We absolutely LOVE our new home in Magnolia Park. We couldn't have been any happier with the low pressure sales we experienced and the quality of our home. Our builder, Tunde and sales rep, Dawn were available to answer every question we've had. In the past, we built 3 custom homes and had more issues with those by far, so I would recommend checking out Dream Finders and see for yourself how nice the community is and the quality of the homes. I have purchased new construction homes 4 times. While every production builder tends to have a lack of attention to detail and care for the consumer, Dream Finders is by far the very worst experience I or my husband has ever had. From the abysmal painting job - watered down the paint so much it barely covers the walls and marks up if anything comes in contact with the wall; failed to put in appliances and fixtures as shown in the look book, stating that they changed the order or were mistaken, but fail to provide similar quality products as those paid for; withheld information about failing structural inspections and lied openly about reasons for delays; didn't want customers taking a look at their homes during construction - because they didn't want you to see all the short cuts they were taking. It's been over 9 months since closing on my Dream Finders Homes built house. I'm still waiting for repairs/installations of faulty and or missing items, some of which were promised at closing. Sloppy work, poor craftsmanship, defective items and missing fixtures is what I'm living with in my brand new house. I would never build another house with them nor recommend Dream Finders Homes to anyone else. read more

Do Not be fooled. they sell and then push the paperwork through so fast it's like buying a timeshare. Nice agent Jillian Gerber really couldn't care less, just like other realtors in this area. Couldnt have made a worse decision than working with these people. they just want the money to pour into their account. If you are considering using this builder for a new home RUN as quick as you can to a different builder. I have had nothing but problems with Dream Finders Homes since I went under contract in January 2022 with a projected move in of September 2022. I sent them three deposits starting in January 2022 however my new home build was not even started until April 2023. I finally moved in late August 2023 and had multiple problems with plumbing and plumbing fixtures (before and after move in) and DF did send out their plumbing sub to make repairs however in September 2024 during month 13 (read 'out of one year workmanship warranty') during normal usage by one average sized person the floor pan in the master shower cracked. I will say that the shower was horrible from the get-go with an unsafe 10" step in plus an additional 1 inch or more door frame, inability to access water controls without getting all the way into the shower, a large built in corner seat right at the door opening, no grab bars...I could go on and on! Back to the crack...DF came out to inspect (take a photo) and did send the same plumbing sub out to take a look at the crack but without any investigation they were quick to blame the manufacturer and informed me that it would be a lot of steps for them to file a claim. Not only did I not want that same plumbing sub doing any additional work in my home I was not in a position to wait an undetermined amount of time for a resolution so I hired my own contractor who replaced the entire system, including the plumbing. This was at my expense. During demo of the old crap the contractor called me in as he was getting ready to pull out the cracked pan section and we were both horrified at what we saw. The floor pan was barely supported in one small area by two pieces of lumber that were not attached to anything or to each other and there were only three or four small blobs of spayed in foam. This was clearly an improper installation so I took photos, sent them to DF in an email requesting some sort of compensation and after several weeks was told they were "not able to cover any of it". Since this was an improper installation by one of DF subs that failed way before it should have I still believe I should be compensated. I submitted a claim with the Better Business Bureau but they have had so many complaints filed against them the I will probably have no alternative but to endure the hassle of taking them to court. That reminds me, I have requested the name and contact info for their registered agent several times with no answer...not surprised that they they are unwilling to step up to the plate. Horrible business practices especially considering that a home is probably the largest purchase a person will make during their lifetime. This is my first home purchase and was intended to be forever...what a disappointing experience and it has negatively affected how I think of new home builders in general and makes me wish I was still a renter! read more
