I'd give them negative stars if possible. This towing company was assigned to me by my Roadside Assistance agreement with Allstate insurance. I never used either one before. After waiting 2.5 hours and their ETA came and no one showed up. I called the company and boy did they have their excuses all lined up!!!. He's still over an hour away and has to unload the cars he has and he needs to send a flat bed because my car is all wheel drive(it is front wheel drive). Yes, it's been 4 hours and I'm waiting for another company to "rescue" me. This company needs to lose its license and go out of business. Stay away!!! read more

Last night, my car broke down, and roadside assistance dispatched Dream Towing. From there, everything went downhill. I waited for nearly 3 hours in the heat with no facilities, updates, or communication from Dream. The dispatch time kept updating slightly, but no truck arrived. Calls to both the driver and roadside assistance went unanswered. Eventually, I abandoned my car and got a ride. Hours later, the driver finally called, admitting he was "stretched too thin." While he was polite, it's irresponsible to accept every tow request knowing there's no capacity to deliver. This system leaves customers stranded for hours, especially in dangerous conditions. Florida's heat, no car power, and no ability to charge a phone add to the risks. Reading dozens of similar one-star reviews revealed a pattern: almost everyone left waiting for hours, with no communication. Dream Towing's business model stretches itself at the expense of stranded customers. Dealerships using Agero as a third-party roadside provider should escalate cases after 90 minutes. Dream reportedly manipulates ETA times, further frustrating customers. Dream also indicates that they are in a nearby vicinity and they are not. The company advised that dream selects a high volume of jobs and we'll get the jobs and claim the jobs before other tow companies do. It does not appear that they have a plan to assist stranded motorist, they just grab as many jobs as possible to make revenue through volume. read more

Dream Towing told us at 1130 we were NEXT and then at 1152 told us on the phone they were coming from Bradenton and it would be 30 more minutes. The DELAYS went on for HOURS! Finally at the 5 hour mark, we scrapped the idea of having Chevrolet Roadside Assistance and DREAM TOWING ever show up and we hired a private towing company that came within 20 minutes to get us! So after 51/2 hours we left and it was ONLY THEN that DREAM TOWING that had left us STRANDED decided to call to let me know they finally arrived! YOU LEFT US STRANDED! The experience was awful. The Dream should be changed to Nightmare. It was over 4 hours wait for them. They picked up my vehicle but didn't tow it to where I requested. Instead it sat in their lot for 4 nights before finally getting it back to me to my tow location 2 hours away. They rarely answer the phone and the one time I got through to someone the guy flat out lied and said it was on its way on day two of my wait. They're connected to a 3rd party service that finds tow providers. read more

Same as everyone else here, I was given a time frame of when they would be out of about an hour 1/2. They were assigned through my State Farm roadside assistance program. The first they were assigned to me was last Thursday (12/03) when I had moving guys coming to move me from Sarasota to Tampa. I called early around 9 am and by 11 am the estimated time got longer and longer, even though after waiting 90 minutes it said they were 'arriving soon'. I called their number, the messages were full. Then it extended the time out to 30-40 minutes and then extended it more. I gave up and cancelled and got jump from a neighbor and drove to Clearwater, where my car couldn't be started again. Then a 2nd time they were assigned to me. I called State Farm assistance on the Friday after my move (10/04) to schedule a Monday morning pickup to take my car to a garage to be fixed before Hurricane Milton. This morning rolls around and I get the same message for 1.5 hour wait and then it said they were 'arriving soon' and never arrived. Tried to call them again and no one answered, could only leave message. State Farm reassigned it to a different towing contractor (Rock Solid towing in Clearwater - excellent service from them!) I don't know what they are struggling with in their company, I see on their FB page they are hiring drivers, maybe this is the reason, but they should have better communication, at least hire a person to monitor the phones and give people real ETAs. They definitely shouldn't be a contractor for a road side assist service if they can't respond to the calls and at least give out accurate information or have a person you can speak to. I feel like 'Dream' Towing is truly that, as 'in your dreams' a figment of your imagination that never materializes and definitely never showed up, at least for me. read more

Chase, our credit card company hooked us up with this unreliable company thru their road dispatch benefit plan, just after noon today. We promptly received a text stating to expect them in 90 to 120 minutes. About 3 hours later, after not responding to texts, or answering the phone, we get a text to expect them in about 20 minutes. Of course more than an hour later, still a no-show. We finally realized that we needed to call a reputable company, Castillo Towing, who came right out and towed our car to the dealership. Then around 8 PM, we get a call from Nightmare Towing asking if we need a tow. Want to waste a day, then by all means, call this company. read more

Oh my gosh. One of today's scammy business. I pay A LOT of money to Veritas for vehicle service and support on my Mercedes. Flat tire today and need a tow. They took the job, Veritas said they'd text with updates. No texts. Called their number. Number switched over from a FL # to another state. No answer. Voice mailbox full. They were to be here within 90 minutes. 3 hours later I'm still waiting. Told Veritas to find someone else since I wouldn't trust this company to come near me or my car. This was really unbelievable. We called this morning at 7am for roadside assistance through Good Sam as our battery had died, and Dream Towing took the order. We were told 75 minutes. After 2 hours, I called Dream Towing and they apologized and said they would be here in 30 minutes. After 4 hours I left a voicemail and texted them and they told me they would check and get back with me. They never got back with me. Next I called Good Sam back, who in turn called Dream Towing and I was told to wait another 30 minutes. No one came! After nearly 8 hours, I called back and insisted that they not use Dream Towing, who had completely lost credibility. Now we have to wait for another company to come jump our battery. The next message was that the driver was on the way. At 10:11 this morning the insurance company asked if the job had been completed. After a no response, the insurance company said that the ETA was 20 minutes. The same thing happened at 11:15. It is now 11:47 and the driver just called me. If I could give this company a zero stars I would. My insurance company called them for tow service. I waited for over three hours. They told me it would initially take 90 min. After the 90 min I called them every 20 min and no one every answered or called me back. The insurance company called multiple times for me with a statement of they will be there in 20 min. They did not show and I had to call another company and pay for the tow myself.
