If you decide to get the additional Dress Preservation Package YOU need to call the store THE FIRST DAY THEY ARE OPEN AFTER THE WEDDING to get the box sent to your house. I thought they would just send me everything the additional $300 included, but NO. It's on YOU to reach out to THEM to fulfill the $300 Dress Preservation commitment. There are a LOT of people that get so wrapped up in the wedding details that this package you paid for when you bought the dress is often forgot about. PLEASE follow thru so you aren't throwing $300 away and essentially tipping the store. read more

I have everything and more to say about Dress Gallery. More specifically Alexis. This was my first time going in and trying on wedding dresses EVER. Alexis greeted me with the most welcoming smile and uplifting attitude. I cannot say how much I appreciated this and how much it eased my mind going into this process. So, the story started great. My wife found a dress she absolutely LOVED and still does, as well as amazing bridesmaid dresses. They all loved the experience they had with trying on dresses here, and purchasing their dresses. Even the experience of trying on tuxes for fittings and measurements for myself and 2 of my groomsmen was great. Fast forward to the week of the wedding. I show up on Wednesday the week of the wedding. (Wedding on Saturday, rehearsal on Friday.) I try my tux set on, immediately when I have only one pant leg on, I notice that it doesn't fit right, but I continue anyway. with the pants fully on, I walk out of the dressing room and say to my dad: "I don't think these fit" and laugh. He looks at me, and actually bursts out in laughter. I say yeah man, these are like highschool high waters. There was about 8 months between my measurements and fitting. the pant legs were at LEAST 2" (inches) too short, probably closer to 3". The fit around the lower torso was tight, and pockets were flaired out egregiously. I wrote this off as having gained a little weight (5lbs or less). So they tell me "Sure, we'll lengthen these pants, as well as order a size up, and send both with you to make sure you have a pair that fits you." I leave feeling as if they didn't even give me the correct pair of pants to try on initially, despite having taken seemingly incredibly accurate measurements 8 months prior. I also highly doubt, that at 30 years old I grew a whole 3 inches in height in my legs. They tell me to come back Friday to pick up the final tux set which should fit, more on this later. My best man gets in from out of town on Thursday, he tells me he's lost a significant amount of weight, and will very likely need to get different sizing. We go to his test fitting, he does need some changes, no big deal. they measure him for a slimmer jacket and shirt, and, everything else was fine. After this test fitting, they tell us they'll see us tomorrow (Friday) for picking up the tux sets. Here's where everything comes together into a nice dumpster fire. We're getting married at a venue 30 minutes outside of town, with our entire bridal party and crew getting ready at the venue for the wedding next day, and rehearsal that night at 4PM The entire bridal party was decorating, setting tables/chairs and other amenities up on Friday, leaving little time for mistakes. We had a plan for a pair of the bridesmaids to pick up everything that needed to be picked up on Friday in Wichita. (Cookies, and the tuxes). This plan works perfectly, the tuxes arrived at the venue around 3PM. Great, everything has actually gone pretty perfectly. We finish getting some final touches done, and I decide to do a last minute final fit test of the tux. (Note: The original pair of pants they said they would send didnt get sent, not a big deal though, the pockets would still flair out egregiously.) I put the new pair of pants on that was sent with the tux. The length seems fine, but the pockets are still flaired out, so I call this location. The person who answered the phone was very nice, explained that tux pants are supposed to be worn higher than normal, so I pull the pants up higher. Now the pocket flair seems fine, but the pant legs are too short, by 2"ish. They said as long as we could get back to the location before they close, they could finish the alterations in about 10 minutes, at this point, its about 3:40PM, with rehearsal to start at 4PM and we're at a remote venue 30 minutes outside of Wichita. I tell my best man that he should also try everything on to make sure it fits. He tries everything on, and tells me "Yeah, this should be fine" But I'm looking at his sleeves, and they're around 1" to 2" too short, so we bring both for alterations. Now, I tell my wife that we have to go back to get the alterations done, it seemed to me like all at once she was ready to punch something and cry. My best man and I drive 30 minutes back for alterations. We walk in straight into the groom suite, and say that we need alterations, and that rehearsal dinner is tonight (Friday, remember rehearsal is supposed to start at 4PM) The staff here is still exceedingly nice, and gets us taken care of. The one thing that stands out to me, is that they had asked when rehearsal was. So I looked at my watch, and said "20 minutes ago" At this point I'm fuming, my wife wanted (at the time) for me to come and yell at people over all of this. I was seriously considering it, but yelling in a situation like this does literally no one any good. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere for your tux fittings. They didn't even get my initial tux set correct, the pants were so obviously wrong that my dad actually laughed at how bad the pants fit, supposedly, the final fit test is so that the tux you pick up fits you well. This was not the case, since we had to drive back into town making us around an hour late for rehearsal. Do better, highly disappointed. read more

