We first stopped at the smaller Salvage store. It had an assortment of clothing for men, women, and children, and you really need to comb through the racks to find something in your size. I wish they would organize the clothes by size, rather than by brand/style, but my time was well-spent, as I found two nice tops from brands I love (Tangerine and Loft) for $8 and $3, respectively. They also have aisles with various grocery and household items. We found an embroidered yard flag, an auto sun shade, a pair of earrings, and some Pellegrino sparkling water (3 for $1). My sister-in-law also found a cute pair of sandals for under $15. We next went to the Overstock store, located in an old Kmart just down the road. It had a larger selection of clothing, shoes, watches, jewelry, and grocery and household items, and also had sporting goods, furniture, and appliances. My brother and his wife got great deals on golf shoes, but interestingly, I only found one clothing item (a skirt) for myself. Note that the fitting rooms are closed at both stores...bummer. Wow. Just wow. If you are a Walking Dead fan, this place is your pilgrimage. In this tiny little…read moretown, there lies a rich Haven of Walking, Dead props, autographs, memorabilia, and a stellar gift shop. If you've been a fan of The Walking Dead for any length of time, this needs to be a bucket list item for you. The quaint little city of Senoia, Georgia, houses. One of the most amazing collections of Walking Dead merchandise and just plain cool stuff I've ever seen. My only regrett in coming here is that I didn't come here while the show was still filming. It would have been pretty cool to see some of the cast members wandering around the town. The girl at the counter that I spoke to said that even now, from time to time, cast members will cruise through the the store and do a little bit of shopping. According to her most recently. Jeffrey, Dean, Morgan and his kids came through. There are so many cool things like the don't open dead inside doors from the hospital when Rick first wakes up that you can get a picture in front of. What a great place. I'm not going to do too many spoilers because you need to experience it in real life. I will post some of the cool stuff I saw but you really need to see this place for yourself, and pick up a few souvenirs to bring home with you!

I am familiar with the store because of experiences at the Austell location many years ago when my son was a baby. It is a premium consignment store (think like Plato's closet) geared towards babies and kids where you can sell your new and used clothing, shoes and baby gear and buy these items as well. It is a step above the thrift store and you can tell the items they sell are vetted for cleanliness and to ensure they work (when you think of toys and gear). The staff is also friendly. On my first visit, I came across the 10 for $10 playsuit bins & thought this was awesome because I was looking for a specific size and was able to rack up without breaking the bank AND scoring some that were like new, new with tags and premium brands. I signed up for the rewards program and ended up getting sent a $5 off $25 coupon to redeem the next day and returned to use it on a gently used Graco swing that was only $40! After tax, the total was about $38 with my coupon. Talk about saving big. The swing retails for over $100 new and was in good condition! My thought is for things like this that a child will only use for a few months, it's okay to save. Overall, I am impressed with this store and will return in the future to buy and potentially sell items.
