance/ safety etc... but you require us to get the added insurance which is a total waste! NO ONE is damaging your cars in an empty parking lot of cones when you aren't allowed to go over 50MPH. But kudos to you for a great money-making business model!! What we really got was a couple of really expensive pictures in front of a cool car. & at that, the person taking them was CLEARY not a photographer! The pictures are overexposed. I purchased a Groupon for my boyfriend to attend the May 11 Danbury Exotic Dream Drive. I work in Public Relations and can only tell you we both feel as if we were just scammed by a Nigerian prince who offered us his family fortune in exchange for a small check. The website has deceivingly attractive photos and hugely misleading. After driving an hour to get to the Danbury Fair parking lot and driving around in circles to find the autocross course..we knew we had been duped. At 2:15 while we were driving the hour to the event, we received an email that all but two of the cars had broken down. We were driving and therefore not on our phones and not reading emails. This is an exotic dream drive??? Two cars available for driving with an hours long wait as the other cars shown online were not even available or had broken down??? Visually, when arriving, course looked like my kids' Safety Town tricycle course when they were in kindergarten Not only was a course not even clearly marked, but all the cones were scattered, knocked over. The nice representative at the table tried to her best to explain that a reckless driver had broken the axle on the Ferrari and the MacCleran had overheated???? Where was the other Ferrari, the Audi...and the other cars promoted online and in Groupon. Personally, I was embarrassed I had dragged my boyfriend an hour to Danbury on a Saturday. I was offended that this was even marketed as a driving challenge after observing the two young men burning rubber in tiny circles while waving their hands out the window... I really thought we had arrived at a bumper car ride at a local carnival with folding chairs scattered all around and dozens of people waiting their turn. read more

This experience was overall a little disappointing. The track was small and though they say the cars don't have a governor on them, they clearly do. The car was restricted until the straight-away on the last lap. In addition the cars shown on the website under cars are not the same cars that they run on the track. So don't get attached to the photo. The staff was nice and the cars still look cool. It just isn't quite what they or you build it up to be. Advice: if you do it, purchase the ride along. That was the best part of the experience plus it let's you get used to the track before you take the wheel. read more

The "track" was in a shopping mall parking lot with cones. What a joke. Three laps for a total of maybe a total of a half a mile for $150. Top speed you could get was maybe 40 mph and then you had to brake hard to make a turn. The rest of the lap maybe 30 mph. I had more fun driving go carts than driving this Lamborghini. Then they want to sell you pictures and videos of this thrilling adventure. Save your money. read more

My experience was close to Israel M's, but I could not get an appointment for the 2nd day. The next option was during my already planned vacation, so I asked for a refund for the additional items I had purchased. After a second call they sent a refund confirmation letter, but 2 months later I still have not received the refund. Now when I call I get a permanent busy signal. Also note, buying this deal through Groupon, you do not get a refund on the original $99 you paid to Groupon. read more

My daughters purchased a Groupon for 5 laps in an Exotic Car at the Houston Motor Speedway, what a joke. My first impression of the whole thing was that of a cheap carnival setup in a grocery store parking lot, and it get worse from there. The McLaren MP4 I drove was either missing a turbo or throttled back so bad that it was less thrilling than taking off in my Acura RDX with half of the factory horsepower. The Autocross style cone setup they put together was so small that I was able to complete 5 laps in 2:33! That is crazy for how slow this car was. I spent another $150 on top of the $100 my daughters spent in extras. They should be ashamed of themselves. SAVE YOUR MONEY and do not do this. read more