Dress Gallery is AMAZING! I went to a total of 4 Bridal shops in 3 states and Dress Gallery was my favorite (not just because I found my dress here)! My best friend and I loved having a private fitting area to ooh and ahh over all the dresses. Emma was our partner in crime and made our shopping experience so much fun! Katie Jones is a great consultant; she asked very helpful questions to narrow down what I was looking for, and even had some great suggestions when I was stuck. Moms/Grandmothers/Bridesmaids, you will enjoy the comfortable couches and chairs as your bride tries on gowns. The store is beautiful. They have a great selection of dresses and I noticed they had a lot of variety at a range of prices. Upon making my appointment, I was told I could visit their Pinterest to view what dresses they had in stock. This was great! I scoured them and made notes of which ones I was interested in trying. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to help you. You get your own private area to try on dresses. You don't have to share a mirror and only share the space with your party and consultant. The lady helping me was very intuitive to what I was looking for. I think it was the 4th dress I tried and knew it was the one. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. I also found my veil and accessories for my bridesmaids there. One of bridesmaids also got her dress from Dress Gallery and had an amazing experience as well. Today was the first day of wedding dress shopping for my daughter. She has been so excited about this day and has been planning it for some time to make sure as many bridesmaids as possible could be there. Our appointment was at 2:30 and we got started almost 30 minutes late due to the store being busy. Then she ended it 15 minutes early. My daughter didn't want to feel pressured to make a purchase today as it was her first day looking: she let the sale person know that but we didn't know that would affect the level of service we received. The salesperson was very high pressure and said "we aren't here to play dress up." She also wouldn't allow me to be in the dressing room with my daughter. Which was a little odd. The bridesmaids and my daughter all commented that the salesperson scared them. This was not the experience my daughter was looking forward to. She told my daughter that if she looks elsewhere for a dress that she shouldn't tell the sales person that you don't want to buy today because they work hard for you because they work on commission. She said "you are considered a no sale today and even if you come back tomorrow I won't make a commission" Why should a bride feel pressure to buy a dress on your first day of looking just because the dress shop you work for has a commission structure that is not beneficial to you? Although this salesperson knows her stuff her high pressure tactic was a huge turnoff. We will be buying a dress elsewhere. read more

I must say my experience has not been as wonderful as others. It started with the staff talking bad about the groom in front of his sister. It was followed by providing a vest that had food stains on it to my nephew. While they replaced it, they did not offer compensation to my brother for his multiple trips. Lastly, I unfortunately had someone drop off my son's rental since I live out of town. He did not watch the staff unpack it and they claimed my son's vest was missing. While I can't prove it was there, my son is 99.9% sure he watched me pack it. Even so, they have the nerve to charge 45.00 dollars for a low quality vest. I wouldn't recommend using Dress Gallery for your services, but maybe we are the only one's that had poor service. I gave them a bonus star because they did apologize for my experience. read more

Confession: I know the owner, she's a friend of a friend. That said, I wouldn't review her place as five stars if it didn't merit it. This place specializes in prom dresses, Wedding gowns and accessories. I *love* the selection of dresses they have, the styles range from conservative to flashy to wild. The wedding dresses are probably the prettiest I have seen in Kansas. What I especially love is that plus-sized wedding gowns are available! These aren't your typical, cheap, boring David's bridal type plus size gowns! If only she was in business when I got married... :( April, the owner, is an absolute doll. She's never met a stranger, she is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. You should definitely give this place a try before making any final decisions on your next formal dress. read more

Best selection of wedding jewelry and veils in town! Super friendly staff, helpful and available, but not annoying when you just want to browse. A Wonderful selection of dresses at many price points (we've shopped here for both prom and wedding dresses). Overall bad experience renting tuxedos through this company for my little sister's wedding last weekend. None of the tuxes fit originally, other than one person, and there were food stains on several including the father of the bride's. Not a good experience for the tux rentals. Several food stains and pants that were a bad fit. Although they were willing to fix these issues for those who arrived in town on time, it was still a HUGE hassle. Then one little boy's "vest" was reportedly missing and they charged an exorbitant fee $45 for it. The vest was nothing more than a front with adjustable straps made of cheap fabric. I do not recommend doing business with them. If you do, be certain that you watch them as you return items. read more

Jillian is beyond amazing. I went in yesterday to try on dresses and was paired with Jillian as my consultant. She was warm and friendly right from when we walked in. She asked great questions and really listened to what I was looking for. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease at what could have been a bit uncomfortable as you change (obviously) in front of your consultant. I can be pretty picky (I'm sure any bride probably is) and she remained patient and pleasant the entire time. I believe I tried on about 8 dresses before she found the perfect one (I actually ended up with two ) yep, she's that good!! Worst experience for my sister. That girl could not get us out of there fast enough. First we set an appt, get the and we are sent to find her size on our own. Why set an appt then? Then when we tell her we can't find her size(16-18) she tells us maybe we could look at Dillard's or somewhere like that. When we are completely in shock. When we see the rest of our group to come shop with us and tell them what she has done and said. They were completely in shock.
