All staff has been working in the center for a long time I believe on my tour the director said the newest staff member is going on their 3rd year being there. My child gets curriculum based activities throughout every day and the teachers and directors help my child at her own pace and help her understand the activity and project and unit in ways she can understand. This is also a small center and it is very warm and welcoming the center makes me feel that going to work with my child at this center is like her second home. In the infant room my child took her first steps and really enjoyed the sensory play they do. In toddlers she really loved the playground and the activities that the teachers put together. Before my child went to the preschool room the preschool teachers would see her and me at pick up and drop off and talk to us letting my daughter get use to them on her terms in her own way before being in their classroom the infant and toddler teachers make sure to come say hi to us and talk to her about how big she is getting. This made me feel very happy to be able to know that my child is in awesome and loving hands and that each teacher cares for my child even when she isn't in their classroom. The curriculum is very unique they teach the children the unit and the younger friends work on learning their colors and shapes while the older friends are learning Spanish and their letters. This center also provides breakfast, lunch and snack which is an amazing thing because I know my child will get all of her nutritions she needs for the day. Each playground is fun and exciting and the photos I get throughout the day warm my heart on hard days at work. I know when my child comes home tired and wood chips and paint all over that she had a FANTASTIC day.

There is very little turnover at the school, and most of the teachers have long tenures, which I really value. The teachers have a wonderful camaraderie among themselves and the positive energy is palpable. It's a very warm and inviting environment, and you can feel the care that is put into running the facility and giving the children the most enriching experience possible. We love the curriculum, and I continue to be amazed at what they learn and the fun projects they bring home for us. We want our boys to feel like they have a second home there, and we can tell from their behavior that they are very happy and comfortable at school. The staff is always very communicative if there are issues, and always happy to answer any questions we have. We love it there!

The food is prepared in house as opposed to other daycares who give frozen foods. I was assured my toddler will be getting fresh food with variety and she will be exposed to lot of cuisines. Activity wise also they teach them lot of things and i was surprised to see my toddler's vocabulary had suddenly increased and she could count, tell colors apart and alphabets.. The center's food menu has a great variety and, honestly, I feel less stressed not to have to worry about packing her lunch and subsequently she has learned not to be a picky eater at all. With both of us having 10+ hour work days including our commutes, it truly gives us a peace of mind knowing that our daughter is in good hands. The facility is very clean, convenient location for commuters, and the teachers are very knowledgeable. I'd recommend this facility to any parent looking for childcare.

I think that they just don't have the experience or expertise to work effectively with children who may need a little something different. As for the actual day? It's very structured, with very little outdoor time, and high staff turnover. In the three months we were there, our sons had three different primary teachers for the classroom. I wonder: if we had been there for 12 months, would our sons have had 12 teachers?!?! Bright Horizons had come very highly recommended to us, but we were terribly disappointed. We're now in a preschool with a play-based curriculum, plenty of outdoor time and teachers who have been with the program for several years, and our kids are thriving.

On first look the facilities look amazing - a great indoor place space, a fantastic art studio but…read morethe place the kids spend most of their time is the classroom that we had 2 independent experts tell us it was small and cramped with furniture for 9 kids 2 teachers and parents coming and going all day. Our son didn't last even 3 months in the toddler program because they deemed he was 'aggressive'. Yet he has displayed none of those behaviors at his new, more spacious daycare. So much time is unstructured play that if kids don't yet know how to play on their own they end up a bit lost. At least that's how Early Intervention explained their observations of BH Sudbury. Bright Horizons say all the right things but in our experience rarely actually followed through on the things that were going to make a difference. When an action plan was put together the staff were 3 weeks late putting together a cozy corner to help the kids have a relaxing space for when they got distressed. That was what upset us the most they didn't seem to put the action that would have benefitted our son first. We care that other children were being affected, which is why we acted immediately upon being informed it was a growing concern. Initially they said it wasn't a problem and deemed just toddler behavior between the children until the center could not cope. It felt like that they had decided that he became too much hassle and because they can fill the available space ten times over it seemed to us they just couldn't be bothered. They asked for our agreement to bring in 2 outside agencies, Early Intervention and Enable who could not start with the center until Dec 4th and yet he was asked to leave on Dec 11th. Enable had not even completed their assessment of the situation or plan to support the center and our family. Early Intervention had been only twice. When we offered to pay for an additional teacher to support the center it was deemed not necessary in the early stages and we should wait for the intervention of the supporting agencies. But they never gave the experts the time to help. All this coupled with the fact that we signed an agreement the week before our son was due to start and the center director got the price wrong on the contract and she also told us she had made a mistake while we were on the wait list and that the place she had reserved for us was no longer available makes our overall experience of Bright Horizons Sudbury very unsatisfactory. It's not like we are biased against Bright Horizons our son went to Bright Horizons Wellesley for 3 months while we were on the wait list for Bright Horizons Sudbury and we can't fault them. During the process we would have done anything to keep our son at Bright Horizons Sudbury, in the end you couldn't have paid us to keep him there.

If I could give zero stars I would…read more My son attended Strawberries Early Learning Center for just two days and in that short time I witnessed clear signs of neglect and unprofessionalism that no parent should ever experience. On the first day he was sent home in a full diaper despite me providing diaper ointments and clearly stating in the enrollment forms and verbally that he has extremely sensitive skin. By the second day he came home with a severe painful diaper rash with peeling skin. I was heartbroken. When I calmly raised my concerns to the director instead of taking accountability or even expressing concern for my child's health she retaliated and removed my son from the daycare on the spot. As I was leaving she clapped her hands at me called me crazy and threatened to call the police while I was already walking off the property with my son. Her behavior was loud degrading and completely unprofessional. A 51A report has now been filed by a Worcester police officer who was also shocked by the photos of my son's condition. I have also filed complaints with the Department of Early Education and Care and will be pursuing further action with MCAD EEOC and the BBB. And this is just my experience not everyone will have the same one but I'm posting this because no one should let all the positive reviews blind them. Every year the daycare asks parents to leave reviews on Google because that's how they boost their enrollment numbers. Do your own research ask questions and trust your gut.

Daycare was scary for both My son and I and they have make this transition so easy and comfortable for us! He loves his teachers and always comes home with art he's made. I just can't thank them enough, I feel so comfortable dropping him off knowing he's in good hands
