They are the first building contractors we have found that do EVERYTHING the right way (we have tried bigger and smaller firms). They genuinely care about doing a great job. Communication is clear and transparent, and the job is detailed. We were provided a specification list of all fittings, along with a work design drawing for practical purposes and 3D visuals of what the bathroom would look like. Before work started, everything was scheduled and the process flowed beautifully. All permits were handled without any involvement from us and they used a straight forward project app to ensure we had daily updates. I've added some photos but it's hard to show exactly how much difference this addition en-suite has made to our home and all the behind the scenes electrics and plumbing required to make it happen. We are over the moon with the end result and enjoyed the structured process of delivery. We are about to contract with them to renovate an existing en-suite and build a new hidden walk in closet. They have our trust and they will be the only contractors we use in future when making home improvements/additions. Thank you guys.

We Are Happy w/ Our Decision to Go With Maui Kitchens!! We…read morehad a major kitchen/laundry room/ mudroom upgrade performed by Maui Kitchens in the send half of 2023 and were extremely satisfied (*****) with the overall experience. We met the owner, Dave Iacovone, through a work colleague that also had a great experience w/ Maui on a large project that went well. We would definitely hire Maui again! The process was pleasant - We had a fairly good idea what we wanted to do (sketches, photos from magazines) and shared those w/ Dave on morning, had a very good conversation and exchanged some ideas. In the next step we signed a retainer that opened him up to design the project. We had a few meetings w/ updates to go through the process. Seeing the design on the screen was amazing - from that we could teaks, improvements, etc. Dave is very passionate about what he does - and has a really solid understanding on ALL of the products, trends, can help steer away from bad ideas (happy we listened to him on a few items). We went through a few stages to release his ability to buy cabinets, etc. And a few months after meeting his team was in to remove the old stuff and install the new - was fun to see the progress every day. Dave is a very nice guy - very busy running the family business but always found time to chat (give him an A+ for communication). He does take pride to get to know homeowners to understand their needs. His team is a big reason for his success - everyone from the demo team; painters, cabinet installers/trim work; plumbers; electricians - they do it right...It was so nice to see some much pride taken in their work! He also has an excellent supply chain for tiling and countertops, plus good relationship w/ plumbing fixture (faucet, etc.) and knob/pull companies. The cabinets we selected - Cherry wood w/ honey finish is what we selected - are in our view some of the nicer cabinets we have seen (we went prior to meeting Dave to see other higher end brands at local showrooms) - at one point early in Dave took us to a large showroom where we could see all the species, styles etc. and once we selected a few options he ordered and they sent us a few full size samples to borrow and check in our kitchen vs. the lighting etc. Believe he has a few supply chains for cabinets - ours came from Kahle - family owner company in Western PA - we are happy about that decision. We confess as the homeowner we had some difficulty making decisions - and Dave was very patient (brought good humor when we needed it) but he was always helpful and re-enforced that we need to make good decisions and not rush if not ready. I rarely leave negative reviews, but other dog owners deserve to know our experience. The purpose…read moreof dog daycare is to provide exercise, socialization, and a safe outlet for a dog's energy. If your dog is young, energetic, and still learning, as most adolescent dogs are, you should know exactly how this facility handled our situation. Our Labrador Retriever attended this daycare intermittently from 5 to 11 months of age. After one isolated incident in which he reacted poorly to another dog's correction due to trying to initiate play, the manager reassured us that this was not a serious behavioral issue, that he was simply still learning to respond to cues from other dogs, and that they were happy to continue working with him. We were never told he was on probation or given any deadline for improvement. Over the next three weeks, he attended only two additional visits. During one, he was injured. The staff present that day, as well as the manager in a follow-up call, all told us that he had done nothing wrong and it was through no fault of his own. During the next visit, I monitored the cameras and watched him be removed from group play within 15 minutes of arrival and brought out only three times for about 10 minutes each over more than five hours. When I asked why, the manager said he had done nothing wrong but they were "trying to get ahead of the problem." In other words, they had already labeled him as a problem before he had done anything wrong that day. Yet when he was eventually allowed to rejoin the group, we were told he played appropriately and without incident. This is what should concern prospective clients: we were explicitly told our dog could continue attending and that they would work with him, but instead he was quietly confined for most of the day without our knowledge. Had I not checked the cameras and called to ask what was happening, I have no reason to believe we would have been told. If a facility has already decided that your dog is too much work, they should communicate that honestly rather than continue accepting your dog and effectively sidelining them. After I raised my concerns, the owner informed me that he was no longer welcome. She then suggested that our dog was responsible for the earlier incident in which he was injured--directly contradicting her own staff and manager and attempting to make him seem like the problem even when those who witnessed the event said he was not at fault. Given that there had been no prior warning that dismissal was being considered, and that this decision came immediately after I questioned how he was being treated, the timing felt retaliatory rather than the result of a thoughtful behavioral assessment. When I told her that I intended to leave an honest review describing our negative experience, she became even more defensive and stated that she would fight it back. Unfortunately, after reading prior reviews describing similarly defensive and retaliatory behavior from ownership, this response did not appear to be an isolated incident. For additional context, prospective clients may wish to read the Yelp review from the Nazareth location dated July 17, 2019, which describes similar behavior from ownership. We also had broader concerns. We encountered 2 of their employees outside of daycare and overheard them saying that they feel overwhelmed and that there are too many dogs for the available staff. Our dog was injured more than once, and in one instance staff said they could not identify which dog caused the injury despite cameras throughout the facility. These issues raise serious concerns about staffing and supervision. We were also concerned by multiple episodes of kennel cough and giardia associated with the facility, and our veterinarian specifically warned us that they had seen numerous dogs become ill after attending this facility. To their credit, we were not charged for the day he spent largely confined. If your dog is a high energy dog or puppy who requires patience and continued development, this daycare may decide that your dog is too much work. In our experience, dogs who need extra attention may be blamed, confined, and dismissed rather than appropriately supported.
