We used Bryan's company to design and build a large pond, and landscaping in 2 different houses in Los Gatos and Aptos, the built and design were 4 stars. Then came the maintenance terrible. He loses interest once he's done with building it maintenance in both locations is way below par, given him multiple chances, instead of managing his people he's an absentee boss that seams to be camping and nothing getting done. Yelp does not have a zero starts option. This os my first 1 star rating, I guess he will be out of usiness in less rhan a year read more

When they say "creative landscaping" in their name they're not messing around. Dreamscape was able to take our dirt hill of a backyard and turn it into something that makes me smile everyday. I met Jeremy over a year ago when he came out to assess the job and give us a bid. Among the four other bids we got, Dreamscape was in the middle cost wise. Jeremy politely followed up but we were short on cash with the holidays and asked his to hold off. Fast forward to June 2014 and I reached out to him. Most vendors wouldn't bother to return a call from someone who kept them waiting for six months but Jeremy called me right back and was very understanding about the delay. They honored the pricing they gave us earlier in the year and we kicked off the reno with a three tier retaining wall. *please note: I had to be in Texas the week of the project and Dreamscape worked totally unsupervised.* Normally this would send me into a panic but Jeremy was great about texting their progress each day. The wall was finished in four days and I came home and was thrilled with the results. Next steps: extending the deck into the hillside and planting over 70 trees and plants. Bryan came in and gave me the consult for the plants. He was great to work with and really understood the demands of the soil and hillside. Again, the planting and the deck work went smoothly and quickly. I loved the team that was assigned to us. Kirk, Chris and Jose were the best. It was fun to watch them work as they jammed out to Taylor Swift on the radio. They were always willing to answer any questions and were great to my dog. Last comment, the job was complete but were concerned about a loose railing on the deck. Jeremy came over the next day and secured it. No questions, no haggling, just an extremely high standard of excellence. As you can see, our finished result is amazing. I'm happy and I know you would be too if you use Dreamscape. read more

Unfortunately, the drainage excavation revealed some unexpected complications and serious issues that needed to be addressed. Bryan worked with us to ensure these problems were corrected in an efficient and cost effective manner. He recommended several contractors to handle the required work, from concrete to tile and stucco, and they were all excellent. When we were ready to select plants for the landscaped areas, Bryan worked with us to ensure the area reflected our ideas, both esthetically and functionally. Throughout the process, both Bryan and Jeremy were quick to respond to phone calls and email whenever we had questions or additional thoughts about the project. The crew was polite and hard working and clearly cared about the quality of their work. Cleanup was also very thorough when the project concluded. I want to give these guys a good review but I just can't do it. Bryan is a nice guy; however, he did not pay as close attention to my job as he should have. I think this was a result of him trying to take on too many jobs. In the end, the quality suffered. Whatever you do, don't have these guys apply polymeric sand (such as gator dust) in the joints of a patio or walkway. They applied it on a brand new flagstone they had just put down right ahead of a major rain storm. Needless to say it did not set right and to make matters worst, the follow up was equally as bad. I'm in the process of meticulously taking it out of all the joints myself and will reapply according to manufacturer's instructions, which says not to apply within 24 hours of rain. read more

These guys did an absolutely fantastic job on our landscaping and it was a big job, a full crew for 8 weeks straight, structures, four stone walls, hundreds and hundreds of plants. They never missed a day of work, and showed up at 8am promptly every single work day. The project was completed two years ago now, and now that things have matured, it is just gorgeous. We love our patio!! When we moved into our home two years ago, we had so many ideas for the backyard which was an overwhelming heap of sand. My husband and I had a few people come out and give us their ideas and quotes and we decided to go with Dreamscape. We are very happy with the result. Josh was our fantastic project manager. He is super professional and really knows his stuff. He gave us an overall price for the whole backyard to be landscaped perfectly. We decided that we wanted to break up the project and do a few pieces at a time in order to fit our budget. Josh was very understanding and he gave us his recommendations about what order we should go about landscaping the yard and the price breakdown which was very reasonable considering all the earth they had to move. We ended up with a yard that has been graded, complete with drainage system and a great looking patio with a little area for our fire pit (YAY!). We have called Repeatedly for help with timer as our water bill is out of control. They installed our drip system several years ago. They have not yet been able to find a good time for a rather small job. We are seniors Dealing with many issues and desperately need their help. It just hasn't happened. Dreamscape replaced our deck, increasing the size and adding a much bigger section of upper deck off our bedroom. The workmanship is extraordinary. The finished product is everything we had hoped for. They worked with us on changes, and it went smoothly. We opted for cable railing and decorator lighting. These are options we would highly recommend to anyone. Bryan and the crew, led by Jeremy were on time every day, and didn't miss a day, except for rain. The crews were very professional - down to business first thing; no loud music or cussing, with cleanliness and neatness. Great job. The foundation and deck are spectacular. Every cut, every joint, every seam, the stairs, the railing, the lighting, and every aspect is right on. Jeremy found some dry rot, which was not mentioned by the previous owner (even though she obviously did work to hide it). They didn't skimp on repairing the dry rot, even though they had to get under the house and work like dogs replacing hard to reach foundation pieces. They completed it and the stucco work at a very reasonable additional charge. I'm so glad I didn't try this project myself. It's so much better than our old deck, now we're hoping we can get our neighbors to trim their trees so we can enjoy more of the ocean. We give Dreamscape 5 stars, because they earned that rating. Hiring Dreamscape was a terrible experience for me as I was told they were recommended. I had many problems trying to get my yard to look right as they cut my trees way too short, did a quick job and then tried to rip me on water saving features that ended up being a complete cheap system and more expensive in the end. These guys will certainly do a quick job and they did not even have the decency to call me to apologize for the many mistakes they made. Not to mention my invoice was extremely high. I'm going to try and battle this because this is unheard of. I would not recommend them unless you want an expensive and quick job that looks terrible. read more
