Our experience at Dream-I has been so amazing. We've sent two kids through the program and they both absolutely love the activities, teachers, and amazing food that they offer. If we hadn't moved, we definitely would put out youngest through the program once she turns 2 as well. Every month they have a theme that they explore, and every day is a different activity related to that theme. The activities are so much more than the traditional preschool activities of cheerio letters and painting single letters over and over again. Searching around for schools when your child reaches the age of a pre schooler can be one of the most stressful things you can do. I googled, went on Facebook groups, Reddit, you name it. I visited dozens of schools and when I found dream-I, I knew right away this was the school for my daughter. Other schools gave me quick tours then asked if I wanted to be on a waiting list. I didn't get to ask much questions or understand the curriculum and environment of the school. Dream I did an in depth one-on-one tour for me and my kid which ended up being around an hour or so. They explained every little thing they do and let me ask ALL the questions I had. And was patient about it lol Michelle and Chad have made sure my child was going to be in a safe and nurturing but also academically growing space. My child has grown so much in the past few months and comes home with A wealth of knowledge! One day she came home reciting the solar system, then the days of the week and more! I am confident that dream I is not only keeping my child safe but making sure she as academically growing in the best and funnest way possible. Very happy with my kids progress. read more

My son started at Dream I when he was about 2.5 yo. Dream I's teachers are so attentive! He was so eager to go to school ever since he started there. The lunches are very yummy and has a variety of items, especially some asian items that my son is more accustomed to. He learned to speak English with his friends awhile keeping his Chinese at home. I think the best thing you can do for your little one is to find a place where they feel safe and nurtured, all while being educated in a way that engages their little minds to the fullest. The journey to find that place is pretty long for 1st time parents, like myself. And to add COVID to the mix, that journey was even longer. For our family, Dream I could not have been a better fit. From a theme based learning system which incorporates STEAM, to fresh hot delicious meals daily, and a beyond amazing teachers and staff, I could not recommend highly enough to consider sending your littles ones to this school. My little one started school 7 months ago, just coming out of our COVID bubble, she went from saying basic sentences to express her needs to now having full on conversations about everything. She went from just knowing abc's and 123 to now knowing about all the planets, types of weather, days of the week, and so much more. They teach children with art, science, math, imagination, music, physics and feeling, all while teaching them structure, interpersonal skills, and independence that I did not see in other preschool programs, which encourages all types of learning for all the kids so they learn together. Dream I also provides a nutritious hot lunch, filled with various spices, veggies, and fruits on a rotating schedule, not to mention breakfast and snacks. It's like getting a home cook lunch daily, which I really do appreciate. My daughter now loves broccoli, carrots, and curry! The staff and teachers are beyond amazing. Ms. Michelle, Ms. Sandra, and Mr. Chad are always quick to answer questions, and I honestly feel like they have the best interest of all the kids at Dream I at heart. And the teachers, I can't thank them enough for making my daughter love school. She's never once cried about waking up in the morning, and still get's excited about Monday because she gets to go learn and play. And I as a parent, look forward to picking her up to learn about what she did that day through her eyes. And lastly, I appreciate Dream I for up holding safety above all others, all the staff, teachers, and children still wear masks and get temperature checks daily. Although I am happy to report they are lifting that guideline, knowing that they have everyone's health in mind has been a fresh breath of air. I believe having a good start in education can make a tremendous impact on a young child that can last a lifetime. Our daughter started attending Dream-I BP around 2.5 yo and she loved it from day 1. She absolutely adores all her teachers (including the administrators) and looks forward to going to school everyday! It's clear that everyone is very attentive and our daughter is well cared for--during pick-ups the director or an admin brings our daughter out and provides a quick verbal update (i.e., how she interacted with friends, how much of her lunch she finished, how long she slept for, etc.). We are very happy with the curriculum as well. Each month has a theme (e.g., solar system, community, five senses, etc.) and we receive the monthly calendar with the daily activity schedule. Through the themes and activities, she gets exposed to many different concepts and sometimes even teaches me new things! She definitely knows more about the solar system than I do (like the names of the dwarf planets). The school plans special activities/events for the children throughout the year. They invited a petting zoo to the school where the children got to pet and feed some animals and even ride a pony. When they were learning about trains/vehicles the school had a train come to the school and the children got to experience the entire process of showing their ticket and boarding the train. It's so nice that the children get exposed to so many things and have these experiences in a safe environment. We feel very lucky to have found Dream-I during our search! read more

