Thanks to the loving team, our daughter always felt safe, cherished, and eager to head to school every day. She couldn't wait to give morning hugs to her teachers, Miss Dianna and Mrs Rekha. She truly blossomed under Miss Dianna's gentle guidance, energetic enthusiasm, and deep dedication. By Kindergarten, she mastered her math concepts and built an incredible foundation for learning. My daughter still talks about the country unit studies over the years and wants to visit and experience Japan's cherry blossoms and Paris' Mona Lisa. We still keep in touch with Miss Dianna, and she was even so sweet to FaceTime my daughter to calm her nerves during her first days of kindergarten. Mrs Rekha is a ray of sunshine, supportive, kind-hearted, and a favorite among the students. The directors, Mrs Tabitha and Mrs Amy, are always welcoming and communicative. They keep the school running seamlessly. What sets LiMai apart from others is its language and cultural immersion. For pre-school classes, your child can learn Mandarin, Korean, or Spanish. Tip: There's usually a long waitlist for Mandarin, so make sure to add your kid early and keep checking in with the staff. There are also add-on enrichment classes like piano, dance, and soccer. (LMA outsources to other companies, and they teach on campus.) My daughter always looked forward to her Dancing in Harmony dance classes with Miss Amber and performing at their dance recitals. Bonus: Your kid can opt in for freshly cooked Asian lunch meals like curry, soba, and japchae. I always smelled something delicious cooking at morning drop-off. There are always fun activities happening at the school too. From Trunk-or-Treat to Mother's and Father's Day events, to Water Play Day to Baby Prom--it makes it an enjoyable place for kids to play and for families to engage with others. We still hang out with the same group of friends/families we've met at LMA. We miss the teachers, staff, and school. We still come back to visit and are always greeted with warm hugs. We highly recommend LMA!

Everyone is very welcoming and attentive to all the children. Our son has a couple food-related allergies (peanut and dairy) and they do their best to accommodate. Over the past few months, they have renovated the classrooms and made some improvements to the large play yard. There is also a centralized app (Brightwheel) where parents receive important updates, make payments, receive photo updates, and check-in/out their child/children and I have not run into any issues so far. Parking can be a bit busy on random occasions but they have enforced a new rule that prevents cars from blocking the main driveway and there's plenty of street parking if the actual spots are taken. We're lucky enough to walk to CEEP on occasion but when we do drive, there's almost always parking available for a quick pick up or drop off. Lastly, the curriculum and schedules are very well-balanced and our son always comes home sharing exciting updates about what he learned, what he saw, and/or what kinds of arts and crafts he worked on. I could keep going but I'll end this review by highlighting the excellent operation here and how happy my child (and my wife and I) feel about Cypress Early Explorers Preschool.

I visited dozens of schools and when I found dream-I, I knew right away this was the school for my daughter. Other schools gave me quick tours then asked if I wanted to be on a waiting list. I didn't get to ask much questions or understand the curriculum and environment of the school. Dream I did an in depth one-on-one tour for me and my kid which ended up being around an hour or so. They explained every little thing they do and let me ask ALL the questions I had. And was patient about it lol Michelle and Chad have made sure my child was going to be in a safe and nurturing but also academically growing space. My child has grown so much in the past few months and comes home with A wealth of knowledge! One day she came home reciting the solar system, then the days of the week and more! I am sharing my experience with Kiddie Academy of Buena Park because I believe parents deserve to…read moreknow how a serious incident involving my 10-month-old son was handled-- by HR and Corporate! I do want to start off by saying Ms. Karla and Mrs. Jasmine in the office as well as many of the other teachers were amazing in the almost 4 years that my other children attended. Up until my youngest son started at Kiddie Academy I loved the school, referred people to the school and spoke so highly of it but after this incident and how HR and Corporate are handling it, it's extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. On July 2, 2026, an incident occurred between my infant son and an employee. Management reviewed surveillance footage of the incident, and the employee was subsequently removed from the classroom and terminated. Based on what I witnessed myself and what was communicated to me regarding the footage, the incident involved the employee flicking my son's in the nose, smacking his arm which made him scream and cry and flicking remaining water from her hands into his face after washing her hands. I reported the matter to Community Care Licensing and the Buena Park Police Department. One of my biggest concerns has been the handling of the surveillance footage. I specifically requested that the footage be preserved because it documented what happened to my son. I was later informed that the surveillance system automatically overwrites footage after approximately four days and that the footage was no longer available. I have repeatedly asked why footage involving an incident serious enough to result in an employee's termination was not preserved, particularly after I requested that it be saved. I have not received an explanation. I have also repeatedly requested complete written documentation regarding the incident. After more than two months of requests my emails went unread and phone calls and voicemails never answered or called back. I finally emailed again stating all the violations they were violating by keeping this information from me and sure enough I received an report that was not filled out correctly. In my opinion, the report did not adequately document what management had observed on the surveillance footage. Instead of describing the specific actions involving my son, the report stated that the "employee was terminated for not follow Kiddie Academy policies and procedures" and stated nothing else. I've emailed them again asking for a corrected report and again have been left without a response! I have also raised concerns about discrepancies between what I was told occurred and information provided in connection with the Community Care Licensing investigation. I have repeatedly requested clarification regarding those discrepancies. Throughout this process, I have sent multiple emails, made phone calls, and contacted HR and corporate seeking answers and documentation concerning my own child. Many of my questions have gone unanswered, and I have experienced significant difficulty obtaining responses. What concerns me most as a parent is the lack of transparency and communication after such a serious incident involving an infant who could not speak for himself. I am sharing my personal experience and the events as they were communicated to me and documented through my communications with the HR, corporate, law enforcement, and Community Care Licensing. Parents considering this facility may want to ask specific questions about: * How long surveillance footage is retained * Under what circumstances footage involving a serious incident is preserved * How incidents involving employees are documented * What information is reported to Community Care Licensing * What documentation parents receive when an incident involves their child * How HR and corporate communicate with families after a serious incident And what are they doing to protect our children. I trusted this facility with my infant son. After what occurred, I expected transparency, accurate documentation, preservation of relevant information, and timely communication. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I have made numerous attempts to address these concerns privately before posting publicly. I am sharing my experience now because I believe other parents have the right to ask these questions and make informed decisions about who they trust to care for their children.

At that time, she had other families on her waitlist. It wasn't until a couple weeks later, I followed up to see if anything had changed. Fortunately, a spot had opened and we couldn't have envisioned any other place for our 3yo son. Lynn and Francis are a dynamic duo. They care so much for our kids, shower them with love, and really do treat them like their own. The kids are taught to be independent, be respectful, manners, and how to regulate their emotions, safely. I love how they were so patient our little one and encouraged him with positive reinforcement. My favorite thing to ask him after 'school' was what he ate for lunch and hearing all the cute and silly nicknames of his friends. Their preschool curriculum is also great! Our son learned how to write his ABC's and numbers and name the first year (we hadn't started any workbooks at the time). His writing and penmanship is so neat, compared to his older sibling. Speaking of neat, I love how kids come home looking as good, or better, than when they were dropped off! My son has long hair, and love that Francie and him have 1:1 time when she redoes it after a fun filled day. I can't say enough great things about Lynn and Brighter Beginnings. She's got it down!
