The packaging (such that it was) had not been disturbed and they were in the exact selling condition they had been when sold to me. The clerk (I believe he is the owner), told me he "never accepts returns," but grudgingly eventually said he would refund me 75% of the charge, keeping 25% for a restocking fee. I asked where that information would have been given upon purchase. My paper receipt had nothing about it and there was no sign on the wall. He produced a separate paper listing the restocking fee, which had not been shared with me when I purchased the items. He explained tersely that he is a small business and reiterated that he never accepts returns and I should be grateful he was making an exception. So -- be warned -- if you purchase supplies from this business, be aware that he "never accepts returns" and that if he decides to make an exception, he'll retain 25% of the payment. A few months past and nothing changed, I called then given the same spill. July 12th, 2026 I checked to see why the amount on the phone was still over $1400 since the price should have dropped dramatically by now. I called the customer service number and Rad said that he could place a ticket to have the promo applied by placing a ticket, but then ran into an issue and I had to call their National Retail Escalation line (855)975-4064. July 13th, 2026 after being on the phone for over 3 hours being transferred from the first person to sales then back to the main number again, I was told the plan I was on didn't qualify for the promo and I was given a $130 credit for a $1700 phone that was pristine. Of course, I was given the corporate "There's nothing they can do, because i was given the $130 credit." It was not explained to me that the plan, I signed on for didn't qualify for the promotion amount, had i known that I would not have switched from paying $65 (including insurance) a month with Spectrum to almost that with AT&T and basically scammed out of a promotion. If you can go to any other company to avoid this kind of shady practice then avoid AT&T at all costs.

My issue arises when the young lady who asked for me to be passed on to her was busy working with the lady she swapped with the agent for me. I came on my lunch break and my time was very limited, and she seemed more interested in helping the lady she swapped me for. It almost felt like she didn't want to assist me. I was very polite and cordial after about 20 minutes of this before I decided that I can take my business elsewhere. Calling me friend was not lightening up the tension and she tried but then would go right back to the other customer who was working with an agent already... it became very frustrating and clear she didn't want to assist me. She was overly assertive with not trying to help me or assist me, tried to say my phone wasn't eligible for upgrade/ trade in, after agent I was working with said it was. Then she took my phone in the back saying it does pass eligibility for trade in. Then looking for reason not to give me a trade in lol lol it was almost comical. I wish we as ppl can just be loving and helpful to eachother, but respectful also. I didn't feel respected or necessary so I felt neither was my money, so I left the store with my old phone and will upgrade elsewhere. Just have to be better.. This store allowed an item to be purchased under my account and have claim that they are not able to verify my concern. Here's where the incompetence comes into play. A sales associate or anyone affiliated with sale and setting up accounts knows that anything purchased or changed to your account , the customer will get a notification I n the form of an email. Once the email is checked, they are able to log in and verify any activity associated with the account. Secondly, I provided them the order/receipt number along with the store information and the assistant manager said that he has no way to validate any purchases made in his store. He refused to give his name, became argumentative and hung up in my face. I called back to obtain the manager and district managers information and he refused again and hung up in my face.
