My wife and I just moved to the area and were looking for a new party store because we love balloons. We get them for all special occasions i.e. birthdays, valentines, etc., as well as "just cause" balloons. I found this store online and decided to give them a try for my wife's bday. I got 9, 24" balloons. The staff did an AMAZING job filling them. What stuck out the most was they were all the exact same size. A lot of times a store will fill some all the way up, and some partly up, so they look mismatched, not the case here. They also chose really pretty matching strings for each balloon, and even tied the knots perfectly. They have tons of un-inflated balloons to choose from as well. The staff was very courteous and helpful, especially loading the balloons into the car. They have customers in us as long as we're in the area, which should be a very long time. While Party America did not have what I needed available at that time, they had a lot of stuff. I did not know that this place existed and evidently it has been there for over 20 years. I called this place 2 times.. first time I was put on hold for 10 minutes, like hello is there only one person who handles phone calls or what??? I hung up and called again, again she asked me to hold, she came back asking the same thing "Party america how can I help you" and I proceeded to tell her what I was looking for and the girl proceeds to put me on mute and HANG UP THE CALL. Shame on you! I watched a gentleman bring in his own balloons to be blown up and YOU popped one of his and absolutely refused to replace it. He even stated that he had extras in the car and you would not even give him the $1.29 or whatever it is to fill it up with helium when you were the ones who popped HIS balloon behind the counter before you ever even handed it to him. And then you had the audacity to scoff and laugh when he couldn't understand why he had to pay you again! And then proceeded to talk about him after he left the store. I always get my special occasion balloons here! I placed an online order the day before Easter not knowing they were closed on Easter. Dana called in the morning to tell me that she came in just to fulfill my order even though they were closed. I'm so grateful that they went above and beyond to get my order to me! I bought a graduation balloon on Saturday for a graduation party. It did not even last into the night. I was gonna let it go, but then I thought, it's a $13 balloon! It should have lasted. I bought a few dollar store ones for decoration and those are still going strong. So I called. They said they could replace it. But I don't need a replacement. The party is over. They don't do refunds, which I can understand but they wouldn't even give me a credit for another balloon or something else. Never coming back. read more

I placed an order and was required to pre pay. The proof was perfect but when I arrived the order was incorrect. Luckily the owner was there however she didn't know how to change the color. I was on a time crunch and had to wait for them to reprint my order. When I asked the owner if they could take something off my order she declined. She didn't care that I was inconvenienced. She stated the reprint was all they could do. It's truly a shame . I followed all of the requirements but Party America and it owner only cares about the money. I will say the staff is very friendly but the manager is arrogant and snoody. read more

This place is wonderful! They always have the best party decorations. They are always getting new designs and plates. They have top-of-the-line balloons their new chrome balloons are beautiful. Had all of the equipment needed for a reasonable price. Tons of variety for many themes and party needs. Friendly team members.

The staff are friendly and ask if you need help with anything. One employee stopped what she was stocking to find a price for me. As with most party stores the prices are moderate. Its a rather small store, but you can still find quite a bit of various items from costumes to serving ware for hosting. They do not have anything Mnecraft though (at no fault to them, there are just very few companies that sell anything Minecraft) so don't expect to find it here. read more

So living in downtown Acworth, I truly try and utilize our local businesses out of kindness and laziness. I always mixed Part America up with Party City so It's been my first stop for decorations, costumes....etc.... I will say the employees have always been above and beyond. The store's inventory/ selection is what's annually reminded me that it's not Actually PartyCity. Not that Party City's the pinnacle of party supplies- but the national commercials promise certain items. Searching for letter balloons for my sons bday party this weekend- I'm looking to travel minimally. Party city comes up first in search and then Part America. I click on the website and get a message that the website is unavailable. Three times!!!! Does corporate know about this low level snafu that is inexcusable? So then I call the number and it's not the actual number. I want this store to be a contender bc I have no desire to drive to Barrett Parkway but also bc how hard is it to do the absolute minimum? Someone get it together- I'm one of many that want to stay close and desire the very basic levels of service. read more
