I was very hopeful when I brought a large amount of quality, name-brand clothing, shoes, and accessories to this resale shop. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be extremely disappointing.
When my consignment period ended, I arranged to collect my unsold items and collect my check for those pieces sold. Before signing contract and dropping everything off, I carefully counted and documented the total number of pieces I left with the store. When I returned, many items were missing -- they were neither listed as sold nor included with my unsold inventory.
Even more concerning, I personally found several of my items still on the sales floor displayed under a completely different consigner account number. I left the store still missing multiple pieces because I simply did not have the time to search through all the racks myself. There appears to be a very unorganized and unreliable system for tracking sellers' inventory.
Pricing was also inconsistent and did not seem to reflect brand value appropriately. Additionally, consigners are required to bring items on hangers, which I did -- providing good-quality hangers. However, my clothing was switched onto cheap discount-store hangers, and when I asked if my original hangers would be returned, I was told "no." So essentially, you provide quality hangers and receive inferior ones back.
Overall, the store felt disorganized and management seemed completely unbothered by the missing pieces. Due to the lack of accountability, poor tracking practices, and dismissive response to my concerns, I will not be returning -- neither to sell nor to shop. read more
