One thing, you have to spend over 25 euros to use a credit card. There are six stores in all, and they are all within a couple of blocks on the same street, Cherche du Midi, which is on the next block from the Bon Marche. If you like consignment stores, do not waste your time at any of the others!!

Staff was courteous and helpful--even with suggestions for books by lessor-known French authors.
