After many flight delays, I was tired and frustrated by the time I arrived at the airport. I didnt have a hotel planned or a place to stay already set up. A kind local lady recommended me this place and called the owner directly to make sure that I had a room available to stay for the night. Ken, the owner was extremely hospitable! The house was super easy to find, follow all the signs at the Klawock airport to Craig and make a left on East Hamilton Rd when you get into Craig. Go for 2 minutes and you will see it on your left. When you walk in, the staircase to the rooms are directly on the right. My room had its own private bathroom and the bathtub was a jacuzzi jet tub. Everything was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. I had an excellent 2 nights of sleep. My room also had its own private patio with a small table and 2 chairs. Outside of the rooms there is a little snack area with coffee, tea, fridge, microwave, and chips. Downstairs there is a common living room area with comfy couches, big screen tv, movies, and board games. In the morning, Ken provides breakfast items such as oatmeal, fruit, bread varieties, cereal, milk, hot chocolate, etc. You can make coffee with the keurig and there are hot tea choices as well. My ultimate favorite part of the entire place is the back patio. The view is breathtakingly amazing. Its right on the water and watching the sunrise with my cup of coffee and oatmeal was the best way to start my day. I plan on coming back during the summer for more Alaska fun, and this would definitely be the place I would stay! read more

Dreamcatcher B&B is one of the best, if not the best place to stay here in Prince of Wales Island here in Craig, Alaska. The owner (Troy & Di) of this B&B are very nice and hospitable. Room's are 100% clean, breakfast is always good and healthy, wifi connection is available as well & every room has good television connected to DirecTV. Hands down, the best B&B in the town of Craig. Both our host Di and Troy Thain made us feel right at home and the views out the window to the lagoon and island are spectacular. We have been coming here several years now and have enjoyed fishing with Captain Troy, who definitely knows how to put you on fish. We have already made plans to return next year! read more

I've been staying with Ken and family for over 8 years. Always clean and quiet. Your host, Ken smiles a lot and is very friendly. He treats his guests as if they were family. When his son and daughter are there they help get you settled and take care of any needs. There is always a nice continental breakfast provided. Rooms are quite comfortable and updated. We were so lucky to have picked Dreamcatcher since we had never been to POW and hadn't really heard of any of the hotels or B&Bs before. Ken made us feel so comfortable and the room was cozy, quiet and clean with a gorgeous view. Ken made sure we had everything we needed. Wow! I really lucked out on choosing this place to stay for my trip to POW. My room was awesome. Everything super clean. The owner "Di" was very friendly. I stayed 3 nights, but only made it to breakfast once, which was awesome (waffles and bacon). There is a nice hiking trail (Graveyard Trail) within walking distance of the B&B. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to POW. read more

This was a wonderful experience. The accommodations were comfortable and the view was wonderful. The privacy of each room was a welcome departure from what I usually encounter in bed and breakfasts... each room had its own private bathroom. I travel a lot and this made things much more pleasant.