KPREP program Review My daughter spent her last few months prepping for the kindergarten and I was very happy with her advancement. I wanted her to understand that Kindergarten is an exciting place to be. Especially she got to sharpen her English language skills here and I received her progress report at the end that showed significant improvement along with copies of all her hard work (very large volume of drawings, writing exercises, etc.) that really showed what she was learning and how much she was enjoying the time here. The teachers are very caring and loving to my child and the student to teacher ratio is low enough to know that my child is getting the personal attention she deserve. The school also gave my child an opportunity to train to speak in front of a class and phonics training as well. My daughter spent only one year in a group class setting due to the pandemic and she started slow but dream I undoubtfully brought her up to speed and she is now doing very well in her kindergarten class, and that is all I could have asked her. read more

My 3 year old has been attending Dream I preschool for about 5 months now. Even though I heard many positive things about this school, I was still worried he will have hard time adjusting since he was transferred to Dream I from another preschool. This school proved me wrong. The teachers are so welcoming, well-mannered, and supportive that my son had no issue adjusting to this new school. My son loves going to school and enjoys learning new skills and concepts. I am noticing daily that my son is able to problem solve, regulate his feelings and handle things by himself. My son has been going to Dream I for almost 2 years now and he has been loving every minute of it. Michelle, the director is very connected to the children and knows the status and progress of each one very well. During pickup/drop-off she approaches me with in-depth conversation about my son that surprises me. The teachers are also very engaging and their teaching curriculum is hands-on experience learning versus just tracing letters on pieces of paper. Can't say enough wonderful things about this school. I'd like to think I have lots of experience with different daycares/preschools as my son is now attending his third different school (due to moving and a job change). That being said, Dream-I is an absolute standout for their wonderful admin/teaching staff, facilities, curriculum, and engaging projects/activities for students. The staff made my son's transition beyond seamless and he was so warmly welcomed. Zero tears (can't say the same for previous schools...)! He is thriving there and became comfortable quickly with all the adults and new classmates - I think this is pretty rare. Every week I get to hear about all the interesting things he's learning or a fun experiment or art project he contributed too. In just two months of being at Dream-I, he has brought home more interesting/meaningful art projects and completed activities than he did in a year at his last school (that had a much larger staff and more admin help). I could bore you with even more details (awesome on-site special guests like local librarians, wonderful pumpkin patch and holiday music show experiences, delicious/healthy lunches and snacks that have me jealous of my son as I subside on garbage during the work day, etc), but I'll hit you with the TL;DR: the team that runs Dream-I cares about the quality of education, safety and fun for your kids; they clearly care about their reputation since our experience is far beyond any razzle dazzle in their promotional materials (often the other way around with most anything, especially in America !); and they somehow provide top tier, dedicated care at a super reasonable price when you factor everything in. In a time when the demand for early childhood care is sky high pushing many schools to sell an experience on paper that actuality hardly lives up to (I assume to make a cash grab in student quantity vs experiential quality), Dream-I is doing the opposite. That's a long, gross sentence - but I hope the takeaway is that quality speaks for itself especially via word of mouth. This is my digital version of that. Both of my sons have been with them for the last 4 years. We have been very happy with them. Their curriculum is very creative and by the time my son goes to Kindergarten, he is very well prepared. Dream-I is an amazing school. From outstanding staff and teachers to their educational yet fun program, we are glad and feel lucky we have found this place. We've searched and visited many different prospective preschools closer to our home but chose to drive the extra distance just to have our child attend this school. As a parent, we are cautious and full of questions when it comes to our children. The director, along with staff here, are sincerely nice and patient and makes sure all of your questions are answered so you can rest assured. Most importantly, our child learned so much from here and continues to do so. Dream-I is very attentive to each and every student and is informative of their daily progress which we appreciate very much. If you are in search of finding a preschool, at the very least consider this school. You won't regret it. Our child genuinely loves and enjoys going to Dream-I everyday. read more

