If you consider yourself a vinyl-head in the Atlanta area and you've not visited Criminal Records…read moreyet, it should be considered a crime. Your punishment? A trip to this excellent music shop and I'm sure your visit will be an enjoyable one. I'd been to this place before, but not when I was the vinyl fanatic I am today, so I'm definitely glad I stopped by again... Along with my lady and our dog (they're very dog-friendly). The store is very well-organized, with newer releases towards the front and older/used ones towards the back, all divided by genre and all priced nicely. They also have new and used CDs, posters, t-shirts, and lots of comic books and graphic novels. I'd say a little something for everyone! My lady and I found some great vinyls, including Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland (used 1980 reissue, awesome condition, $17), Tone Loc's Loced After Dark (used original pressing, $7), Queen's Jazz (new reissue, $24), and A Charlie Brown Christmas (new green vinyl, $20). This is a great shop and it'd be a crime to NOT check it out. Plus the staff are all friendly and willing to help you find whatever title you're searching for or even make a good recommendation. If you find yourself in the Little Five Points area of Atlanta, I'd absolutely say check this place out!

I stumbled upon this store on accident, but I'm glad I did. It was so much fun to browse through…read moreall the vintage games and knick knacks. The employees were friendly and helpful, and there was a great selection of games, consoles, gaming accessories, anime/comics, and toys and figures. There were games for NES, Atari systems, various versions of Gameboys, PS1, PS2, GameCube, modern consoles, DS, and more. I was looking for games for my Commodore VIC-20 and didn't see any, but it's a pretty obscure system so it's a big ask. The prices were sometimes expensive but not nearly as much as eBay, and they had a selection unlike any game store I've been to. I feel like the items sold were worth the price. While I didn't end up buying anything, I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Our first couple tries, they were closed because of winter break according to a written sign on the door, and a second time I think they just closed early that day. (this was maybe 2019 or 2020). Anyways, I eventually made it back out that way (it's about an hour drive for me) with a buddy, and it was worth the trip. The guy working the desk was helpful and friendly. They had a great selection of throwbacks. I recommend shopping here especially if you live out that way near the kennesaw area. Businesses like this are rare, and we are lucky to have it. Good deals too on their pricing.

Nothing that made me stop shopping there or write a negative review at the time. However, I went in there the other day to look around, and I ended up spotting a Virtual Boy for $400, which is pretty expensive. But I recently received $400 for my birthday, so I figured what the heck and bit the bullet and purchased the system, as it was the only Nintendo system I currently didn't own at the time. The employee even let me briefly try it out, and it seemed to work well, so I bought it. After I got home, I set it up in order to fully test and try it out. However, while testing it, I realized that the right lens only shows a distorted image. However, this is only noticeable when you have your left eye closed. I tried to call the store immediately, but unfortunately they had already closed for the day. So the next day, I called at work and explained the problem with the console that they had sold me. The woman on the phone sounded very understanding and told me to bring it back, as they had a worker there who does repairs. So after work, I drove home, packed up the Virtual Boy, and headed back to the store. I even called and told them that I was on the way, and I was told, "Okay, we'll look at it when you come in." When I arrived, the repair guy plugged the console in and said, "Yeah, I see it's not working. However, there's nothing I can do." Then he called the employee that had sold me the console the previous day, and I explained the situation for a fourth time while the "Repair" guy called the owner. The employee who sold me the unit initially offered me to trade it back into the store, as they would not let me return the unit. I told him no because "I WOULD JUST BE GIVING THEM FREE MONEY AT THAT POINT" The "Repair" guy returned and told me that I have to get it repaired somewhere else, as he can only do basic repairs like battery swaps on cartridges. THAT WOULVE BEEN GREAT TO KNOW THE 2 TIMES I CALLED BEFORE I HEADED TO THE STORE. Anyway, the employee that sold me the unit also got on the phone with the owner and explained the situation. After he was done talking to his boss, he told me, "They can't give me a refund, not even a partial refund, and I couldn't trade it in because it's damaged." I then again explained that they SOLD ME THE UNIT DEFECTIVE BUT YOU CAN ONLY NOTICE IT WHEN YOU CLOSE YOUR LEFT EYE. They both just kept saying that they "tested it" with all the employees and none of them noticed any issues with the unit. Then the guy who sold me the broken unit low-key started blaming me for the damage, saying that "I could have damaged it on the way home yesterday, as the console is very fragile." And I'm just standing there thinking to myself, "No way he genuinely said something so RETARDED. He gotta be rage baiting. If a simple car ride is enough to damage the unit, would it not make sense that the person that drove to the store to originally trade the unit in to them damaged it? Therefore, it was already damaged before I purchased it." He then told me "that there's not much they could do," which is pretty much the nice way of saying "piss off." I then asked, "Since you can't do much, what can you do?" and he replied by saying, "What do you want?" I asked if I could get a discount on the item or a partial refund, as $400 is a lot of money to pay for a defective item. He told me "no," so I asked again, "What can you do then?" and he replied with "pretty much nothing." The employee's rage bait is starting to work and is genuinely pissing me off at this point, so I replied, "Why would you say there's not much you can do if you can't do nothing at all?" WHY EVEN TELL ME TO BRING THE UNIT BACK IN IF YOU CAN LITERALLY DO NOTHING DESPITE BEING INFORMED OF THE PROBLEM WITH THE UNIT TWICE BEFORE I EVEN GOT THERE. In the end the "Repair" guy clearly wanted me gone so he begrudgingly filled out a punch card and handed it to me 15% off my next purchase pretty much saying next time you come in you can pay less to get scammed

An other shareable appetizer was the tortilla chips and a creamy queso. The Smash Burger was a delight without all the greens and a rootbeer that bore the same name...Smash Burger Beer. However, the best was the tater tots that came with three deep fried? Chicken Fingers on the plate. Service was fine and efficient. Wash up and be astounded by the restrooms scenery before you leave. Outside view- Windows are covered with Marvel, DC, Pokémon, etc. comicbook covers....really inviting. Service- Upon entering, we where greeted immediately, always a great thing. Everyone was helpful and nice. Inside- Wall to wall stuff... posters, toys, childhood lunchboxes, action figures, DVDs, etc., and ofcourse comicbooks for days. It is a older store, so don't expect department store organization but they do have a system. Walking through made me smile and brought back memories. I was a comicbook, action figure kind of girly(I had Barbie dolls also). Merchandise- I swear if you think of it, they probably will have it or can get it. The have a area with comicbooks that are sold in a set(that's what my son choice). There is a area with current comics. If you're a collector(I didn't know how expensive a collectable could be) they probably have it. That back wall to the right has comics I didn't know were comics, I seen that they also buy your action figures and I would assume other things collectible worthy. Prices- My son picked one of there comicbook sets(10-12) and I picked 3 Betty and Veronica comics... total was around 30 to 38 dollars. I definitely would recommend stopping in... me and my son enjoyed our time there.

This place has everything. The comic selection is vast and the prices vary: they have a $2 selection, $5 selection and of course more expensive comics. Everything is nearly organized and at times overwhelming because there is truly such a large section that you could thumb through these for hours. The toys! Wow, so many i haven't seen in years or ever. I did find some of the pricing to be a little steep, but i suppose its supply and demand. Everything again was nearly organized and structured by specific genre, group. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. They were super knowledgeable and just plain ol' nice. I can't wait to make this my regular comic book shop in the future. I spent a bunch of money and I'm sure I'll spend a bunch more.
