I have relocated to Bluffton from St. Louis and renting a home through Foreshore. Courtney originally helped us finding a home that would allow us to move in all of our furniture. She took the time to conduct a video call to show us the house to make sure we were comfortable with making the decision. After moving in we have had a few minor maintenance requests that were addressed immediately. Both Josh and Ben have been extremely responsive (within an hour) and were able to address our needs very professionally. You don't find that kind of service much anymore. If I could give a zero rating, I would. We lived in our rental in Bluffton for 2 years, never paid rent late and barely asked for maintenance help when things weren't working correctly. In the end, ForeShore has NO INTENTION of giving your deposit back. They expect you to repaint every wall if you hang a picture. They also charge you for bulbs out on the microwave, which weren't out that we knew of before we moved out. They also make you pay for a full carpet cleaning which costs 500-600.00 and only their approved cleaning company to deep clean your house which also costs between 500-600. So, they get their money from your deposit and charge ridiculous amounts so you don't get it back. We paid $2795.00 and we were sent a check for $10.00. This rental company is out to make as much money as they can, and screw the renters. Please make sure to read every fine print on your lease. They do NOT CARE about anyone but their growth in revenue. Beware. And the outside "realtor" people are extremely rude and condescending. I am a 48 year old professional and have NEVER not received more than 2/3 of my deposit. So, just know that your deposit is not refundable when it comes to this money hungry company. They have a monopoly in Bluffton b/c of the demand there. Good for them. They messed with our livelihood and took our hard-earned money b/c they suck! read more

We highly recommend ForeShore for their professionalism, attention to detail, and honesty. We had to rent a house when we first moved to Bluffton and despite meeting with several property managers, we immediately felt comfortable with them. The property was as described, regular landscaping and other scheduled maintenance happened on time, and our questions were answered in a swift manner. We have been with Foreshore for more than 8 years and have had nothing but great experiences. Imagine this, Foreshore is operated by humans and humans are not perfect regardless of how some other reviewers view themselves. In our area there are so many entitled, self-absorbed, self-centered, and unreasonable people that it is not shocking to see some of the reviews on here. Brian and his team are honest, hard-working people with their customer's best interests at-heart. Are they perfect? Not all of the time. Do they care? Absolutely! I have been a part time landlord for decades but when we purchased 3 condos in the Bluffton/HHI area in 2011 I knew I needed a local property manager. We chose Foreshore and couldn't be more pleased! They have been wonderful. We sold one unit in 2017. Brian pointed out an important observation that of which our realtor had not clue. Saved us a lot of money with the sale. This week, when a tenant left one of our other units in Bluffton I found I was over my head in thinking I could paint the place in short notice (no notice actually). He wasn't able to so he asked me if his wife could help since she was available for two days between shifts. April did a Great job and we were able to complete the job in two days just in time to put it on the market. That is "above and beyond" on a property Foreshore understood would no longer be using their services. Brian and his staff are great! I can't imagine better. read more

Brian is a nice guy and and means well but in my opinion, his vetting skills are seriously lacking. We used Foreshore over a two year period with two separate tenants. The first couple and their three children caused over 9,500 in damages and numerous complaints from neighbors, POA security and the property owners association. The second tenant was described as an elderly couple that were downsizing and desired single floor living. They were habitually late with their payments and we had several calls for problems with the electrical system and calls about plumbing backing up. This seemed very strange and ended up costing over 1,400.00 in service calls. Today we found out why the plumbing and electric were having issues. Shortly after moving in, the "retired couple" moved their adult son and his wife and their EIGHT children!!! Yes, four adults and 8 children WILL wreak havoc on the plumbing. Brian visited the property several times I find it difficult to believe Brian wasn't aware of the situation and he never reported it to us. Upon moving out, Brian went in to clean the house and couldn't believe the condition. Shocking, the brand new carpet, replaced because of the previous tenants, ruined. The brand new 1,800.00 microwave oven combination, ruined. If you are considering using Foreshore I strongly recommend you do your own background check on the prospective tenants and put strong language in about eviction. Lastly, get a big security deposit I'm out around 14,000.00. Of course this is all my opinion based on my experience and Brian is a nice guy just make sure that what he tells you about potential tenants is documented and accurate. read more