Dream-I is a 9.5/10 for me. My only complaint would be that I've never been able to meet or directly speak to my child's teachers. If I have a question, information is relayed by the principal or office staff. My guess is because only students and staff are allowed inside the school for Covid safety. We enrolled in the midst of the the pandemic so I don't have any knowledge of how it was before. That is my only complaint. Now to all of the great aspects.... We chose Dream-I because of it's curriculum and the nutritious lunch. By using project based learning, every month has a theme and well organized activities and crafts to match. Curriculum aside, I'm so happy with our choice in sending our child to Dream-I because I can tell they are so happy. Every night, they goes to sleep excited to go to school the next day. Even during the weekends when we have birthday party and fun outings to go to, they ask when Monday is coming. Dream-I recently transferred information, updates, and parent communication to an app. Communication is quick and so nice for a busy parent to use. read more

We took our twin boys at age 3 (in 2016) after having them at a home daycare full time since they were 18 months. We wanted them to go to a more structured classroom setting with friends their age. We were little concerned that they only had 1 class of 3 year olds, as my boys could get little rowdy when they are together but the administration person kept saying how they have had numerous sets of twins go through their program and they were confident that our boys will do well. It did not take long before realizing we have made a big mistake. While they were charging us "potty training" fee in addition to their monthly fee, they were not doing anything but keeping them in their diapers all day. I only realizes that they were not actually training my boys because they kept asking for more diapers. I was furious because teachers kept telling me to be proactive about potty training at home to enforce what they are teaching at school. so here I am having 2 three yr old toddler boys peeing and pooping everywhere at home and all they were doing at school was taking the money and keeping the boys in the diapers all day. When I asked for an explanation, the admin person said "we were waiting for them to be ready" Anyways, after sending them for a month, I knew I had to pull them out because my kids who loved their old school now hated going to their new school and the teachers inferred that my boys may be autistic. Despite one of the boys having speech delay, neither of them are autistic (nor in spectrum). I do NOT recommend this place. Even though the facility was nice and clean, i felt like the teachers were not professional and judgmental. We eventually sent our kids to stepping stone in La Palma for the next 2 years and they will be attending Kinder this fall. They had no problem adjusting to Stepping Stones. read more

My daughter started at Dream-I a few weeks before turning 3. It only took a week for her to adjust and it's all thanks to her teachers and the activities/curriculum at the school. The school provides us with a monthly calendar of activities and a great menu of meals. Every morning we check the calendar to know what she will learn that day. She's shown so much growth in her behavior and knowledge. It truly surprises me at how much she learns and retains. She is excited about going to school and spending time with her teachers and friends. What more could a parent want! read more

Dream-I has been an exceptional school for our kids. The educational curriculum is top-notch by any standard, and the teachers and staff are amazing. Aside from its stellar academic program, the diversity of extracurricular programs are second to none. My son and daughter absolutely love going to Dream-I and say it's their favorite school of all-time (they have been to a lot of different after-school programs over the years, including overseas). We have noticed a drastic improvement in our children's development in every aspect (reading, writing, social skills, etc.) in just a few months of attendance. Wholeheartedly recommend! read more

I sent my daughter here for Kinder prep, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She loved the teachers, came home with clever art projects, and went on fun fieldtrips. Oh, and apparently she learned a whole bunch because, at her Kinder assessment, the teachers who "tested" her told us that she was a "superstar" and congratulated us for doing such a good job. I felt a bit guilty about that, of course, because we really hadn't done anything to prepare her for Kindergarten, other than send her to Dream-I. They taught her letters, numbers, sight words, simple addition, etc. We plan to send her back for summer sessions, and we're planning to send the younger sister once she's old enough. Btw, this location is not on my way to work, at all. I drive in the opposite direction of work to bring her here, and it's worth it! read more

My son started attending Dream I in April when he turned two. I want to start off by saying I am an elementary school principal so I know a thing or two about education and have pretty high standards. My son is half Korean so I wanted him to go to a Korean preschool. Luckily in the Fullerton/Buena Park area there are tons. I toured a lot of them, but didn't get the feeling that they were the right place for my son. Some were too outdated, too Korean, or just not welcoming. When I walked into Dream I, I knew instantly this is where I wanted to send my son. Love: 1. The building is modern, ample play space 2. Love the hidden alley entrance (off the street for safety) 3. Themed curriculum and they bring in sports 4. Korean focused yet everything is sent home in English and very welcoming to my non-Korean husband 5. Teachers genuinely like the kids (hard to explain but I can tell from being a principal who does and doesn't) 6. Love that they are super hygienic: brush teeth after lunch, different shoes for inside, and comb their hair after nap time 7. The cost is way cheaper then if I sent him to a fancy English only OC preschool I definitely recommend to everyone including my non-Korean mommy friends. Side note: I guess they changed ownership around February or March, so I don't know what it was like before or what changed. read more

First Impressions: So I'm making my rounds of the local Day Care / Preschools to see where to send our daughter. I came here at the recommendation of a friend. First, let me tell you this place is now called "Wonderland Preschool". Also, when you come down Fullerton, you will be confused because there's nowhere to enter. Just go around to Franklin and go down the first little back alley. That's the only way to get in. PRO: 1. Decent outdoor playground and facility 2. Diversity was pretty solid. Predominantly Asian but maybe 30-40% non-Asian. 3. Diverse teachers which is great also. 4. Diverse programs including academic learning and lot of other stuff such as weekly music, art, and other creative outlets. 5. Additional stuff also available like ballet or piano at extra cost. 6. Teachers all have Bachelor's Degrees which I haven't heard any of the other schools claim. Also, like other schools they require a minimum of 12 unites of Child teaching or that type of course. 7. Open more days than most places. They only take off for 7-8 major holidays. I've seen a few other places take off a few additional days that these guys don't. 8. In the summers they bring a pool for the kids to play. I suppose its one of those big outdoor standing pools they fill with water. CON: 1. Security. It's secure enough I think but not quite as heavy duty as others. The only caveat is that there's only one way to get in from the parking lot so its not terrible. 2. Meals / Kitchen was not at all impressive. It was not bad but didn't sound quite as impressive as I would like. Many breakfast and lunch items were almost pure carbs. 3. $100 registration fee was outrageous to me. The most expensive I've seen thus far. They all seem to give Breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks. Summary: I think its a solid choice for most people. I'm torn but I think the weak outside facilities and uncertainty with the food situation is leaving me less inclined but not sure entirely. read more

Sending my daughter to Dream-I was one of the best decisions I made. She actually went to the La Habra location, which we also love, but attended Buena Park for the summer Kinder Prep program. Their curriculum is really top notch. Not only do they help prepare academically, but also socially. They really consider every layer of what learning consists of once they enter elementary school. It's not just about reciting and practicing on worksheets. For example, they helped my child practice presenting in front of class several times (which they record and share with the parents) to help build speech skills and feel comfortable speaking in class. They also helped her learn how to solve conflicts with friends. These really helped her transition smoothly into Kindergarten, where I constantly hear wonderful feedback about her confidence in class. Ms. Michelle always provided in-depth feedback about her progress both in the classroom and in the playground. She also understood my child's strengths which I really appreciated. We are now sending our second child to Dream-I and know he is in great hands. I'm so grateful for the quality education they provide. But I appreciate even more their dedication to helping children grow at a holistic level. read more

I have had the pleasure of sending both of my children to Dream-I and have nothing but positive things to say about this school. My daughter is currently in 1st grade and she was more than prepared when she started kindergarten. As a first time mom, I was somewhat anxious when I first sent her to preschool but all of the teachers and staff were able to quickly dissipate my nerves with their kindness and care. My son is currently attending Dream-I and I have continued to see the consistency in their teachers. Although parents are still not allowed in the building due to the covid restrictions, the staff have been very good in communicating with parents so we are kept up to date with school events and incidents. My son also has a number of food allergies but the staff have been EXCEPTIONAL in working with me to ensure his safety while he is at school. Each and every one of the staff members show genuine care for the students who attend this school and it shows in the faces of all the children who have the privilege to go there. read more

New management as of february 2014. Dishonest in the way they run the school, promising to keep previous teachers as parents asked that their children have stability and security with known, trained staff. The new management changed staff, combined classes, fired a teacher in a ridiculous manner, as parents were dropping their children off at school. Multiple parents removed their children out of the school as of January, February and then now on March because the new owners do not provide a transparent, stable environment. read more
